The Directoe of Fundraising and Communiations will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Foundation’s 2023 – 2026 Ready for Business organisational strategy and our ambition to reach one million women entrepreneurs by 2030, significantly scaling income generation and building the Foundation’s profile. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive PA to support the CEO. This is a critical role that requires exceptional administrative and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage complex international travel arrangements, provide governance and Board support, and oversee the CEO’s busy diary. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of handling sensitive information with discretion and working efficiently in a fact paced environment.
Ideally, the candidate should have relevant PA experience, however this is not essential for the role. Candidates with no experience will be considered if they have the relevant qualities of being trustworthy, hard working, eager to learn and have a great attention to detail.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Diary Management:
- Proactively manage the CEO’s diary, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
- Coordinate and prioritise the CEO’s daily activities to ensure efficient use of time.
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts and resolve them with minimal disruption to the CEO’s schedule.
Travel Coordination:
- Organise and manage complex international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas and security provision.
- Prepare detailed travel itineraries, ensuring all logistics are seamlessly coordinated.
- Handle any travel-related issues that may arise, including last-minute changes or emergencies.
- Monitor travellers safety during travel to medium-high risk locations (on-call), with the support of a security company.
Governance and Board Support:
- Provide administrative support for board meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing materials and taking minutes.
- Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for board meetings and other governancerelated activities.
- Manage communication with board members and assist with organisation of board-related events and functions.
Administrative Support:
- Handle correspondence on behalf of the CEO, including emails, phone calls and written communication
- Draft and prepare documents, presentations, and reports as required by the CEO
- Assist in managing the CEO’s expense reports, invoices, and other financial documentation
- Support the CEO in maintaining strong relationships with partners, donors, and other key stakeholders
Confidentiality and discretion:
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity
- Ensure that all communications and documents are managed in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
Knowledge and Skills
- Previous PA experience (preferred but not essential)

The Direct Marketing Manager, Retention, is a newly developed role at the DEC, responsible for shaping and delivering new and existing supporter journeys for DEC individual, community and legacy donors, and leading a programme of improvement across all major contact points between the DEC and the public.
The Direct Marketing Manager, Retention will:
- Contribute to and develop DEC direct marketing strategies, including the refreshing, implementation and analysis of the DEC’s segmentation, to maximise future income and continually improve the retention of individual supporters for future emergency appeals,
- Lead on the production of retention and reporting back materials for individual and community supporters,
- Manage the development and maintenance of specific supporter journeys,

Key responsibilities include:
Strategy and Planning

Fundraising

- Work with permanent and temporary staff at the DEC during appeals to maximise the success of the appeal.

This role is key to advancing corporate accountability, deepening stakeholder engagement, and integrating health as a critical aspect of responsible investment practices. A typical week will see you strategising with investors, refining the financial and moral case for corporate health improvements, leading discussions with major food and beverage companies, and drafting impactful communications to stakeholders. This is an exciting time to join the Charity as it embarks on a new chapter of our strategic objectives in grant giving. We are looking for an Office Manager to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. The Office Manager will be responsible for providing receptionist duties and be the Charity’s first point of contact by telephone and for in person visitors, they will respond to enquiries received by post, telephone, or email, provide office and facilities management support to the Charity staff team, and provide executive assistance and diary management to the Chief Executive. The role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
We want to hear from you if you’re a proactive problem-solver with a knack for keeping things organized and a flair for fostering a positive atmosphere. We are looking for an individual with experience of office management and administration including diary management; excellent organizational skills with experience of managing immediate and long-term deadlines, processing invoices, computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, and Outlook), able to work effectively as part of a team and on own initiative and work calmly under time pressure managing day-today operation.
The role is open to individuals seeking a full time or part time opportunity.

