You'll support the Corporate New Business Manager with the account management of corporate partnerships and generating new income through securing new corporate partnerships.

You'll support the development and ongoing review of the prospect pipeline, researching companies and sectors with an affinity for our work, whilst managing a portfolio of small to medium sized partnerships (worth approximately £5-75k per annum). You'll produce high quality written proposals and pitch materials, as well as organising volunteering opportunities for corporate partners.

• Experience working within Corporate Partnerships, or another fundraising income stream.
• Experience of supporter relationship management with a track record of building successful relationships.

The Senior Data Protection Officer (DPO) will play a critical role in overseeing Muslim Aid’s data protection strategy and its implementation to ensure compliance with data protection regulations. This position involves safeguarding the personal data of beneficiaries, employees, donors, and partners, and integrating data protection principles into all aspects of the organisation’s operations.

This is a permanent, part-time position, requiring three days a week.

About the Role:

1. Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR, and other relevant legislation in the countries where INGO operates.
2. Develop, update, and maintain the organisation’s data protection policies, procedures, and guidelines to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
3. Develop and implement a comprehensive data protection strategy that aligns with the organisation’s mission and operational needs, ensuring data protection is embedded in all processes and activities.
4. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programmes on data protection principles and specific legal requirements, including SAR handling, to educate all relevant stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. Bachelor’s degree in law, Information Security, IT, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in data protection, privacy law, or a related field, preferably within an INGO or non-profit environment.
3. In-depth knowledge of global data protection laws and practices, including GDPR, and an understanding of the legal and regulatory environments in the countries where INGO operates.
4. Strong understanding of information technology and data management practices, with the ability to work effectively with ICT professionals to implement technical data protection measures.

The Housing Income Manager is Refuge’s expert lead and responsible for all elements of housing income management for our accommodation, including the policy framework, service charge calculation and rent setting, housing income budgets, training and management of rent collection, reporting and ensuring that all the processes meet the high standards set by the organisation and regulations in place.

About the role:

Single Homeless Project's in house psychotherapy has secured further funding to provide psychotherapy/counselling and psycho-educational groups for young people (16-25 years old) who are using SHP's accommodation and support provision. The post provides a psychologically informed service to young people and the care teams who support them. 

We are currently looking to recruit a young person's psychotherapist for 6 months maternity cover, who will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team offering in person interventions which are preventions focused rather than crisis management. This will include both individual psychotherapy and psychoeducation group work, which will be co-produced, informative and enlightening on bio-social-physiological responses to trauma; for example abusive relationships, racism and poverty. 

It is highly likely this contract will be extended to 12 months after internal funding decisions have been made, this cannot be confirmed at this time but will be discussed further in interview with any shortlisted candidates. About the role:

The European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) was established in 2000 and is a not-for-profit speciality college that oversees the training, examination and completion/maintenance of credential requirements of veterinarians who are equine internal medicine specialists, referred to as ECEIM Diplomates. Currently the college is run by a team of dedicated trustees and are eager to take the next step and create capacity for growth.

This is a brand new role and in which you will have the opportunity to shape and develop what a successful Chief Operating Officer looks like for this exciting and far reaching college. Your role will be to enable ECEIM to operate more effectively in order to facilitate the College’s growth, working with the board members to understand their vision, and work to enhance, develop and support on existing  key processes and procedures that help the college to run effectively. This role will ultimately support ECEIM’s mission and key objectives to advance equine internal medicine in Europe and increase the competency of those who practice in this field.

Whilst this role has an exciting future focus, a key part of your remit will be to oversee the day-to-day running of the college and help ensure everything is working well, keeping abreast of important deadlines such as key governance and compliance or liaising with external partner firms to ensure that they deliver key events on ECEIM’s behalf.

While much of your role may be administrative or operational in nature at first, there is also great scope to input into the colleges longer term strategic direction, all of which is leading to sustainable growth and increasing the impact of what ECEIM have set out to do.

About you:

You’ll bring both a practical and solutions based mindset as well as the ability to see the bigger picture in order to facilitate ECEIM’s longer term strategy. As this is a brand new role you will need to feel confident in the listening and learning phase as well as being able to see the improvements, recommend developments and create any next steps needed to support the ECEIM board and ultimately get the role off the ground.

You  will have the chance to utilise your experience in both big picture thinking, as well as your ability to design and develop processes and ways of working that will help ECEIM to take the next steps.

Using your excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills you’ll be able to foster positive relationships with volunteers, members and other professional bodies, including working directly with  ECEIM’s key committees, helping them stay connected, informed and working as best as they can.

You will also bring a strong financial awareness and both ‘know how’ to action financial processes, working with the treasurer, but also to be able to spot when specialist skills may be needed to support you. Experience with data analysis and reporting is essential.

Whilst it is advantageous for you to have held a similar role before, a background in project or programme management, leading a department, operations management or financial management could bring the blend of key skills that will help you be successful in this role.

An understanding of academia and the importance of professionalism, credentials and high level qualifications is helpful and while an understanding the importance of ECEIM’s mission and animal welfare is essential, you don't need to have necessarily had any experience in the animal welfare sector.

What we can offer you:

Salary: circa £30,000 to £32,000 per annum, actual (circa £56,000 to £60,000 FTE). This would be reviewed on an annual basis.

Location: Remote role, working from home. UK based.

Hours of work: Your contracted hours are 20 hours per week. Exact working pattern can be discussed with the successful candidate. With a role at this level you may be expected to be flexible with that pattern at times, and as ECEIM’s remit is across Europe and beyond, you may also have the opportunity to travel with the role.

Pension: ECEIM will provide a pension contribution of 3% of salary; the employee will contribute a minimum of 5% of salary.

About ECEIM

The European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) is a not-for-profit speciality college that oversees the training, examination and completion/maintenance of credential requirements of veterinarians who are equine internal medicine specialists.

The ECEIM was established in 2000 and in 2010 became a fully recognised member of the European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS), a regulatory Board of all European veterinary specialty colleges. As a recognised EBVS specialist in equine internal medicine serves the veterinary patient, its owner and the public by providing expert care for horses, ponies, donkeys, mules and other Equidae with medical diseases. Furthermore, an ECEIM Diplomate aims to increase the competency of those who practice in this field through training and dissemination of knowledge.

The postholder will support our cutting-edge work on workforce projections and productivity, contributing to a range of in-house research projects and drawing from academic findings. The postholder will work closely with our research partners on projects related to health and care workforce. This includes a system dynamics model of future nurse supply in England.

The Health Foundation’s Research and Economic Analysis for the Long term (REAL) Centre was set up in 2019 to improve the evidence base for strategic decisions in the health and care system, such as relate to funding, service priorities and workforce. This role is to provide maternity cover for our Support for Boarding programme. You will be the key point of contact for schools, families and young people supported by us, working within a larger Grants team. We are not accepting new applications from August 2024, so you will lead the annual renewals process to confirm bursary grants for current students, manage grant payments, oversee the programme budget and contribute to deeper thinking about the programme as we develop it further.

Mentor Administrator 

Post:Mentor Administrator – Sickle Cell Children and Young Persons’ Peer Mentoring Programme

Base:Flexible home working in the intervention areas which will cover Liverpool, Manchester and Sheffield 

Accountable to:North-West/South Yorkshire Programme Manager

Hours:Part-time (17.5 hours a week)

Salary:£11,500 (pro rated)

Length of contract:Fixed term, 12 months (post will be continued subject to the outcome of negotiations with funders).

Role Purpose

The Mentor Administrator will work with the mentoring team, as well as in partnership with local NHS services and local patient/family support groups, providing various administrative support tasks to ensure the delivery and smooth running of the Children and Young Adults Peer Mentoring programme. The post will be managed by the North-West and South Yorkshire Programme Manager. The post holder will have regular meetings for input and guidance to complete tasks to specified timelines. This role would suit an experienced administrator.

The Peer Mentoring programme aims to improve the health and wellbeing of young people (aged 10-24) with Sickle Cell Disorder (SCD) across North-West England (Liverpool, Manchester) and South Yorkshire (Sheffield).

Positions Available:

Liverpool: 1 Lead Mentor

Manchester: 1 Lead Mentor

Sheffield: 1 Lead Mentor

Base:Flexible home working, with other locations to meet the needs of the young people.

Accountable to:North-West and South Yorkshire Programme Manager

Manages: Liverpool and Manchester: 2 Mentors, Sheffield: 1 Mentor

Salary:£15.00 per hour (sessional basis)

Length of contract:Fixed term, 12 months (subject to the outcome of negotiations with funders).

Role Purpose

The Lead Mentor will be managing the mentor team as well as working in partnership with the local NHS local patient/family Support Groups in their region. They will deliver mentoring sessions to young people on a sessional basis.

Mentors – 5 roles

Positions Available:

Liverpool: 2 Mentors

Manchester: 2 Mentors

Sheffield: 1 Mentor

Base:Flexible home working, and other locations to meet the needs of the young person.

Accountable to:Local Lead Mentor

Manages:N/A

Salary:£12.35 per hour (sessional basis)

Length of contract:Fixed term, 12 months (post will be continued subject to the outcome of negotiations with funders).

Role Purpose

Mentors will deliver mentoring sessions on a seasonal basis to young people. They will work with the Lead Mentor as well as in partnership with the local NHS and local patient/family support group.
