Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead on sexual health for domestic and sexual abuse survivors in Barnet.

We are seeking 2 Specialist ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to join our Advocacy team at Respond. The role includes providing pro-active emotional, practical and advocacy support for adults with learning disabilities and autistic people with complex or multiple needs who have experienced any form of sexual violence and are engaging, (or considering engaging) with the criminal justice system. The ISVA will work across London to provide non-judgmental, trauma-informed emotional support, working in partnership with other London sexual violence support services.

You will have the ability to build trusting relationships, work in an empowering and inclusive way and support clients to heal following sexual abuse and develop coping capacity. Overall purpose
Your primary responsibility will be to lead Breaking Barriers’ employment programme in Birmingham and the West Midlands, and support the Senior Employment Services Manager and Director of Services in ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency in the support we provide to clients.
Working closely with the Senior Employment Services Manager, you will take ownership of delivery within this region and lead on the delivery of the contract, including maintaining effective external stakeholder relationships and providing accurate and timely reporting. You will line manage and support a team of Employment Advisers (“Advisers”), enabling them to provide high-quality support to clients and coordinate the day-to-day operational activity which keeps our programmes running.
You are a highly organised and effective worker who knows when to adopt a creative approach and when to follow the established process. You will have an empathetic manner, be willing to go the extra mile to support clients and be proactive in looking for ways to improve our service. Lived experience would be helpful but is not essential.
In addition to exceptional people skills, you will be a strong communicator and possess meticulous attention to detail. You will be confident working autonomously, helped by excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise and cope with interruptions.
You should have at a demonstrable track record of transferrable work experience in coordinating service delivery, projects or programmes, or another relevant field. Equally important is a demonstrable commitment to working with marginalised populations who face barriers to employment, particularly refugees. You will be the Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) for the organisation and will lead on Property and Procurement.

Founded in 1968, the ACO is the permanent Secretariat for the Instruments of Communion and supports the Anglican Communion in over 165 countries around the world.
The Director of Finance role presents an exciting opportunity to manage and create a finance team that will support the Anglican Communion, whilst also being a key member of the senior management team. You will lead and direct the Anglican Communion’s financial strategy and management, ensure commercial planning, delivery and evaluation in all areas of ACO activity, whilst also providing financial management and administration for two related charities: the Anglican Alliance and the Anglican Centre in Rome.

The role:
- Lead on the development and execution of financial strategy, financial planning, budgeting and cost control for the ACO and related charities.
- Key advisor to the Secretary General, management team and trustees on the overall financial landscape for the ACO and its on-going performance and position.
- Manage and continuously improve the efficient running of financial operations including the preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts, payroll, tax returns, and management of creditors and debtors.
- Ensure that an adequate control framework exists.

- Be vigilant to financial and operational risks and to report and mitigate such risks.
The successful candidate will have:
- Ideally, understanding and knowledge of the UK charity finance environment.
- Experience in budgeting and cost control, including provision of reports and analysis to an audience with different levels of financial literacy.
- Strong financial leadership skills capable of directing financial strategy and delivering highest quality financial management.
