The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Client Services Team which operates within HBF’s vibrant, multi-disciplinary team. The duties of Client Services Administrator are two-fold 1) is to host our busy reception area and friendly waiting room; welcome clients and visiting professionals to the Helen Bamber Foundation and attend to any needs they might have and 2) to oversee the booking of appointments between clients and staff/volunteers across the organisation; liaising with third parties and clinicians in relation to Initial Assessments; booking and managing doctor’s diaries for our Medical Advisory Services and the booking of interpreters across the organisation. You will be at the heart of an exciting team of experts, working as the face of HBF and the first point of contact for both external and internal queries. You will be a self-motivating team player, organised, efficient and have a compassionate mind-set.
The role will work closely with the other person in post as Client Services Administrator and jointly manage the workload. The role also includes assistance and general facilities support to the Senior Operations and HR Coordinator.

What you’ll be doing:
The successful Director of Philanthropy will represent Our Future Health at pitches, fundraising events and meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Lead the planning and management of High Value income streams as well taking a proactive role in fundraising high value gifts from Trusts & Foundations, Corporate Partnerships and Major Donors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, with the Code of Fundraising Practice, and with official guidance issued by the Fundraising Regulator.
- Undertake research and make use of tools to identify potential High Value partners.
- Develop strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement the philanthropy strategy.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value donors, ensuring effective solicitation, stewardship, and follow-up to secure significant contributions (six-seven figure gifts). You will lead on prospecting, stewarding, maintaining, and uplifting a portfolio of major donors.
- Build a portfolio of corporate partners, including securing high-value Charity Of The Year partnerships. You will work with the Our Future Health team to grow this income stream from prospecting, approaches, applications, pitches, stewardship and providing account management.
- Build and maintain a portfolio of Trusts & Foundation supporters. Responsible for researching, approaching and developing compelling applications with a focus on ensuring Trusts & Foundations provide a long-term, diverse and sustainable income stream.
- Work closely with colleagues in the Communications Team to write and design compelling cases for support that are tailored to our High Value prospects and partnerships grounded in our branding and communications toolkit.
- Produce regular reports on fundraising activity for the Executive Team and Board, analysing performance against targets, and identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Develop and deliver effective stewardship journeys and ensuring they are tracked and implemented across High Value giving.
- Contribute to the delivery of effective and efficient governance structures to support Our Future Health’s strategic partnerships, where required.
- Participate actively in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights to enhance team performance and collaboration.
Requirements:

What will I be doing?
- Compile and draft programme documentation for internal review, including preparing quarterly and annual progress reports, as well as monthly updates for donors.
- Support the Project Manager in monitoring reporting updates from Chapter partners across West and North Africa, and providing Chapter partners programmatic support as needed.
- Assist team members in identifying, tracking, and reporting on results across international programmes, ensuring all information is accurately compiled and stored in a designated location.
- Work flexibly to maintain the efficient delivery of team priorities by undertaking tasks under the guidance of team members/leads, such as supporting where needed with recruitment and onboarding, organising team meetings, and other ad-hoc programme requirements.

Is the job for me?

About the role

Role: In Memory Executive/Junior Consultant

In Memory Giving is an important and sensitive area of hospice fundraising that generates on average £200k of income for Trinity each year. The promotion of our specialist fundraising products and events to the family and friends of deceased patients requires maturity and emotional intelligence. Our In Memory supporters are often loyal long-term supporters who engage with us across many income channels and can become ambassadors for the Hospice and hospice care in general.
In this role you will help families remember and celebrate their loved-ones whilst raising money for the next family that needs Trinity’s care. The In Memory Executive will steward relationships with bereaved family and friends through in-person meetings and written and digital correspondence. They will support them to raise money for the Hospice through their own events and activities that feed into Tribute Funds. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Fundraising and have support from other resources from within the Fundraising team as required. They will promote and manage our various In Memory products (funeral collections, memory tree, tribute funds, etc) whilst identifying opportunities to improve or introduce new products in collaboration with the Head of Fundraising.

How Will you Make a Difference?
The Executive Assistant (EA) will provide high-level administrative support to Amna’s CEO, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board of Trustees.
