International Finance Manager, an excellent opportunity to join an International Welfare Charity, based in the UK.

As the International Finance Manager, working in collaboration with the Director of Finance, you will manage the finance functions and oversee the financial management of the charity and its international subsidiary.  Responsible for providing a financial and management accounting oversight role for the subsidiary partner, along with managing the relationship with outsourced bookkeepers, banks, and other service providers.

In collaboration with the Director of Finance, you will hold specific financial management responsibilities which include:

• The implementation and ongoing oversight of financial policies, practices, processes and systems
• The production of the budget and quarterly management accounts.
• The management of the external audit and production of consolidated year end statutory accounts.
• Maintain the relationship with banks, HMRC and outsourced financial services providers.
• Provide comprehensive finance support to staff, budget-holders and the Leadership Team on budgeting and reporting.
• Support the Director of Finance in providing comprehensive financial analysis and reporting to the Board, Resources Mobilisation and Communications and Leadership Team.
• In addition, be responsible for providing a financial and management accounting oversight role to the charities subsidiary partner.

• Undertake the financial due diligence review of new and existing members in accordance with the charities Due Diligence Framework.

To be successful in this International Finance Manager role, you will have prior experience and knowledge of; 

• Working in a Finance Management or Management Accountant role, within an international charity and knowledge of relevant charity accounting standards and regulations. 
• ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CA qualified
• Experience of leading across the finance function is key (or at least leading on multiple aspects of the finance function)
• Experience of leading/managing the external audit process, as well as a practical experience of annual accounts preparation, reconciliations and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Experience of restricted fund project accounting and donor reporting.
• Experience of foreign currency transactions
• Working in a multicultural setting or working as part of an international team across different timezones.
• Knowledge and experience of control systems and processes.

Job purpose

About The Role

My Recovery is a platform that  provides our beneficiaries with a single source to access Recovery support tools.

The post holder will manage the day to day delivery and co-ordination of our My Recovery platform ensuring content planning, programming and commissioning to deliver an engaging and effective experience for users both existing and new beneficiaries. 

Deliver product enhancements & developments for My Recovery, liaising with Eclipse platform team sand external agencies/providers (Giant, OLM & JustGo)

Support the evaluation on going (both Analytics and user research) 

Manage the user experience, leading improvements across the platform to deliver the best journeys and engagement including all platform content. 

Support the reporting up to Recovery leadership, Exec & Trustees

About You

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

• At least 1 years’ experience of digital product management
• Fully responsible for running and managing content creation plan
• Able to report on all key web and users metrics and propose improvements to achieve. Experienced with Google Analytics.
• Experience sourcing user feedback on digital products, and then how to use this insight to improve experience 
• Demonstrable and Exceptional project management skills – a real starter finisher used to getting the most out of internal teams and external agencies. 
• Good understanding of website UX

The Network Lead plays a central role in helping us achieve our vision to end the need for food banks in the UK. This is a varied, proactive and fast-paced role that involves representing the Trussell Trust on policy and public affairs in the region/nation, the leadership of a dynamic team of area managers that supports the network of food banks in the region/nation to deliver emergency food, and the coordination of projects and partnerships to support the food banks in our network to reduce the need for their services locally. 

Role responsibilities 

• Strategic Leadership: Manage the delivery in the region/nation of food bank operations and key strategic projects that are part of the Trussell Trust’s five-year strategy to end the need for food banks.

• Projects and partnerships: Build partnerships and develop projects with organisations to develop and build services and systems that help end the need for food banks, including working with food banks to ensure that local churches (including church leaders) are connected to and have an understanding of the importance of ending the need for food banks in local communities. 

• Policy and public affairs: Engage with a wide range of external bodies, including elected representatives, faith and community organisations, and research bodies. 

• Team Leadership: Provide leadership, support and line management to the area managers. 

• Risk Management: Ensure consistent quality assurance of food banks across the region, in line with guidance from the safeguarding and quality team at the Trussell Trust, and support area managers to deal with complaints and manage food banks with high risks. 

• Cross-organisational working: Act as a liaison between the area team, the wider operations team, and other directorates, managing the flow of ideas and feedback to positive effect.  

