We’re looking for a Marketing & Growth Manager who wants to help grow the audience of Bliss and its clients.

WHO ARE YOU?

You’ll understand all aspects of the marketing toolbox, and know how these can work together to deliver success. You’ll be able to deliver marketing strategies for Bliss and our clients, identifying opportunities and executing your plan with support from the rest of the team. THE ROLE 

NEA is looking to appoint new Warm and Safe Homes (WASH) Advice Line Co-ordinator posts on a full time (37 hours per week) basis; but we are happy to receive applications from candidates who may wish to work part time hours as we would be prepared to appoint posts as job share opportunities. WASH Advice Line Co-ordinators will be the first point of contact for vulnerable householders who are contacting the charity for a range of energy related advice matters. Co-ordinators will need to be empathetic, polite and have good listening skills but may also need you to be assertive and confident in order to provide support to clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances. 

Whilst call centre or customer service experience will be advantageous, empathy and an ability to understand client needs is paramount and our training will give successful candidates the knowledge to succeed in the role.   

The post holder’s main responsibilities will be to deal with customer and partner emails, calls, live chats and off- line tasks. These will include:    

• Provision of day-to-day support to our customers and partners (referral organisations) on any queries, or issues, through answering telephones calls and emails.   

• Process, resolve or escalate client queries within the WASH and wider team in line with the internal process.   

• As a WASH Advice Line Co-ordinator, you’ll be in the front line of the provision of solutions to client queries and issues as part of a wider team.  

• Maintenance of appropriate client records and necessary data using client management systems to ensure the progress of work towards project targets is monitored and that project outcomes are fully recorded.

The post holders will be responsible for the delivery of a range of projects which will demonstrate good practice in delivery of affordable warmth for low income and vulnerable householders.

The posts sit within the Communities Directorate and are part of a dynamic and caring team of professionals who go the extra mile to support their clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED 

You should be able to demonstrate understanding or experience of energy efficiency, you will be empathetic and be a good listener – as well as demonstrable experience of responding to the needs of clients in direct contact settings.  You will have the ability to work with a wide range of people and demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable householders, low income and/or other disadvantaged groups.

You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with a range of communities and individuals.

An awareness of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them, is desirable, although not essential.

NEA has several office locations throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and welcomes applicants from all regions.  Home working and office-based locations are available depending on proximity to a NEA office. Our approach is centred on deep organising with a cohort of patient leaders who have been directly impacted by the health injustices on which we campaign. This group steer and lead our campaigns, but are supported by a much larger group of volunteers and supporters. This role will be focused on our campaign strand around the crisis in young people’s mental health, focused on the role that late-stage capitalism is having on both the drivers of poor mental health, mental illness, and madness, and the ineffective responses to this crisis.

The role has two distinct parts: providing administrative support that facilitates the work of the Senior Youth Mental Health Organiser; and identifying and developing the leadership of young people directly affected by these health injustices and their families, building trusting relationships that ensure they are able to shape the strategy and lead the campaigns that win tangible improvements in the mental health and wellbeing of the people we are campaigning with and for.

This role is home-based, but will require extensive travel across Wiltshire and Swindon to attend in-person meetings and work from various community hubs.

As the Wiltshire Team Leader you will:

• Ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims of crime and retain and develop contracts for services by supporting and managing operational staff

• Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and management team, in order to achieve the implementation of work force plans and the development of the service to maximise positive outcomes for those that access the service

• Proactively promote the service, raise awareness of services & work with professionals collaboratively to improve the access to and quality of services

About You

An understanding of the Criminal justice system and the impact of crime on victims and witnesses are essential for this role, as well as experience of the following: 

• An understanding of legislation relating to equal opportunities and diversity, inclusivity, safeguarding and risk assessments

• A practical understanding of the requirement for confidentiality and safe working practice and maintenance of records in accordance with the Data Protection Act and other legal requirements

• Experience of working in a challenging and changing environment with an emphasis on customer focus and excellence in service delivery

• Demonstrable experience of providing crisis management, support and guidance in sometimes stressful and difficult situations to a team with a client service focus

• Excellent communication, negotiation and advisory skills, both written and verbal when interacting professionally with a range of agencies and individuals.

We are looking for a compassionate leader to take our Internal Communications and Engagement function to the next level as we enter the next phase of our Help and Hope strategy in 2027. You’ll be a culture champion, inspiring storyteller, digital innovator, and cross-organisation relationship builder.
This is a leadership role within our People Directorate and will head up a collaborative Internal Communications and Engagement team that is focused on evolving our culture framework and creating an inspiring workplace through communications. A key pillar of the role will be championing colleague voice through our forums and lived experience networks, supporting both our employed and volunteer colleagues.
This role will lead the team to create a framework for culture development that is focused on driving our bold ambitions as a charity and having a demonstrable impact. We are at an exciting juncture as an organisation as we are mid-way through our strategy and there is a huge potential to help shape the direction of travel for colleagues when it comes to communications and engagement.
You will join our heads of community and be working with senior leaders across the organisation so experience of influencing, joining the dots and working collaboratively across large organisations will be important.
You’ll also play a key role in the People Directorate to build a compelling people experience and vision to enable colleagues to go all in and do the best work of their lives in support of our cause.
You will be building on strong foundations of comms and engagement best practices and have scope to shape what comms and culture at the Society could look like for the future that will ultimately have the greatest impact on those living with dementia.
It’s a varied and creative role – from shaping the organisational narrative, through to innovating creative ways to engage and leading events that inspire - creating a culture of open and transparent communication are all part of this role.

At Feba UK, we are passionate about God’s mission, and the creative use of radio and other audio media to inspire people to follow Jesus. We have a particular heart for people in places considered closed or hard-to-reach: where people might not hear the gospel by any other means, or where it’s difficult to be a Christian.

About our development

Since Feba UK was established 65 years ago to help communicate the gospel by shortwave radio, much has changed with big shifts in technology, missiology and geopolitics.

We no longer operate radio infrastructure or ‘send’ missionaries from the UK. Instead, we support local partners with training, expertise, prayer, and funding to produce culturally appropriate programmes in the listener’s ‘heart language’. Radio and other audio technology means they can reach people at scale and follow up in-person as listeners respond.

Today, our model of working with local, indigenous partners has a powerful impact in parts of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

About the role

We now seek a Head of Communications and Engagement to focus on engaging the Church in the UK, where increasingly fewer churches see world mission as a priority. This role will take the lead on changing this, inspiring the Church through Feba UK’s ministry, reawakening its members to the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ to bring transformation to some of the most disadvantaged and oppressed communities around the world.
