We have an exciting opening for someone to join our senior leadership team leading our campaigning work. We need a strategic expert who understands politics, campaigning and how to get the best out of campaigning organisations. The Campaigns Director must maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's financial position, proactively managing budgets and implementing necessary adjustments to ensure organisational health and sustainability.
The Campaigns Director leads the Campaigns department, crafting our plans and supporting the team to execute powerful, people-powered campaigns that shape the country to be fair, respectful and sustainable. They oversee campaign strategy development, as well as teams that execute our plans, run our social media campaigns, and our public/media affairs work, all while ensuring alignment with organisational goals and political positioning.
The Campaigns Director must maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's financial position, proactively managing budgets and implementing necessary adjustments to ensure organisational health and sustainability. They play a critical role in steering the organisation's narrative, tracking campaign progress, and working collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to align campaign objectives and work in progress with other organisational insights and initiatives.

We’re looking for a confident, skilled and personable Digital Project Manager to help us deliver our ambitious roadmap of digital projects.
You’ll lead on the production of digital, creative, UX, campaign and content-based projects. This’ll include everything from leading on the digital and content element of major campaigns and appeals, through to developing new digital and content-based tools to help people live well with MS.
Working within our combined digital and content team, you’ll thrive working with cross-organisational teams to deliver projects on time, to scope and within budget.

Duties and key responsibilities

The Qualifications Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that our qualifications will give fundraisers professional recognition, increased insight, and improved job prospects.
Job Purpose
- Supporting the Director of Operations and working alongside the Professional Development Manager, you will have responsibility for the management of all the Chartered Institute’s existing qualifications.
- You will be responsible for the academic integrity of qualification-related learning products, including responsibility for the assessment and external verification processes.
- You will also be responsible for project managing the rewrite of our Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma qualifications through a team of experienced tutors.
- You will scope the opportunity to deliver a Level 3 and Level 6 qualification for future release, offering modular options for students.
- In addition, you will contribute to our journey to achieving awarding status from Ofqual and work with the Executive Director of Change on the final stage of our chartered status, achieving the power to award Individual chartered status for fundraisers.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide support to potential, current, and future students including advising on suitable courses and qualifications, assessment, and options for their career path.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the Chief Examiner, External Examiner, and qualification tutors in relation to assignments or examinations.
- Attend the annual Exam Board (and qualification faculty training days) supporting the administration as appropriate.
- Be the key point of contact with external partners for the delivery of apprenticeships including Registered Training Providers, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), Ofqual, and the Institute for Apprenticeships.
- Lead on the co-ordination of other continuing professional development activities ensuring alignment with Individual Membership grades.
- Coordinate the assessment and examination processes for all CIOF qualifications.

Role Purpose
The Senior Accountant will be part of the Khalsa Aid Management Team and will report to the CFO. You will provide financial leadership in all financial areas including production of monthly accounts; financial controls; general accounting; budgets; financial planning and analysis; policy management and adherence; compliance; risk; exchange rate management; key business and financial processes; cost management and auditing. Key Responsibilities
Financial & Operational Management
- Preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and metrics; including monthly Business Performance Report, KPI’s, and Management Accounts, Project Aid reporting as well as annual financial reports
- Oversee budgeting, and the implementation of budgets, setting goals.
- Present operational metrics to monitor progress on the efficient spending of KAI Charity Aid funds. Implement a programme of timely corrective actions where necessary thereby implementing best in class practices
- Ensure that financial records and systems are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and are compliant with Charity reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with organisation policies and procedures, a robust controls environment is in place and that approval processes are adhered to
- Manage cash flow and exchange risk including proactive working capital management and accurate cash forecasting
- Direct all financial, project-based, and departmental accounting including foreign operations
- Ensure Management Information Systems are appropriate for internal, external and regulatory requirements

Team Management
- Provide leadership to the Accounts Assistant by providing clear goals and objectives.

You would be joining us at a time when in the middle of last year, we launched our new identity as the Leadership Skills Foundation (previously Sports Leaders UK) alongside a new 5-year ‘Evolve’ strategy. Having navigated the challenges of the pandemic, the organisation has naturally placed an emphasis in recent years on retaining and sustaining the existing relationships we have with the 2,500 organisations (centres) that deliver our programmes.
Looking ahead, with new programmes and partnerships emerging, this role will now play a significant part in helping us expand the network of centres delivering Leadership Skills Foundation programmes and broaden the audiences we reach. Over the next few years, we aim to create an adaptable leadership skill offer that will increase our reach to more young people across, fully establishing the Leadership Skills Foundation as the trusted voice for leadership skills development.
We have ambitions to empower a more diverse range of young people with opportunities to develop essential leadership and life skills, regardless of their background. Having recently secured a strategic partnership with Sport England, this role will play a significant role in activating that programme, leading the co-ordination, engagement and management of local and regional stakeholders to deliver leadership programmes with identified target audiences, groups and individuals.
The role will initially be a fixed term contract (to July 2027) but we aim to secure further funding for the role to extend.

