About the role
SSAFA’s Network & Community team, operating across the UK, are proud to announce this role as part of their strategic development plans.
This is a new fundraising opportunity to help provide support for serving personnel, veterans and their families ensuring that no-one battles alone.
Supported by the Statutory Grants Manager, this role is fundamental in developing, supporting and championing new and existing fundraising from health providers and local authorities. The aim is to increase income generation in this area whilst raising SSAFA’s profile within local authorities and health care provision. This initiative will require relationship development and bid writing skills to create effective proposals for support.
SSAFA is entering into an exciting period of strategic development within this proven income stream. If successful, you will be the part of a small team with potential for career development.
There will be an occasional need to travel across the UK and to work evenings and weekends at key events.
About the team
You will join a small, established and dedicated team who cover the whole of the UK. With regular team meetings and a variety of communication mediums you will be given ongoing support, training and mentoring throughout. We are a remote team and well connected to all colleagues. This supports and drives our determination and success.

A natural communicator with proven success with bid writing and presentation skills. Summary of Role
We are looking for highly motivated and organised individual to deliver our accreditation scheme. The role will work with our network of employers, and support new organisations through the accreditation process.
Responsibilities may change over time, but at present your day-to-day activities will include:

Growing the Living Wage movement in the East Midlands. You will have remote support from a Senior Manager.

Provide administrative support to a Programme Manager in an additional region (currently East London).

Support one of our additional projects or schemes (such as our Recognised Service Providers, Living Hours, Living Pensions, Global Living Wage or Living Wage Funders)

Additional responsibilities, such as: Working closely with colleagues across the Living Wage Foundation and Citizens UK, develop resources, facilitate meetings, coordinate events, represent LWF externally, contribute to our strategy, develop our policy, and prioritise your training and personal development.
Main Responsibilities
Living Wage Accreditation

Support potential Living Wage Employers through the accreditation process, from dealing with initial enquiries to checking and processing their accreditation.

Deliver a high-quality experience to accredited employers in your region and build strong relationships. Encourage employers to be advocates and engage with our additional schemes and campaigns.

With help from the wider team, develop plans and build strategic relationships to grow the number of accreditations in your region.

Review and monitor Living Wage policy issues and communicate these through internal and external facing guidance.
Project Support

Provide support to projects which grow Living Wage accreditations and improve the quality of service offered.

Engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to further project goals

Support the growth and development of new and existing Living Wage schemes such as Recognised Service Providers, Living Wage Funders, Living Wage Places, Living Hours, Global Living Wage.
Administration

Respond to telephone and web-based enquiries by providing advice and guidance to employers and supporters.

Provide administrative support for all aspects of the accreditation journey.

Manage and keep information up to date on our administrative systems, including the Salesforce database of employers.

Support the maintenance of our systems to ensure efficient processes

Develop reports to enable effective monitoring and evaluation of our impact and progress against plans.

Coordinate and administrate steering, advisory or leadership groups as required, including coordinating agendas, sending out timely papers, taking minutes and following up on actions.
Events and Communications

Plan and organise events to celebrate and grow our network of Living Wage Employers, including playing an active role in the delivery of Living Wage Week and assisting other members of the team with event logistics.

Represent and speak on behalf of the Living Wage Foundation at internal and external meetings and events.

Develop or feed into employer resources including marketing materials, blogs, reports, templates and guides.
General

Work with Citizens UK Community Organisers, members and leaders to promote civic engagement with and ownership of the Living Wage campaign.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
The Membership & CRM Administrator will support and expand the growing network of individuals and organisations that are members of the Nursing Now Challenge network. This role is vital to optimise member experience and enhance the value and impact of the Nursing Now Challenge, which is dedicated to championing leadership development for student and early-career nurses and midwives. The main purpose of this role is to manage the Nursing Now Challenge membership database, using existing CRM tools and software, and ensure positive and proactive engagement with members of the Nursing Now Challenge network as well as its existing and prospective collaborators. The successful candidate will also be required to manage the day-to-day administrative tasks associated with the running of the Nursing Now Challenge. They will also be responsible for the project management of various workstreams.
- Oversee the registration process for new members, guiding them through the onboarding process and ensuring alignment with programme requirements.
- Track and report on member engagement metrics, leveraging data insights to drive retention, satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive, weekly reports that provide insights into membership growth and development.

Stargardt's Connected is a unique award-winning charity supporting those with the rare sight loss condition Stargardt's Disease. Our mission is raising awareness, giving support and seeking a cure. The following are the range of duties you will be asked to contribute to and would be undertaken dependent on priorities and capacity.
● Manage the Charity’s email inboxes, responding to communications from the Stargardt’s Community, volunteers, external partners, and third parties. Triage messages, escalate to the CEO when necessary, and develop responses with appropriate signposting to information and support.
● Represent the Charity at various in-person events alongside the CEO, including Stargardt’s Connected events (e.g. annual conference, summer picnic) and external events (e.g., Sight Village, fundraising events, other sight loss charity events).
● Assist the CEO in developing content for presentations, articles, and resources for the Charity.
● Co-ordinate the development and dissemination of the Stargardt’s Connected e-newsletter via Mailchimp, collaborating with the CEO to gather and create content.
● Co-ordinate the Charity’s social media channels (X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn), ensuring timely posting of news and updates, building a following, and responding to comments and direct messages, escalating to the CEO as needed.

