About the post
The post is currently funded until 31st March 2026 with a possibility of further extension. You will be one of two Team Leaders supporting the Service Manager to implement a trauma informed approach to delivering refuge services.

You’ll have a ‘can-do’ approach and demonstrable commitment to nia’s approach to prioritising women, upholding and promoting feminist, trauma-informed and anti-racist practice.

Purpose of Role
The People Advisor role will pay a pivotal role in delivering the People Plan at the Ramblers and creating a truly great place to work.
The role holder will support projects, activities and administration related across the whole employee life cycle at the Ramblers – actively engaging in the attraction, recruitment, development and retention of talent.
The role will also support the delivery of our business outcomes through a data-led approach to people decision-making.
Key responsibilities
Lead on all People processes, and administration required to maintain a high performing People team.
Proactively manage all data in our People systems, ensuring complete accuracy
Providing first line advice to employees on general people policies and queries and escalate complex issues to the Head of People Experience
Support People projects that drive the delivery of our strategic ambitions
Recruitment and Onboarding
Management of our application tracking platform to attract key talent

Deliver a great recruitment experience in conjunction with key stakeholders across the Ramblers.

Performance Management and Development
Facilitate the processing of probationary reviews in a timely manner, including the completion of required documentation.
Support managers and staff with our Performance Management and Development process.
Ensure compliance training has been completed in a timely manner.
Liaise with external providers to co-ordinate the delivery of the Rambles training and development plan.
Management of our learning platform

Support the co-ordination of our staff surveys and action plans.

Contractual
Ensure all absence management is managed in a timely manner, recorded appropriately on the People system and associated documentation has been completed.
Ensure contractual changes are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Responsible for the collation, preparation and checking of payroll information not limited to all new starter/ leaver information, pay changes, position changes etc, for submission to payroll for processing.
Maintain good knowledge and understanding of all relevant policies and procedures relevant to the role and keep up to date with employment legislation.

The Estate Officer will ensure the delivery of the regional maintenance programme, comprising routine, periodic, planned and urgent works, and the delivery of time limited maintenance consultancy and estate management projects. Working alongside the Conservation Projects Manager, the post holder will ensure regional estate compliance with CCT policies.
The post holder will be the main contact for all maintenance related matters and will maintain the property management records for the estate, develop volunteer projects and training on maintenance reporting and conservation cleaning and will assist with fundraising.

Here for You is Breast Cancer Now’s personalised referral route to all of our services.
There are 2 roles, both of which are responsible for making initial and follow up calls to primary and secondary breast cancer patients.
We’re expanding our team due to demand and to continue to ensure patients get calls within service level agreements. And to provide timely and trusted information and support to people diagnosed with breast cancer. This involves responding to safeguarding issues, collecting data, and deliver excellent information on the phone.
The role also involves collaborating with colleagues focusing on the Here for You expansion and integration, as well as working with colleagues across the primary services, secondary services and personalised support services. The role also liaises with our Helpline team.
About you
For both of these roles, we’re looking for enthusiasm and people with strong communication skills (especially on the phone) and who have experience of working in a fast-paced and people-facing environment. The right candidates will provide quality phone calls and be willing to adapt and innovate. We’re looking for team players, who understand the importance of co-production and who are motivated by providing information to breast cancer patients. We are seeking a dynamic Family Finding Social Worker or Senior Practitioner wishing to play an active role in the delivery and development of a high-quality family finding service for the London Borough of Hillingdon, for children with a plan for adoption.
The post holder will be one of two professionals responsible for family finding for children with a care plan of adoption within the local area.
The post holder will be part of a small and very supportive team to develop practise and skills in this area. The post holder will also be able to have access resources and services within Hillingdon to support this role and be part of a bigger network of support from colleagues from across the RAA. This role will function as 6 month fixed contract with the possibility of an extension to offer continuity to the children we are family finding for.
