- Format professional, high-quality documents, proof read prior to being sent off for approval.
- Input data and any other relevant information into organisational databases / systems.
- Carrying out general administrative duties such as typing, posting, filing letters and documents.
- Diary management.
- Arranging meetings, including booking of rooms and refreshments, organising agendas and attendees.
- Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time

Action Foundation was established in 2005 to assist asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants in Tyne and Wear. We are looking for a full-time project manager to lead our staff and volunteer teams in the delivery of these streams of support.
You will line manage the Project Officer(s) responsible for different aspect of the service work and support them with the delivery of in-person classes and where required any online classes. As Individual Giving and Appeals Manager, you’ll deliver integrated fundraising campaigns across direct mail, email, and digital channels — helping us grow our individual giving base and strengthen donor loyalty.
Alongside driving individual and regular giving, you’ll help shape a new in-memory giving offer, build our legacy giving programme from the ground up, and grow our Named Funds programme.
Working closely with teams across the charity, you’ll design inspiring donor journeys and stewardship plans. You’ll also use data and insight to refine our approach and ensure every supporter feels truly valued.

Job Summary
The Management Development Advisor will be delivering and implementing innovative training programmes for our employee managers in line with our HEART values. About the Role
- Deliver in-house training, development and upskilling programmes which are aligned to meet organisational and individual needs, including induction, people policy, management development, bespoke development programmes for teams, personal skills and other training activities. You’ll take a blended learning approach, tailoring to different learning needs and styles for staff and managers.
- Collaborate with the People and Culture Leadership team to influence and surface organisational matters, to support the delivery of the People Plan, actively working with the Leadership & Management Development (LMD) Partner in the development of manager and colleague training and development initiatives ad upskilling to respond to management development improvements
- Train, Guide, coach and advise people managers on good people-practise during change and transition, including coaching, facilitation, mentoring, mediation, to support psychological safety, belonging and retention.
- Support and guide managers on managing their people, through the whole employee lifecycle taking a people centric approach.

The successful candidate will have:
