About this role:
Reporting to the Deputy CEO, the Communications and Policy Manager will support SIB’s track record of sector, government and media engagement, notably the high standard of publication set through its media partnerships with Tortoise and the Financial Times, its contributions to the policy landscape in the social sector, and its in-house data analysis and insight generation. This new post will contribute to SIB’s ongoing communications and policy work and its reach and influence.
Key responsibilities
1. Support the delivery of a comprehensive plan for our communications and policy activity, combining ongoing promotional communications, specific activities for funds and programmes, and proactively generated content and opportunities to influence
2. Co-ordinating with SIB partners in developing and delivering communication work, on major projects such as the Youth Investment Fund, the Recovery Loan Fund and the Enterprise Development Programme; ensuring that it is powered by data and customer insight of the highest quality
3. Keeping track of policy developments in areas of strategic importance to SIB, notably in social investment, youth, community energy and infrastructure investment. Writing briefings on key policy developments related to SIB’s strategic priorities, proactively identifying opportunities to further our policy agenda; also researching and preparing responses for relevant external consultations, using SIB data and evidence
4. Identifying, cultivating and maintaining relationships and partnerships with key policy, research and communications stakeholders
5. Attending and providing oversight to the Social Investment Forum, as part of SIB’s secretariat and hosting
6. Writing, editing and producing engaging and relevant content at pace for web, social media and e-newsletters, as well as earned and paid channels
7. Management of any external suppliers of communications and policy activities, including agencies, designers, consultants and think tanks
8. Working with the Marketing Manager, Marketing and Events Coordinator, Business Development Manager and wider team to deliver successful external events with customers, stakeholders and partners including attendance at Party Conferences.

- Significant experience at a managerial level in a PR, marketing, external affairs or communications role

The Role
The Supporter Journey Team is responsible for delivering world-class behavioural journeys for our charity partners.
You will ensure that we are continuously providing the best supporter journeys in the sector by designing, building, delivering and optimising omni-channel behavioural journeys at scale, in turn delivering value to our clients.
Working across both Social Mind and Social Sync, you will join an existing team reporting into our Campaign Manager and you will ensure all our charity partners and their supporters receive personal, bespoke communications to maximise fundraising for our charity partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development:
- Develop comprehensive, integrated journeys for supporters across multiple channels.
- Ensure these journeys are behavioural and provide a great stewardship experience for supporters.
- Performance Analysis:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of supporter journeys.
- Analyse key metrics to assess the contribution of these journeys to overall goals, for example, email open and click through rates.
- Optimisation and Supporter Experience:
- Identify areas for improvement within existing journeys.
- Propose and implement enhancements based on testing and learning outcomes.
- React to key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint opportunities for journey improvements to help drive campaign performance and income.

Skills and Knowledge
- Experience of designing, creating and delivering outstanding supporter experiences that increase engagement, fundraising rates and average value.

- Ability to analyse data and make recommendations that improve fundraising and the supporter experience.

About the Role
Reporting to the Deputy CEO this is an exciting role supporting one of the UK’s leading social investors.

Role overview
The Data and Insight Manager will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating quality and impact across our mentoring programmes. The postholder will work closely with our Programme Managers to build evaluation frameworks that reflect our partners’ objectives and support the delivery team to plan projects that deliver on the partners’ target outcomes. The postholder will lead on analysing end of project survey data, drawing insights and recommendations and using these to write and deliver end of project evaluation reports. The Data and Insight Manager will monitor impact and outcomes across our portfolio and support our Senior Leadership Team to understand the impact our projects are having across our mentoring portfolio. This is a varied role, suited to candidates interested in using data and insights to improve processes and articulate impact to a wide range of audiences.
Responsible for
- Creating evaluation frameworks for our projects based on logic modules, ensuring our mentoring delivery is outcomes-driven
- Collaborating with the programme delivery team to ensure partner aims are embedded in evaluation frameworks alongside our organisational Theory of Change
- Creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards to oversee end of programme and termly impact data
- Sharing start of programme data with the delivery team to encourage in-project changes based on findings
- Analysing quantitative and qualitative data to use in evaluation reports and to support wider organisational activity
- Writing end-of-project evaluation reports, using data to make recommendations
- Overseeing the efficiency and accuracy of our data collection tools
- Proofing and testing evaluation surveys to ensure accuracy of questions and survey logic
- Reviewing and improving our evaluation planning and reporting templates as appropriate (including focus group templates and documentation)
- Delivering focus groups and/or interviews as required by project evaluations or wider organisational impact reporting
- Termly data analysis of outcomes across our portfolio to track impact progress
- Working with the fundraising team, using our data and case studies to bring our impact to life
- Using our significant qualitative and quantitative data to explore hypotheses
- Identifying patterns or results that help us to understand our impact and key drivers to ensure a high-quality experience for our mentees and mentors
Accountable for
- Evaluation processes – embedding systems to collect essential information and context from the programmes team for writing evaluation reports
- Embedding learning – ensuring that there are systems in place for project learning to be captured in future project plans
- Accurate data collection – ensuring that all surveys are set-up correctly and that data is gathered accurately
Team working
- You will be line managed by the Senior Programme Manager
- You will work closely with the programmes team to gather partner aims and objectives to support evaluation frameworks and reports
- You will work closely with the fundraising team to support their work in communicating our impact
Essential criteria
To be successful in this role, you should:

JOB PURPOSE
The newly formed Impact and Insights Team exist to provide research, insights and evidence; helping Magic Breakfast to achieve our mission of ending child morning hunger now and for good. The Evaluation Manager is key role within the Impact and Insights Team, responsible for evaluating the service delivery programme at Magic Breakfast – this includes evaluating new pilot approaches, assessing the impact, driving continuous improvement and shaping our offer enabling us to tackle child morning hunger today.
The Evaluation Manager is pivotal in spearheading the strategic planning, delivery and dissemination of Magic Breakfast’s day-to-day evaluation activity, as part of the wider Impact and Insights Team’s approach to communicating research, evaluation and insights. They will hold responsibility for planning, coordinating and delivering a comprehensive programme of evaluation projects to support evaluation and impact measurement, continuous improvement, business development and communication. Our ideal candidate for this role will have experience in social research or programme evaluation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and manage a comprehensive programme of evaluation across Magic Breakfast’s provision.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and funders to develop and deliver an effective, achievable evaluation plan that will make a difference for children and young people.

Purpose of the job/About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Insights and Evaluation team at Dementia UK supporting the organisation to build the evidence base for Admiral Nursing through collecting and sharing evidence on the effectiveness of the Admiral Nursing model.
As the Insights and Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the team’s systems and folders, ensuring they remain organised and up-to-date. You will act as the main point of contact for enquiries within the team and manage the team’s email inbox. Additionally, you will coordinate meetings and projects, providing essential administrative support.
You will also be involved in coordinating data collection processes and assisting with the team’s survey functions. This will include supporting basic analysis of evaluation data and contributing to the production of reports and other key documents.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience in providing administrative support, including managing shared folders and systems. Strong organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise and handle a diverse range of responsibilities independently. You should also possess solid IT skills, including proficiency in common software packages like MS Office, and some experience using Excel for basic data analysis.

Role overview
The Senior Programme Manager will lead our delivery team and work closely with the Partnership Manager to ensure that we’re designing and delivering mentoring projects that meet our partner objectives. The postholder will line-manage key staff in the delivery team, delegate programme activity and oversee quality across our portfolio. The postholder will be accountable for engagement across our portfolio and for ensuring we meet targets and key performance indicators set by our partners for project outcomes.
The postholder will also lead the delivery of Brightside Mentoring, our London based mentoring project that’s currently funded until 31 December 2025. This will involve leading the ongoing design of the project as we learn from each cohort, recruiting young people to take part from across our London networks and reporting to the funder on project progress. Our ideal candidate will therefore be based in or around London, as frequent travel will be required.
Responsible for (our partner portfolio)
- Overseeing project deliverables across our portfolio, ensuring tasks are delegated across the team and that deadlines are met
- Chairing weekly delivery team meetings to stay on top of project launches, delivery updates and upcoming evaluations

Location: Hybrid (split between home-working and one of our offices - based in London, Cardiff or Edinburgh)
Salary on appointment: £41,400 - £45,540 per annum*
*This role sits within a pay grade with a pay range of £41,400 to £62,100. The salary on appointment will be set at the lower end of the pay range, to a maximum of 10% above the base salary, depending on the candidate's skills and experience. This approach aims to ensure fair compensation for new hires while maintaining alignment with the structured pay scale for the role.