This is an exciting time to join the Charity as it embarks on a new chapter of our strategic objectives in grant giving. The Grants Manager will be responsible for their own portfolio of grants as well as supporting the Grants Directorate with the development and execution of the Charity’s strategic objectives to maximise the benefit of the Charity’s funding.
The Grants Manager will be responsible for end-to-end grant-making; assessing applications, making recommendations and monitoring of a portfolio of grants. The grants will be broad in range from smaller, single year grants under the School Holiday Activity Fund to multi-year, large grants within the Open Grants Programme. The role holder will work closely with other members of the Grants Team, including the Directors, to support learning, develop special initiatives and contribute to the creation of policy and processes. The role will suit someone with previous grant-making experience who is seeking to develop their expertise in place-based grant-making and/or the CYP sector. Given the nature of the existing portfolio, experience of working with cultural organisations and education settings would be a particular benefit.

Main Roles
- To provide advice and casework at OISC Level 2/3 on immigration, nationality and asylum law.
- To provide supervision to Immigration Volunteer
Specific Duties
- Manage a complex caseload across the field of immigration, nationality and asylum law.
- Adhere to casework procedures as outlined in LRMN’s policies, the OISC and / or Solicitors Regulations Authority (SRA) standards and the Advice Quality Standards (AQS).
- Interview and advise clients regarding immigration and asylum law procedure, and practice in a sensitive and professional manner.
- Maintain Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with OISC registration or similar professional body, e.g SRA.
- Keep up to date at all times with changes in the law by reading and attending training events relating to asylum and immigration.
- To maintain accurate and detailed case records of clients for the purpose of continuity of casework, information retrieval and statistical monitoring, using Advice Pro as appropriate and as required by management.
- Advocate on behalf of clients by telephone, letter and email with appropriate agencies.
- Produce reports to meet funder’s and LRMN requirements.
- Work closely with the Immigration Manager and/or external evaluator in gathering data and information to produce accurate monitoring and evaluation reports.
- To assist the LRMN in liaising with its partners, funders and to provide statistical information and updates as required.
- Work closely with the Immigration Manager in reviewing files and ensure that corrective actions are undertaken.
- Provide regular supervision to Iimmigration volunteers.
- Allocate immigration tasks appropriate volunteers’ knowledge and skills.
- Keep records of supervision meetings with immigration volunteers
Other Duties
- To participate in LRMN staff meetings, maintaining a high level of professionalism and contributing skills and knowledge towards best practice for the organisation.
- To develop partnerships and attend external meetings relevant to the work of information and advice in general and immigration in particular.
- To attend supervision and appraisal meetings and other relevant activities.
- To be administratively self-servicing.
- To participate in LRMN staff meetings, maintaining a high level of professionalism and contributing skills and knowledge towards best practice for the organisation.
- Work flexibly as agreed to meet the demands of the service – this may involve weekend and outreach work.

What the job involves
We're looking for a Proposition Development Manager to join a newly created team within our Fundraising directorate. The team have been created to work alongside the high value teams (Philanthropy and Partnerships) to provide them with the highest quality donor research, funding propositions and stewardship materials required to create transformative partnerships with businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and foundations.
As the Proposition Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in this team, supporting our ambitious high value fundraising strategy and the development of Prostate Cancer UK’s first Major Appeal. You'll take the lead in developing the Appeal case for support, and crafting funding propositions. Collaborating closely with our high-value fundraisers, you'll develop bespoke funding propositions ranging from six to seven figures, ensuring they resonate with potential donors.
Your expertise will be central in guiding our high-value teams on creating impactful funding proposals, supported by consistent access to organisational priorities and plans. You'll also establish an 'Information Bank' of materials to support fundraising efforts. Ensuring compliance with data protection regulations, you'll maintain the integrity of our data records in alignment with GDPR and organisational policies.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a fundraiser who understands high value fundraising. You’ll have experience in building compelling cases for support, bids and partnership concepts with major donors, companies, and potentially grant funders. Working in collaboration with our high value fundraisers, Research and Support and Influencing teams to create engaging and bespoke propositions.
You’ll be an excellent communicator, often translating complex and technical information to a range of audiences and stakeholders in multiple formats (e.g. proposals, presentations or web copy). Your exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills will enable you to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
This is a rewarding role where you'll be supporting initiatives to deliver growth in high value fundraising, Philanthropy and Partnerships teams and assist in the development of long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with donors and partners.
