Sussex Emmaus is a charity dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those who have previously experienced homelessness. We provide accommodation for up to 58 people (known as Companions), helping them out of homelessness and providing them with a place to feel safe and secure whilst supporting them to develop and thrive.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dynamic Online and Retail Manager to motivate our team of Companions and volunteers. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be a key member of the management team. Working in conjunction with the Business Manager and other Managers you will have passion and leadership skills to motivate a team of Companions and volunteers, working collaboratively to manage and delegate tasks in compliance with our Emmaus ethos, mission, strategic aims, organisational objectives and policies. Working alongside and instructing Emmaus Companions and volunteers sourcing, researching, listing, packing, pricing and merchandising stock and ensuring the optimum selling price for each donation. No two days are the same, and you'll find it rewarding helping others to thrive. If you can communicate confidently at all levels, with a desire to support the development of people with a variety of needs, and have a positive, motivational attitude, we would love to hear from you. You will be joining a friendly and enthusiastic team who are passionate about what they do.

Main Duties
- Drive the implementation of fundraising strategies targeting global Trusts, Foundations, and Governments.
- Take the lead on managing ClientEarth’s grant relationships across all fundraising regions.
- Oversee the Grants Management Team, providing effective line management and ensuring that Leads, Managers, and Officers are supported and empowered to take charge of their respective funding portfolios.
Role requirements
- Extensive experience in grant management and contract oversight with complex funders
- Strong understanding of foundation, institutional, and statutory income streams, as well as financial processes

The Digital Communications Officer role sits within the Fundraising team which is responsible for the organisation’s income, profile, reputation and supporter base through external and internal communications and campaigns. The primary focus of this role will be social media management, with activities extending to other areas of digital communications, including website content and digital advertising production. Reporting to the Communications and Engagement Manager, the Digital Communications Officer will be instrumental in growing our communities and reach online, promoting Doctors of the World’s UK and overseas operations and advocacy, and driving support for our humanitarian organisation.

In the UK, we deliver our own domestic programme supporting people excluded from healthcare in the UK, including people seeking asylum and those who are homeless. Across our network we have projects ongoing in countries ranging from emergency responses in Gaza and Ukraine through to development work in Sierra Leone and Myanmar.

We are recruiting for a talented Finance and Debt Specialist Advisor who has a background in supporting women or children who have experienced domestic violence to make a genuine difference to the lives of survivors. We believe in empowering women and girls to lead safe, non-violent, equal lives and you will play a key role in helping us deliver vital services to those who need them the most. As a Finance & Debt Specialist Advisor, you will provide service users with advice and support on finance and debt. Carrying out comprehensive assessments, via phone and face-to-face, and you will provide advocacy and support that empowers survivors primarily during crises and in the short term. You will also proactively work with other agencies on the service users’ behalf. You will hold a caseload of survivors and work as part of our duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.
The service is Pan London and operates within local communities, necessitating travel across all 11 boroughs to deliver outreach support to clients when needed.
About You:
To be successful as the Finance and Debt Specialist Advisor you will need the below experience and skills:
You will have the ability to encourage user engagement with the service through proactive contact. Maintain project logs and collate data from the logs for Team Managers. Proactively assess the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have. Bring your experience of providing finance, and debt advice and successfully, managing high numbers of calls and/or cases and have a solid understanding (possibly experience) of supporting women who have experienced domestic violence, forced marriage or ‘honour-based violence

We are recruiting for a Senior People Advisor on a fixed term contract basis to join a well known non-profit organisation based in London. You will be providing vital HR support to an ongoing and far reaching change programme. We’re Railway Children, an international charity working to create long-lasting change for street-connected children and young people in the UK, India and Tanzania. About the role
We are looking for 1 Youth Practitioner for our London Project. Please note we are keen to receive pplications from cadidates living in Lewisham, Greenwich and Croydon.
As a Youth Practitioner, you’ll play a key role in keeping children safe from harm and supporting them and their families on a path to a brighter future. You’ll be part of a dynamic team delivering Railway Children’s programme in the UK, in partnership with British Transport Police (BTP).
Working with other Youth Practitioners in your project area, you will be responsible for supporting a number of young people who have been identified as being vulnerable on the transport system. The role will involve working directly with young people and their families to reduce risks, as well as building strong relationships other social care, Police, third sector agencies and local services in the area.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who has worked with vulnerable young people and families, with an in-depth understanding of the issues they face and the impact of trauma. With a relevant qualification in youth work or social care or equivalent experience, you’ll have experience of providing front line support to safeguard some of the most vulnerable young people in the UK. You’ll have the ability to engage young people, their parents or carers within the community and deliver direct support to address issues within the family unit.

About the Role
Working under the direction, guidance and support of the Area Director you will manage the Warrington supported accommodation service, based over two sites. You will lead a team of 1 Senior Progression Coach, three Progression Coaches and two Night Concierge workers. Your work will be underpinned by the charity’s Endeavour model of assets based, psychologically informed delivery.
You will have responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all clients, volunteers and staff in the service delivering support to 18-25-year-olds who are homeless or at risk of homelessness or been in care of the local authority. You will work closely with commissioners and stakeholder partners in Warrington and ensure that all accommodation is properly maintained and designed to support the client to sustain their tenancy and participate in positive and successful move on.
Key responsibilities include:
· Ensure health and safety for clients, staff, visitors, and volunteers through regular risk assessments and checks.
· Liaise with internal departments like Finance, HR, Fundraising, and others to ensure smooth service operations.
· Manage budgets throughout the year, working with the finance team and Assistant Director.
· Provide high-quality support for young people, ensure effective housing management, and meet KPI targets.
· Build and maintain relationships with commissioners, stakeholders, and service partners.