Essential Criteria:
- CIH Level 4 qualification in Housing or degree in a related discipline (e.g., Housing, Property Management, Social Policy) OR A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in a housing-related role with a commitment to obtaining a CIH Level 4 qualification within an agreed timeframe.
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the operation and regulation of the private rented sector in Northern Ireland, including landlord responsibilities and tenant rights.
- Show a strong understanding of housing supply and availability in Northern Ireland, particularly in relation to social housing, the private rented sector, and people at risk of homelessness. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders.
- Hold a full, clean driving licence (or alternative means of travel if a disability prevents driving), as regular travel across Northern Ireland will be essential.
Desirable Criteria:
- A Level 5 or above CIH qualification in Housing or a postgraduate degree in a related field such as Property Management, Housing Policy, or Social Work.
- Previous experience working with individuals at risk of or transitioning out of homelessness, particularly in a supported housing or tenancy sustainment role.
- Familiarity with social housing allocation systems in Northern Ireland, including the Common Selection Scheme.
- Familiarity with housing or property management systems and strong IT skills for record-keeping and reporting.

The Role
The Grants and Funding Manager will utilise Grant Finder and other resources to identify funding opportunities for BIAZA and its members and provide strategic advice on diversifying income streams.
Key Responsibilities
· Grant Research and Identification:

Desirable:
- Knowledge of the zoo and aquarium sector is a plus.
This role will be mainly home based, however, travel to London for meetings may be required. There may also be a requirement to visit members and attend seminars, conferences and networking events around the UK and Ireland. These may occur in the evenings or at weekends.
This is a part-time, one-year fixed term role contracted at 0.2FTE, with the possibility of extension. Flexible working arrangements are available. The hours do not need to be confined to a single day each week and can be distributed in a pattern that suits both the candidate and the organisation. The full time equivalent (FTE) salary for this role is up to £40,000 depending on experience, which equates to £8,000 for this part-time role. The FTE leave entitlement is 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, for this role the leave entitlement will be 5 days, plus a pro-rata share of bank holidays.

The role of the Head of Fundraising is to raise funds and awareness of the work of Kids Club Kampala through developing and implementing the fundraising strategy of the charity. We have grown significantly in recent years, both in impact and income.
Our current income is a mix of grant funding, individual giving and community fundraising. The Head of Fundraising will build on our strengths and successes in these areas, whilst also developing new income streams – namely major donor income, corporate partnerships and fundraising appeals. They will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Board of Trustees and the CEO, leading the Fundraising Team to meet or exceed ambitious fundraising targets; building upon existing networks, creating new fundraising partnerships and overseeing effective relationships to increase the income of the charity.

The Global Legal Action Network (GLAN) works with affected communities to pursue innovative legal actions across borders to challenge states and other powerful actors involved in human rights violations and systemic injustice. About this role
We are looking for an engaging and dynamic fundraising specialist and team player with a proven track record of income generation, to take on this exciting new role at this exciting point of our organisational growth.
Across the last two years, EduSpots has significantly grown its income, and significantly advanced the quality, scope and reach of its operations in Ghana, with further plans for expansion in the years ahead. You're a seasoned philanthropy professional with a proven track record of exceeding income targets and securing significant donations from trusts & foundations and high-net-worth individuals. Your passion for animal welfare is infectious, translating into building strong, lasting relationships with donors. As a strategic thinker, you possess a deep understanding of portfolio management, the supporter journey, and the key elements that drive successful philanthropy fundraising.
A natural communicator, you can connect with any audience, adapting your message to resonate with different stakeholders. Your collaborative and inspiring leadership style fosters a team environment where everyone thrives and celebrates shared successes.

Knowledge, skills, and experience

Secured five to six-figure donations through mid-value & major gift fundraising.

Understand the requirements of trusts and foundations and can write high quality funding applications.

Designed successful stewardship programs for mid-high value donors, boosting loyalty & donations.

Professionally presented philanthropic opportunities to high-net-worth individuals.

Built strong relationships with senior stakeholders (internal & external).

Proven track record of exceeding fundraising goals.

Line management experience.

Excellent interpersonal skills

Driver's license & travel availability.

Ability to demonstrate, understand and apply our Blue Cross values.
A bonus if you have:

Experience managing a mid-value individual giving programme.

A fundraising qualification or evidence of CPD (Continuing Professional Development).