Through our refreshed strategy, we’ll build on this experience and grow our impact through activities that prioritise the needs of communities who have the least access and face the most barriers walking outside in nature.
Purpose of Role
The Strategic Campaigns Manager will lead the development and execution of impactful campaigns to elevate Ramblers' profile, political influence, and engagement across England, Scotland, and Wales. Working closely with Directors, Policy & Public Affairs Managers, and the Communications team, this role is pivotal in advancing our advocacy goals and expanding supporter engagement.
The role will position Ramblers as the foremost authority on walking and access and a respected political influencer.
This position plays a crucial role in influencing public perception and achieving business outcomes through strategic communication and marketing efforts. The role holder will focus on developing campaigns that unite issues that affect the whole of GB turning political advocacy into engaging and powerful campaigns. They will also support the broader communications team to implement locally focused advocacy and public affairs campaigns for England, Scotland or Wales where appropriate
Key responsibilities
Campaign strategy development:
- Design and execute integrated strategic campaigns that support our shared public affairs objectives across England, Scotland & Wales to deliver meaningful impact against a common change agenda
- In collaboration with colleagues, identify key issues and opportunities for advocacy, fundraising, and membership growth including where appropriate commissioning research that will create campaign engagement by addressing evidence gaps and opportunities
Campaign management:
- Work closely with the broader communications team to develop strategically aligned messaging and campaign assets and to deliver these across owned, earned and (where relevant) paid channels.
- Lead on the creation of compelling campaign assets (e.g. reports, polls, toolkits) to ensure our message reaches a wide audience.
- Project manage campaigns including managing timeframes and budgets, mobilising other teams, seeking collaboration opportunities with external partners, setting and measuring KPIs
Cross-functional collaboration:
- Work closely with membership, and fundraising teams to integrate campaign efforts. Support Policy & Public Affairs colleagues to develop impactful policy briefings, position papers and fact sheets.
- Support the broader communications team to implement strategically aligned locally focused advocacy and public affairs campaigns for England, Scotland or Wales where appropriate
- Collaborate with volunteers, supporters, and stakeholders to amplify campaign reach and impact.
Data analysis and reporting:
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance using key metrics and data insights.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommendations to inform future campaigns and strategies.
Advocacy and public relations:
- As required and agreed with colleagues, represent the Ramblers in public forums, media, and with key stakeholders to advance campaign objectives.
Budget management:
- Manage campaign budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Track expenditures and report on budgetary outcomes.
Innovation and improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Implement feedback and lessons learned to refine and improve campaign strategies.

- Undertake such other duties as may be required of the post.
- Engage and proactively develop excellent working relationships across the organisation.

The Person
Knowledge and Experience
- Ability to develop and implement effective campaign strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Proven experience in managing and executing successful paid and no cost/low-cost campaigns, preferably within a non-profit or advocacy/campaigning organization.
- Strong skills in creating engaging content across various media platforms.
- Proficiency in analysing campaign performance data and deriving actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and public relations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong organisational skills with experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial planning for campaigns.
- Experience of working with the media to support campaign objectives.
- Good knowledge of the workings of national, local and devolved governments
- Experience of working with volunteers in a policy and advocacy context

REMAP is a unique national charity. It brings together two groups of people: volunteers skilled at making things and disabled people who need specialist equipment. Each year, around 3,000 pieces of custom-made equipment help transform the lives of disabled people.
REMAP’s army of ingenious inventors designs and makes equipment for young and old alike and then provides it free of charge. The aim is always to help people achieve quality of life, filling the gap where no suitable equipment is available commercially.

The Role
The Referrals Officer role is critical to the charity. It ensures that our referral process is managed effectively for our clients and branches.
This is both an internal and external role. The person in this role is the first point of contact for all referral queries. You will assign referrals to branches, liaise with clients and volunteers, and maintain our CRM system.
We seek a strong people person with at least two years of experience operating a CRM system regularly (ideally Salesforce). Experience working to develop a CRM system and client journey would be advantageous.
As a small charity, you will thrive in a busy environment, have excellent prioritisation skills and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude. We are a supportive team, and you will work closely with our Operations Manager and wider volunteer delivery colleagues to help REMAP support our clients and branches across the UK.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience in a similar position and be comfortable working with a diverse range of volunteers/people. As a self-starter, you can work at pace and quickly assess and deliver to changing priorities in a busy remote team. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to coordinate multiple tasks/activities and have the flexibility to respond to changing demands. Ideally, you will have experience dealing with enquiries from health professionals and vulnerable clients.
You will be proactive, enthusiastic, and excited about joining an organisation with ambitious plans to future-proof its services and reach more disabled people. Experience working in a remote environment is highly desirable.
Additional information about the role
Place of work: Fully remote, with occasional 2/3 nights away for year-round events.
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Salary: £26,000 – £29,000 dependent on experience
Holiday entitlement: It begins at 25 days per annum, in addition to public holidays and the Christmas stand-down.