Person Specification 

Technical skills and minimum knowledge: 

• Confidently represent the Trussell Trust with a range of stakeholders, including elected representatives, and effectively manage the roll-out of the organisational strategy in the region/nation. 

• Knowledge and experience of policy and public affairs, including a track record of successfully influencing politicians and key decision-makers to achieve strategic goals. 
   

• Knowledge and experience of community development or local service provision. 

• Experience of managing projects and partnerships, from inception to evaluation, to achieve strategic goals. 

• Experience of team leadership. line management and supervision, including dealing with performance issues and using coaching skills. 

• Competent and efficient use of IT, including the main Microsoft Office programs and database management. 

• This role will require an appreciation and understanding of the significance of Christian faith within our food bank network, and the ability to build effective relationships in contexts where Christian faith plays a major part, and in which people of all faiths and none collaborate to make a difference together. Food banks in our network are typically governed by or run in partnership with local churches from across a wide range of denominations and traditions.

As Senior Income & Engagement Officer, you will work closely with the Director of Income & Engagement to develop and implement strategies and campaigns to deepen relationships with individual supporters to increase both campaign participation and grow income. You will also lead on a Legacy programme and manage an Income & Engagement Assistant, ensuring the delivery of world class supporter care and experience.

As Senior Income & Engagement Officer, you will need:

• Significant proven experience managing individual giving fundraising campaigns across a range of offline and digital channels. This could have been gained working in-house at a charity or working for a fundraising agency or similar.
• Excellent copywriting, written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate data to insight and communicate this with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrable experience of meeting fundraising targets and developing individual giving or digital income streams.

The Role

Working across both Social Mind and Social Sync as a Customer Success Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our non-profit clients succeed in their digital fundraising endeavours.

You will oversee the complete lifecycle of client engagement, from onboarding to support and retention, ensuring they fully leverage our platform's capabilities and agency expertise.

You will act as a strategic advisor, guiding clients through their journey with Social Mind and helping them optimise their campaigns for maximum impact.

Your role will involve proactive communication, strategic planning, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences building long term relationships.

Social Mind are experts at using social fundraising to drive income and engagement. From product innovation, journey design and campaign builds to virtual event management, we support charities in delivering successful campaigns at scale.

Our fundraising platform, Social Sync, aims to revolutionise the sector with integrated digital fundraising campaigns and behavioural, omni-channel supporter journeys.

We empower charities to raise more money with integrated multi-platform fundraising, drive supporter acquisition and build stronger relationships with sophisticated, personal journeys and we unlock the supporter’s potential with meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management:
  • Work closely with Growth team to deliver smooth and effective handover milestones to ensure ongoing client confidence.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at non-profit organisations, understanding their digital fundraising goals and aligning our solutions with their strategic objectives.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and strategic reviews to assess client satisfaction, gather feedback and identify opportunities to increase value and reduce churn across Social Mind and Social Sync.
  • Explore different ways in which clients may benefit from new agency services as our offer diversifies in line with market trends and demands.
• Onboarding and Adoption:
  • Ensure client satisfaction by keeping internal teams well briefed to successfully deliver agreed client requirements to a high standard and on time.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure clients have everything needed for successful campaign launches and ongoing optimisations.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive adoption and engagement with our platform, tailoring approaches to each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Success Planning and Outcomes:
  • Create and manage comprehensive success plans for clients, setting clear goals and regularly reviewing progress to ensure they achieve their desired outcomes.
  • Provide best practices and strategic recommendations to help clients elevate their fundraising efforts and fully utilise our platform and agency offering.
  • Act as the internal voice of the customer, gathering feedback and collaborating with our Product and Development teams to drive enhancements that meet client needs.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities for upsell, working closely with internal teams to address concerns and explore growth possibilities.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge and understanding of non-profit fundraising, particularly social and digital fundraising.
• Experience with managing multi-channel campaigns and understanding campaign lifecycle from planning to post-campaign analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder interactions and inspiring action through data and case studies.
• Tech-savvy, with a strong interest in learning about our platform and the ability to provide technical guidance to clients.
• Positive, enthusiastic team player with a collaborative approach and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Experience in the non-profit sector is desirable, with a passion for supporting charitable causes and driving meaningful change.
• Experience in a Customer Success or Account Management role is desirable, ideally within the non-profit sector or a B2B SaaS environment.
