Mind's Partnerships Fundraising team - part of the wider fundraising directorate - is responsible for generating income from major donors, charitable trusts and foundations, the statutory and corporate sectors. The Corporate Partnerships team raised £7m+ in 22/23.

The New Corporate Partnerships team is comprised of a head of team, two lead managers, two senior officers, two officers and one assistant.

The New Corporate Partnerships team has been at the forefront of securing some fantastic partnerships for Mind such as, Allianz, Bupa, Co-op, Direct Line, ITV, McLaren Racing, and McVitie's, to name a few. Our partnerships cover the spectrum of partnership types; strategic and Charity of the Year partnerships (COTYs) and brand and commercial partnerships. You will help us build on our success.

In these unprecedented and challenging times, Mind is and will be needed more than ever. Our corporate partnerships play a huge role by helping us, raise income to achieve our strategic goals and adding value to businesses and society through our partnerships, including raising public awareness and reaching new audiences.

Mind employs over 300 staff and we have a team of volunteers. Most staff are based in Stratford, London, there is an office in Cardiff and there are a number of dispersed staff working across England and Wales. Mind is formally moving to a hybrid working model combining a balance of home and office based working.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

-Support your line manager to implement the Corporate Partnerships team New Partnerships strategy.

-Support pipeline development and creation of partnerships, including making proactive approaches, developing and stewarding relationships, submitting proposals, supporting on pitches, while working with various teams across Mind.

-Have an individual financial target which will support the overall New Partnership income targets.

-Work collaboratively and creatively with the team and across Mind to develop sector leading pitches and proposals.

-Lead and assist with the design of new partnership agreements with companies to ensure that expectations from both parties are met and the interests of Mind are looked after, and risks are mitigated.

-Work with colleagues across Mind to identify the potential and manage the risk in new partnerships, ensuring that Mind's ethical policy and charity legislation is adhered to.

-Work closely with Partnership Management to join up across Partnerships

-Identify and work with your line manager to identify opportunities and manage risk in new partnerships and to ensure that Mind's ethical policy is adhered to.

-Monitor, analyse and review information on industry trends and developments, keeping the pipeline of COTY applications updated.

-Liaise with other Mind departments, Mind Retail, Mind Cymru and local Minds to maximise potential of corporate partnerships to reap benefits for Mind's entire network, including through volunteering and pro bono support.

-Work closely with internal teams across Mind Workplace Wellbeing, Training, Index, Community & Events, Comms and Media teams to ensure that opportunities and employee fundraising opportunities are smoothly co-ordinated and incorporated into pitches and that companies are given the support they need, as required.

-Represent the Partnerships team in appropriate cross working groups, workshops and/or meetings/other events as directed.

-Use the Dynamics database to enter, update and extract accurate information to maximise operational benefits and opportunities from the database system.

-Undertake other duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and grade of this post.

The ideal candidate:

- Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive and outgoing attitude with a confident approach to building and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Effective project management skills, and the ability to manage own workload, working to deadlines as required.
- Experience in the organizing of promotional events, including attendance and facilitation their success
- Understanding of Market research and analysis of findings.

The salary band for this role is £37,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

GDWG has an exciting part-time opportunity to join our team as a fundraiser. In this role you will work with the Director to manage our fundraising portfolio. We are looking for either an experienced fundraiser or someone who is at entry level who is keen to learn on the job.

GDWG is a charity committed to improving the welfare and wellbeing of people who have experienced immigration detention, through offering friendship and support and advocating for fair treatment. We primarily work with people detained at Tinsley House and Brook House Immigration Removal Centres (IRCs) at Gatwick Airport. Our volunteer visitors befriend and make weekly visits to people in detention. Our advocacy project Refugee Tales calls for a future without detention, and works with people who have experienced detention to call for change. 

We require blended working from home and from our office in Crawley. This is a one-year fixed term contract with the likelihood of extension. The role requires someone who can demonstrate a high level of written and organisational skills including meticulous record-keeping in a fast-paced work environment. Fundraising experience with trusts and foundations is preferred.

Background to the role

We are looking for a handyperson to join our team, providing handyperson support through the Havering Energy Doctors project.  The service is funded by the London Borough of Havering.

Job description

Job Purpose

· To support residents of Havering in, or at risk of fuel poverty, by fitting simple energy-efficiency measures in their homes. These measures include putting up curtain poles and thermal curtains, installing radiator reflector panels, draught-proofing, fitting LED light bulbs and damp and moisture damp readers.

· Working as part of our handyperson team you will deliver kind and friendly person-centred services to diverse communities across east London and Essex. You will work with people referred by our community partners, our hospital discharge teams, and wider AUKEL colleagues to help older people remain safe in their homes.

Key Responsibilities

· To install simple energy efficient measures within the home

· To engage with project participants in a positive and constructive way and ensure their needs are met

Employment Details

 Contract type

This contracted post is for 35 hours per week (working day pattern to be decided) and may require some out of hours or weekend work as required.  We welcome application for flexible working including reduced hours and other flexible working arrangements.

Location

The post holder will be mostly based at London Borough of Havering

Salary  Between £28,840 and £31,390 Plus 5% employer pension contribution.

We have recently introduced a salary bands system. This salary range refers to the lowest and top steps of the grade. Salary will progress every year until the top salary is reached.

Holiday entitlement

25 days (pro-rata for contracted hours) of paid holiday per year plus bank holidays. This increases after two years of service to 27 days, and then a further one day per every year of service up to a maximum of 30 days after five years of service. In addition, all employees are entitled to one day off on (or around) their Birthday.

About the Role of Programme Coordinator

Information and Taster Sessions:

• Deliver employability-related workshops. 

• Purchase training equipment and ingredients as needed to support programme activities. 

Transition to Employment: 

• Work with the Employment & Progression team to facilitate a smooth transition for students from the training programme into the Employment & Progression phase. 

• Work collaboratively with the Employment & Progression team and/or other referral partners to identify and/or secure appropriate housing options for graduates.

The Partnerships Coordinator post is an exciting role with Tutor Trust. You will assist the Strategic Partnerships Manager to maintain and build key school relationships and networks contributing to customer retention and business growth.

Full Time Housing First Support Worker – Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 

Working as part of a team that supports their clients, you will keep them safe and help them to achieve their goals. Housing First offers people their own home and gives them intensive support in line with the Housing First principles. You will engage with local authorities, health providers and other agencies, creating and maintaining constructive working relationships to maximise the opportunities available to our clients. 

Previous experience working as a support worker and managing a caseload of clients is essential for this role. 

Full Time Community Support Worker – Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 

Within this role you will be working intensively with homeless clients that have been moved into temporary accommodation, to find them private rented accommodation as quickly as possible. You will help and support individuals by providing advice on housing, welfare benefits, rent deposits and household goods via a variety of schemes.

Previous experience in this type of work is not essential, as full training will be provided, but your values will match ours; you will be committed to helping others and enjoy the real job satisfaction that this brings.

Part Time Outreach Support Worker – 28 hours per week 

You will be working out in the community with people who find themselves rough sleeping so the successful applicant must be comfortable visiting sleep sites. The role involves lone working so you will be comfortable working by yourself and managing a caseload of clients that are in the community or in emergency or temporary accommodation.

Previous experience is also not essential for this role, as full training will be provided.

For all roles it is mandatory that you hold a full driving licence and have the use of a car for business purposes.
