Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager
Number of Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend working
Accountability of post: The post holder will be line managed by and accountable to the Development Manager
Location of post: Remote, with travel as required

Do you have a strong track record of fundraising within the charity sector? We are looking for someone who can manage corporate and community fundraisers, develop events, both locally and nationally; as well as being able to write, and submit successful funding applications to trusts and other funding sources.
As our ‘Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager’ you will develop, deliver, and manage a range of corporate and community fundraising initiatives that will help the Throat Cancer Foundation (TCF) promote and deliver its services.
About Us
Founded in 2012 we are a UK charity that provide support, advice and information to patients and their loved ones who are affected by cancers of the head, mouth, neck, chest, and those throat cancers caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). We also campaign for universal HPV vaccination to prevent any future devastating throat cancer cases. Raising awareness of HPV and how it causes throat cancers has been and continues to be a large part of our work.
About the role
The successful applicant will work closely with the CEO, the management team, and Trustees to implement, develop and deliver a fundraising strategy that meets the charity’s challenging income targets. This post will play a vital role in helping us to deliver our range of throat cancer support programmes to patients, families, as well as to medical professionals and the scientific research sectors. This is a unique and challenging role, which will see the successful applicant working on a variety of projects at any one time, whilst working under pressure to deliver results. It is therefore important that anyone in that role has great communication skills as well as experience of managing fundraising events on a nationwide scale.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fundraising duties as required.
- Be the customer service face for all fundraisers and fundraising activities.
- Play a key role in the development and implementation of TCF’s community fundraising activities and third-party events.
- Work with the Business Development Manager and CEO to develop key messages, briefings, and positioning statements to ensure consistency and maximise the impact of our work
- Create, manage, and deliver robust project plans for allocated events delivering on set income targets.
- Review and adapt current events in the portfolio to maximise supporter engagement, retention and income growth.
- Booking and liaising with all suppliers involved with events and building and maintaining strong relationships with them.
- Working across the charity and externally, to significantly grow both volunteer numbers and activity.
- Develop the way we speak about volunteering, our brand, and associated materials, in order to attract more volunteers with the skills we need.

About You
You have demonstratable experience as a corporate and community fundraiser with excellent knowledge of the charity sector. You are friendly, highly organised, and skilled in multitasking and balancing priorities. You’re able to write professionally and compellingly for various funders. You have a passion and empathy for people and their power of community to connect and support others.
Essential Skills
- Proven track record in corporate and community fundraising.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
- Fundraising support experience.
- Understanding of fundraising within the charity sector.
- Ability to co-ordinate priorities and work accurately and to tight deadlines.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal comfortably with key individuals at all levels.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to help deliver SSAFA volunteer support to the serving community.
You will work closely with the Serving Community Manager to develop SSAFA’s support to the serving community through its volunteer delivered Serving Community Teams and the Community Volunteering Service.

We are looking for a highly organised individual to deliver volunteering support to the serving community. You will have a good understanding of the unique issues that the serving Armed Forces community may experience, and knowledge and experience of the charitable sector.
You will have experience of managing volunteers, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish working relationships quickly.
As a proactive and motivated individual, you will have good project management skills in order to prioritise your time, and plan and deliver an exciting new services to the serving community.

Are you a skilled and knowledgeable fundraiser who can help us secure the funding we need to ensure that children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive the education they are legally entitled to?
We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious fundraiser who is keen to develop their skill set across the fundraising mix and looking for an opportunity with strategic input. About the Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager role:
The Trusts and Statutory fundraising team meet donations targets by looking for suitable opportunities to apply to trusts, statutory and lottery funders to enable delivery of charitable impact. The Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager plays a key role in the development and delivery of the charity’s Trusts and Statutory fundraising strategy.
They attract new large funders to the charity and ensure the highest levels of stewardship to grow and maintain relationships. They investigate and maximise new income opportunities and play a key role in analysing the performance of our portfolio and progress against KPIs. They work collaboratively and influences with other members of the Fundraising directorate, and wider organisation to lead and coordinate cross team initiatives.
They lead on trust fundraising for specific RVS projects, e.g. Virtual Village Hall or dementia services. Ensures that funders’ expectations are met, and targets reached, by managing cross- departmental individuals and groups. What you'll bring as our Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager:
Knowledge of the funding sector and the work of the charity, making a credible ambassador for the charity. Understands and implements good funder stewardship practice. Understands the requirements of the fundraising regulator, particularly as it applies to trusts and statutory funding.
Excellent knowledge of trusts and grant givers in the UK, including giving trends. Talented writer, able to craft compelling narratives to showcase our cases for support and our impact. Persuasive interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Highly articulate and numerate. Good analytical skills, including analysing and manipulating data for project reporting. Able to consider patterns and potential and feed into future planning.
Proficient with financial information, including presenting budgets to external audiences. Solution focused, able to work with others to find solutions so that activity can progress.
Substantial (three or more years) proven track record of raising five and six figure gifts from Trusts, Foundations, or public bodies, and demonstrable experience of meeting financial targets. Experience of undertaking prospect research, pipeline management and feeding into future planning. Experience of using Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising databases.

We are looking for someone with good administrative skills to join our small and friendly Services Delivery Team. You will provide admin support across the organisation and be responsible for setting up family support courses, both locally and online. Caudwell Children is a national charity which works to change the lives of disabled and autistic children; change society’s understanding and acceptance of disability; and change public perceptions of the important role that charity plays in society.
Based from the award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire, we seek an experienced relationship manager with the ability to identify opportunities and develop relationships to raise funds which support the charity’s expanding service delivery.
Responsible for the ownership and development of sponsorship and associated donor relationships, this role will play a pivotal part in helping to grow the charity’s fundraising income and helping to change the lives of autistic and disabled children across the UK and beyond.
The successful candidate will join a growing team of enthusiastic fundraising professionals aimed at improving the donor experience and growing the charity’s fundraising income.
The role will be part of the Community Fundraising strand and will be responsible for sponsorship income lines including, but not limited to:

The role
As Community Coordinator, your role will focus on the growth and sustainability of the FareShare Go programme, through maximising relationships and adding value to create the best experience for our charity community. The successful candidate will be an exceptional communicator, with an approachable nature who will play a vital role in developing and maintaining charity and retailer relationships, plus raising awareness of FareShare Go across your local area.
Main areas of responsibility
- Charity account management: You will carry out virtual calls and in person visits with new and existing charities, and be responsible for ensuring that coverage KPIs are reached and maintained for both new and existing retailers. Using your analysis of charity needs, plus your knowledge of retailer and store profiles, you will use these visits to maximise the offer to charities, ensuring the service meets their requirements.
- Community Capacity Building: As part of the Building of relationships with charities, you will seek opportunities to enable and empower charities to increase their capacity and ability to take more food, to ultimately increase the redistribution of surplus food to those in need.
- Sustainability and Compliance: You will work with your Regional Manager and team to identify stores where re-engagement activities are needed to improve charity coverage and charity compliance. You will work to maximise the amount of food collected by charities with lower levels of compliance. You will also be responsible for undertaking food safety reviews with charities to ensure compliance.
- Retailer Engagement: You will play a key role in maintaining strong retailer relationships across your region. You will take an active role in any meet and greets with retailers, where required. Plus, you will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with the relevant retail stakeholders in your region, sensitively dealing with any issues in a professional manner, as and when they arise.
- FareShare Network Engagement: We aim to become 'oneFareShare’. These roles are an integral part of our FareShare network and you will partner closely with the Regional Centre(s) in your areas. You will work on joint initiatives which improve and grow the FareShare community, ensuring that charities have access to the FareShare service which best meet their needs.
