We are looking for an experienced Grants Commissioning Manager to join our Grants & Commissioning Team based in Portsmouth. The Commissioning Manager will support the Head of Commissioned Grants with all elements of the commissioning cycle including understanding need, designing projects, performance management of delivery and reporting of impact as well as providing and developing commissioning and project support, in line with RNRMC’s commissioning and partnership funding model.The role will work with internal and external stakeholders regarding the performance of grants programmes to ensure quality, evidenced outputs, and value for money of projects.
In addition, you may be asked to line manage team members, taking responsibility for actively and proactively supporting them to achieve in their post.

Experience and Background
You will be an experienced commissioning manager with excellent interpersonal skills. You will be diplomatic and approachable with a strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing. You will possess excellent problem-solving skills and judgement alongside a meticulous, accurate and disciplined approach to work. You will demonstrate good organisational skills and be able to prioritise a varied and busy workload and deliver to deadlines.
You will have strong people management skills and experience in working with a wide range of stakeholders and will inspire confidence, provide credible leadership, build and maintain relationships plus motivate and drive towards delivery of change at pace.
You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic, be able to think strategically to resolve problems and make recommendations and present options for approval.

Hours of Work
Hours of work are 35 hours per week, 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.
We have a friendly, supportive, and inclusive environment with a hybrid working approach of 60% in office and 40% home-working.
Salary
The salary range for the post is between £ 38,000 to £ 45,000 per annum, according to skills and experience.

The Programme Officer (PO) will be part of a five-person team, working under the direction of the Senior Programme Manager to advance the Foundation’s advocacy and creative work across and around our three thematic areas. The Programme Officer will play a leading role in integrating creativity into the Foundation’s advocacy work while making an important contribution to our flagship creative programmes. This role will design and deliver events, such as the Commonwealth People’s Forum and the Critical Conversations series, and support other advocacy initiatives.
The Programme Officer will also support our intergovernmental liaison and external outreach, maintaining effective relationships with the Commonwealth Secretariat and other key partners. They will also help shape and deliver the Programme’s creative output, including the Commonwealth Short Story Prize, while actively embedding creativity across our advocacy work.
Key responsibilities of the Programme Officer include:
- Contribute to the design, delivery, synthesis, monitoring and evaluation of our online and in-person advocacy events, working with the Creative Lead to ensure full integration of creativity into our work.
- As a member of the Core CPF Team, contribute to the planning and delivery of the Foundation’s flagship biennial event, the Commonwealth People’s Forum.
- Support the planning, delivery and evaluation of our engagement in other Commonwealth and global policy spaces.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cross-programme advocacy strategies, in collaboration with the other Foundation programmes, providing a platform for civil society to engage and influence Commonwealth institutions and Member States.
- Develop a capacity to provide back-up support for the delivery of the Foundation’s creative output, including the Commonwealth Short Story Prize.
- Work collaboratively with the Foundation’s Communications team on outreach and delivery of the advocacy objectives and activities.

LSESU is looking for a proactive and driven Facility Coordinator to oversee the daily supervision and operation of our sports facilities. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the spaces, from health and safety compliance to customer service excellence. You’ll also manage internal and external bookings, including LSE Sports Clubs, and coordinate weekly sports events such as BUCS, Club and Society events and private hires from external companies.

About the Role
Reporting to the Community Fundraising Manager, you will take the lead in delivering our in memory giving programme. You’ll be the first point of contact for supporters giving in memory of a loved one and will also support the development of our legacy fundraising programme.