Role summary
Main duties and responsibilities
- Responsibility for co-ordinating, engaging and managing local stakeholders to deliver leadership programmes with identified target audiences, groups and individuals
- Develop a shared understanding of the needs and barriers young people in underserved communities face in accessing leadership skill development and volunteering opportunities.
- Provide support to identified local delivery stakeholders to address and overcome these barriers to engage the target audiences.
- Identify and co-ordinate work with local delivery partners to create and activate local delivery area plans
- With support, develop and oversee the process and distribution of agreed programme delivery funding to local delivery partners
- Deliver training, support and orientation to local delivery partners
- Support identified stakeholders to test adapted leadership skill development programmes and learn from the delivery to inform future delivery.
- Establish a delivery feedback loop to inform the development of learning resources and programmes to overcome the needs and barriers young people in underserved communities face
- Provide opportunities for the research plan, developed by the Programme Delivery Research Team, to be implemented to drive the improvement of strategic, business and operational planning and delivery
- Provide connectivity between your work/engagement with delivery centres and the work of the Business and Market Development Teams
- Capture and share best practice to support the wider adoption across community and partner networks
- Work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to successfully influence and deliver agreed programme objectives and key results

SV 2 has been supporting victims and survivors of sexual abuse since 1994, and today provides a range of services to anyone in Derbyshire or Derby City who has experienced sexual abuse, assault or violence, including friends and family members. We support people irrespective of age, gender or when the abuse occurred.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Therapy Delivery Manager to join our friendly, professional and passionate team, working across Derbyshire remotely and in person. You'll manage our BACP accredited therapy service, which provides therapy for people of all ages, delivered by a team of employed therapists and a pool of self-employed counsellors.
You might be the right person for the role if you have:
- Management qualification minimum level 4
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in managing and supporting staff to deliver services effectively
- A proven track record working in a quality assurance role including data collection, analysis and problem solving
- Knowledge, experience and awareness of rape and sexual abuse and their effects
- Brilliant communication skills including an ability to provide effective feedback, negotiate well and work with others, including funders
- Full driving licence and ability to travel across the county on a regular basis

The Role:
As our Supporter Engagement Manager, you will work to ensure that SPANA provides its supporters and external stakeholders with the best-possible experience of the charity. While line-managing the Supporter Engagement team, your work will range from ensuring SPANA donations and post are compliantly processed, to
co-ordinating responses to enquiries, comments and complaints via post, phone and online. You will also manage the development and delivery of SPANA’s community fundraising programme.
This role will suit a dynamic, agile individual who recognises the importance of customer care and has the ambition to build SPANA’s position as a centre of excellence in supporter engagement.
Supporter Engagement
- Ensure all donations and enquiries are acknowledged appropriately, professionally and within agreed timeframes/our service level agreement, in order to maximise supporter and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Manage the operation of SPANA’s PO Box and London mailing points, ensuring all post is compliantly processed, recorded and scanned.
- Manage the SPANA FAQs, standard enquiry responses and thank you letters to be used by the team.
- Personally handle complaints and any sensitive matters, working with the Head of Supporter Engagement and Database, and the Director of Global Fundraising, Marketing and Communications, as necessary.
- Create and maintain Supporter Engagement process documents and training guides.
- Ensure all Supporter Engagement team interactions with stakeholders are captured on Raiser’s Edge.
- Ensure all donors, supporters and stakeholders have the best-possible experience in every interaction with SPANA.
Community fundraising
- Manage the development and delivery of SPANA’s community fundraising programme, including our current products World Tea Party and Big Knit.
- Ensure the charity meets or exceeds its annual community fundraising income target, whilst managing relevant expenditure.
- Manage the development of community fundraising marketing materials, working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders as necessary.
Management
- Manage the Supporter Engagement team, motivating and developing team members to deliver on objectives and targets.
- Report regularly on the performance of the Supporter Engagement team, compiling key performance figures (e.g. complaints log).
- Manage the workflow of the Supporter Engagement team, ensuring all daily tasks are covered at all times and all team members have a manageable workload.
- Establish good working relationships with our external suppliers, data handlers and agencies, and resolve queries and complaints involving them as necessary.
It should be noted that this job specification and remit may develop over time. The postholder should be happy to adapt and take on new and different tasks within the scope of the role.
Knowledge, Training & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of supporter engagement and customer care policies, process, procedures and programmes.
- Knowledge of community fundraising and supporter events.
- Knowledge of charity fundraising regulations, GDPR and data practices.
- Knowledge of the requirements and expectations of working in the charity sector.
- Knowledge of the animal welfare charity sector (desirable).
Experience
- Experience of working in a supporter engagement role or equivalent, with a track record of developing and maintaining strong and effective relationships with donors, supporters and stakeholders.
- Experience of establishing and development processes and procedures that optimise performance
Skills and Attributes
- Ability to diffuse situations with patience and diplomacy, to be a problem solver and to show sensitivity when required – e.g. when dealing with the bereaved in relation to in-memory gifts.
- Excellent computer skills, including ability to use Microsoft Office 365 suite, including strong Excel and Word skills.
- Database skills, preferably of Raiser’s Edge.
- French speaking (desirable).
