The team support a wide range of activity within student leadership including officer support, societies, student representation, volunteering and campaigns. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a wide range of student leaders to mobilise the community organising model for a particular faculty within the University of Sunderland, harnessing their talent enhancing student skills development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain a variety of skills through being involved in a varied role across different areas of Membership Services at Sunderland Students’ Union.
Over the past year we have undertaken a Democracy and Governance Review to revitalise the way our students interact with their Students’ Union across both the Sunderland and London campuses. The findings of the review have highlighted the need for the SU to make a clear shift from the more traditional styles of SU democracy, facilitating instead, a community organising model.
The post holder will need to demonstrate the essential criteria from the JD/Person specification within their application statement demonstrating previous experience and clear examples.

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Policy and Insight this role is a central part of MSSC understanding its impact and driving change across the youth and maritime sectors.
The Data Analyst leads on the coordination and delivery of organisation wide key performance indicators (KPIs) while working to support the organisation’s wider evaluation and research work. The Data Analyst is embedded into the wider organisation and there are exciting opportunities to support other staff and volunteers to access and use data, as well as understanding how to transform data recommendations into practical change. The role suits a keen analytical thinker, who revels in opportunities to collect and understand data and then see their recommendations bear fruit.
Responsibilities
The following is a list of the principal tasks of the Data Analyst and is not intended to be an exhaustive list:
· To gather correlate, and monitor relevant data from across the organisation (e.g. Westminster) and from external sources (e.g. ONS)
· To evaluate our existing data processes and make recommendations regarding the streamlining of data collection and presentation
· To develop and implement new data collection, and analysis systems and processes where required
· To lead on regular KPI reporting
· To support the head of policy and insight in developing evaluation processes across the organisation
· To support the head of policy and insight, in identifying, and collecting (including leading on elements of research independently) appropriate data for influencing work
· To provide practical upskilling, training, and support to teams and directorates who need to engage in self-serve data analysis and research
· To develop and utilise new ways to present MSSC data to engage key internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
· Experience of handling diverse datasets of varying quality
· Experience of translating findings from a range of different audiences both internal and external
·Understanding of how to process and analyse quantitative data
· Experience of appropriate processes around data security
· Experience of developing processes and procedures to collect and present data
· Experience of training in upscaling non-data experts
· Confidence in engaging with service users where required for data collection and analysis

To collaborate with CSE colleagues in the Research and Analysis team, across CSE and external partners on the following tasks: Create innovative software to answer climate change and energy related questions. To design, plan, develop and test new software. Support and extend existing applications and to use software to help colleagues undertake tasks, including statistical and spatial analyses, and data management.
Pay and conditions
• The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week).
• The salary for the role will be on grade F (£34,788 - £41,669) starting salary will depend on skills and experience.

JOB TITLE: Community Mental Health Key Worker
INTRODUCTION
An exciting opportunity to work with the Islington Core community mental health multidisciplinary/multiagency team, which integrates services across Health, Social Care and the Voluntary & Community Sector.
The North London NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and social care services, across five Boroughs. The Keyworker role will be based within the Islington Core Teams. The Core Team’s vision is to provide integrated and person-centred care and to work together in partnership with primary care, the Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS), social care, communities, service users, their carers and families to support and improve mental and physical health for the whole population through a combination of prevention, supporting people to stay well and responsiveness to changes in need.
The service provides five keyworkers to work across the localities in Islington. Three keyworkers are employed by Age UK Islington and two keyworkers by MIND Islington.
Age UK Islington and Islington MIND are both independent charities, Age UK Islington provides a range of one-to-one personalised support and Islington MIND offer a range of structured and open access mental health interventions including our peer led bespoke projects.

We are looking for a key worker who can:
