Key Areas

- Increase participant numbers on events through comprehensive and diverse marketing campaigns.

- Track performance including registration numbers and income – reporting back to all parties.
- Undertake analysis work to improve understanding of current audience demographics and their interests, reviewing this regularly to ensure accuracy.
- Undertake regular competitor analysis work to scope trends and gaps in the marketplace – looking at how we benchmark ourselves against our competitors.
- Support on the strategic planning devised by all partners, providing insight learnt from the portfolio and audience analysis to help shape this.

Job Purpose
This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is an out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. The service operates 365 days a year from 12:00 (midday)-11:30pm across all of our boroughs.
This role is for our Ealing Safe Space, 4:30pm - 11:30pm. You may be required to cover at other locations across Hammersmith & Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow.

The objectives of the service include:
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health crisis in HFEH.
- To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation, planned wellbeing activities etc.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- To treat service users with respect, dignity and personalised support
- To raise awareness of mental health services available with the goal to improve long term mental health and reduce social isolation
- To increase self-management skills of those accessing the service
- To reduce the use of police, ambulance and statutory mental health services whilst experiencing crisis.
- To reduce the use of statutory crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual.
The Role
The role of the team manager will be to support the rest of the team in delivering interventions on a one-to-one and group basis. The role will also involve triaging and assessing all clients accessing the service, signposting and delivering collaborative self-management plans with clients to improve mental wellbeing. The role will also include line management and supervision of support workers within the service. Team managers are responsible for management of their site; including report writing, audits and being the named manager for the site. This role directly supports the service managers in keeping to a high standard service.

About the role:
This role involves both face to face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working. There is an expectation that you will do a mixture of working from home, our office in Old Street and in co-location at Northwick Park Hospital. As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advocate you will:
- Implement effective ways of working with victims to increase safety and reduce harm
- Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritised according to risk
- Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse
- Be comfortable with running group training sessions and be willing and able to share your specialist knowledge with acute staff across the hospital
- Have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach and the confidence to be able to influence the way in which this service is delivered are key