About the Role

Strategy and Leadership
- Lead the delivery of our fundraising strategy in line with our current organisational strategy which runs from 2024-2029.
- Lead on the management of key information about Get Further’s fundraising activity and ensure it is stored appropriately, well organised and with high attention to detail. This will include supporting the transition of the fundraising function onto Salesforce.
- Prepare fundraising update reports for the Finance and Risk Committee and the Board of Trustees as required.
- Contribute to and attend internal/external events on behalf of Get Further as required.
Fundraising and Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead the core fundraising activities, including line managing our Fundraising Officer. This includes developing an in-depth understanding of existing and potential supporters to provide tailored relationship management, including engagement opportunities, to meet significant targets over multiple years.
- Support the Fundraising Officer to identify new prospects, in particular, charitable trusts and foundations that have the potential to support Get Further for the first time. You will effectively qualify and engage with prospects to build a pipeline for the coming years, matching prospects with appropriate asks.
- Oversee and write compelling applications for funding that are tailored to each recipient and make a convincing case for how their support with help more young people achieve their gateway qualifications.
- Lead on ensuring all supporters and donors receive updates and reports within the required timeframes and that these are crafted with impact data and case studies to ensure maximum stakeholder engagement.
Team Management and Collaboration
- Provide effective line management of our Fundraising Officer to support their personal development and successful delivery of their role.
- Work closely with the COO to develop budgets to accompany applications and provide financial reports to funders and partners.
- Work closely with the Impact Team to develop efficient processes for impact reporting to funders.
- Support the COO to ensure that policies relating to fundraising are up to date and fit for purpose.
- Provide expertise to the Senior Management Team on philanthropic opportunities and ensure fundraising is conducted in line with the relevant legislation and the Code of Fundraising Practice.

About the Role
The West London Service Delivery Executive will play a key part in the Service Delivery Team across London supporting with the smooth running of our service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients, volunteers and visitors. Our team is friendly and professional, and we work closely together to make sure every client has an outstanding experience when they visit us.
The Service Delivery Executive will often be the first point of contact a client will have with Smart Works, providing administrative, phone and booking support for clients across London and beyond. Therefore, we are looking for a friendly, organised and hard-working individual. The role requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication skills and a drive to ensure all women who visit us have the best possible experience.
If you’re passionate about supporting women, then this is an ideal opportunity for you. The role would be based full-time at our Smart Works centre in West London, with occasional visits to our other London centres. Macular disease is the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK, with around 300 people diagnosed every day. The Macular Society is the only charity determined to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with world class research, and the best advice and support.
To support people affected by macular disease now, the Macular Society provides a range of support, information and services. Our research programme is focused on finding new treatments and a cure to Beat Macular Disease forever.
This role focuses on raising funds, recruiting new donors and engaging existing donors, with particular emphasis on challenge events. The postholder will work closely with the whole Community & Events Fundraising team in driving income, identifying opportunities and stewarding our supporters.
The postholder will also help to identify opportunities for income generation and donor recruitment including digital and social media. They will liaise with the Community & Events Fundraising Manager to help to forecast each year’s events income and participant numbers. They will also be aware of current fundraising trends and keep up to date with best practice and comply with relevant legislation.

The Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London (RAMFEL) is one of the largest immigration and asylum advice charities in the UK, supporting refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants to access justice. An IAA level 3 accredited organisation, we represent clients at all stages of the immigration and asylum process, up to and including the Upper Tribunal of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber.
We also actively campaign for a fairer and more humane immigration system. RAMFEL caseworkers therefore have the opportunity to work on systemic and strategic challenges and support broader advocacy work.

Specific Responsibilities
Case management
- Manage own caseload, working to advance the best interests of the client
- Adhere to standards set out by IAA/SRA and AQS to deliver high-quality advice
- Provide representation and advice up to IAA level 2/3.
- Engage with the Line Manager to create and follow a training plan to ensure compliance with IAA CPD, keeping up to date with changes in law, policy and guidance to ensure clients receive accurate and high-quality advice
- Liaise directly with the UKVI and related governmental agencies
- Complete forms, letters and immigration applications
- Liaise with and refer clients to Legal Aid Solicitors or other advisers, as appropriate
- Manage clients’ expectations by discussing deadlines, outcomes and timing
- Deliver legal advice outreach surgeries/drop in as and when required
- Progress cases in a timely manner in line with regulatory requirements.
- Implement organisational priorities into day-to-day casework.
