Based within our People team, key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the benefits package, through administering benefits provision and communication, and undertaking research to ensure RBL has a competitive and attractive benefits package.
- Undertaking salary benchmarking using a range of survey data, internal comparators and investigation of external markets
- Supporting the annual salary review process, through research, benchmarking etc, assist in the compilation of associated communications
- Undertaking Gender Pay Gap reporting, providing data and insights
- Providing effective reporting, reconciliation, and analysis of reward related data, providing trend analysis and recommendations
- Providing advice and guidance to People colleagues and senior managers on reward and benefit issues
This post is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, Part Time opportunity, working 21 hours per week. Schedule of hours to be agreed between Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.

We are actively recruiting for an Interim Head of HR Operations to join our education client for an initial period of 6 months. Reporting directly to the Director of People and Culture, this role is a key member of the People and Culture leadership team.
You will have lead responsibility for managing the delivery of our Human Resources operational services, ensuring efficient, effective and high quality transactional and recruitment services are delivered across the whole employee lifecycle.
As our interim Head of HR Operations, you will act as our internal expert on pay, reward and HR information systems as well as managing the HR operations team. You will be tasked with researching , developing and implementing reward solutions that support our business, help development of our Recruitment and onboarding and be a lead on HR data using our Core HR system (Midland HR's iTrent and Stonefish) meet organisational and user needs and help ensure that as an organisation we are compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and drive a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with IRRI’s global objectives and enhances organizational effectiveness across its global operations
- Provide visionary leadership for the global HR function, including talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation and benefits, to ensure the institute attracts, develops, and retains top talent. Work with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Head of Productivity, Systems and Innovation to develop the strategy and its process of implementation
- Foster a culture of engagement and continuous improvement, optimizing global resource alignment and organizational structure to support IRRI’s mission
- Oversee the seamless delivery of HR functions across IRRI’s global network, ensuring that HR services and programs are effective and responsive to the needs of diverse geographical locations
- Champion a transparent and efficient talent acquisition strategy to secure the best candidates for IRRI’s diverse and multi-national teams
- Lead the implementation of a performance management system that promotes transparency, accountability, and professional growth, tailored to the global context
- Guide the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits packages that attract and retain top talent, considering regional variations and global standards
- Modernize IRRI’s HR Policies in close coordination with the Head of Policy Development and ensure they’re fit for purpose, adaptive to meet organizational needs and the changing environment in which IRRI operates
- Partner with senior management to identify HR priorities and ensure HR strategies support the institute's mission and vision
- Advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workforce, aligning HR strategies with IRRI’s commitment to equality and global representation.
- Represent IRRI HR interests in the CGIAR People & Culture Community of Practice and associated high level forums through appropriate engagement and influence in system level activities
- Advocate to Leaders and supervisors on the best course of action in resolving sensitive personnel matters and escalated issues
- Champion initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and engagement across all global locations. Develop and implement strategies that improve employee well-being, work-life balance, and overall job satisfaction, tailored to the diverse needs of IRRI’s workforce
- Ensure IRRI’s processes and HR strategy is in sync with the Tripartite HR plans and is aligned with the OneCGIAR Risk Framework
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive onboarding and off-boarding programs that ensure a seamless integration and transition for employees. Ensure these programs are culturally sensitive and aligned with IRRI’s global HR standards
- Align the performance appraisal process with IRRI’s strategic objectives, ensuring that performance evaluations are conducted consistently and fairly across all locations. Foster a culture of accountability and professional growth, using performance data to drive talent development and organizational improvement
- Lead continuous improvement efforts for HR systems and processes. Identify opportunities to streamline HR operations, reduce manual transactions, and enhance the efficiency of HR services. Implement technological solutions that provide real-time data and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in HR leadership, preferably in an international or research-oriented organization

- Strong expertise in talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, and benefits administration
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing HR teams across diverse geographic and cultural backgrounds

About the role:
- With guidance from Senior Employment Lawyer, you will provide support to the HR Advice Team in managing ACAS and Tribunal cases. This includes but is not limited to:
- Managing ACAS early conciliation processes, including securing knowledge of the matter under conciliation, understanding potential claimant expectations, and coordinating with members to provide informed advice on merits and liability, leading to constructive settlement of claims.
- Engaging with ACAS over settlements and drafting COT3 settlement documentation.
- Reviewing new Tribunal claims, identifying legal issues and the necessary steps for an effective defence.
- Liaising with members to gather and verify documentary and verbal evidence, ensuring accurate and comprehensive responses to Tribunal claims.
- Drafting formal responses to Tribunal claims, preparing case management documents for Tribunal preliminary hearings, including agenda forms and draft lists of issues.
- Assisting with advocacy at Tribunal preliminary hearings and preparing document bundles in compliance with case management orders.
- Taking comprehensive witness statements, ensuring they cover all relevant issues and securing timely approval from witnesses for exchange in accordance with Tribunal orders.
- Rigorously monitoring and meeting all Tribunal time limits and orders, and coordinating with witnesses, members, and HR Advice Team members to confirm their availability for hearings.
- Support the team with paid consultancy work, such as conducting investigations into misconduct, interviewing witnesses, collating evidence, and drafting reports.

- Coordinate with our third-party provider the delivery of Health and Safety services to members, including managing updates, arranging seminars and working with the marketing team to promote services.
- Administer various HR-related forums (CEA Directors, HR Operations, Reward, Wellbeing, DEI, Talent, Health and Safety), including scheduling, agenda setting, maintaining member lists, and fostering member engagement.
- Manage the onboarding process for new HR and H&S package subscribers and administer consultancy business terms of engagement.
- Maintain user licenses for Brightmine and WTW reward databases, manage case records on Salesforce and organise the Shared Drive to provide a centralised source of documentation.
About you:

Finance and HR Administrator
Contract: Permanent, full-time (subject to successful completion of a probationary period of three months)
Salary range: £26,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role
We are seeking a full time Finance and HR AdministratorHuma to support timely processing of financial transactions, accurate accounting, consistency of financial records, supporting the year-end close as well as supporting the HR advisor with administrative tasks.
As the Finance and HR Administrator, you will become an integral part of our dedicated team, ensuring the smooth functioning of the HR and financial operations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Accounts receivable: review and issue of sales invoices, processing and uploading, and debt recovery, and follow-up invoicing queries.
- Processing direct debits and credit card expenses.
- Cash and bank reconciliation and updates of bank and deposit balances.
- Recording receipts: subscriptions, legacies, grants, gift aid & investment income.
- Reconciliation of receipts in the financial system and the CRM system.
- Ensuring accurate VAT coding and assist in the preparation of VAT returns.
- Support balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Support for ad hoc general accounting tasks as required.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for employees including handling onboarding communications, HR system setup, stakeholder notifications, and IT ticket requests.
- Maintain and update the HR system, ensuring all employee records are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare internal correspondence and communications as needed.
- Oversee the HR and Finance inboxes, managing enquiries.
- Coordinate internal staff training sessions, ensuring smooth scheduling and communication.
- Maintain personnel files and general HR record-keeping.

The postholder will be a key member of the central administration team of the Rank Foundation.
Key Accountabilities
Secretariat support to governance committees:
- Drafting agendas, production and dissemination of papers for Committees and Board meetings to trustees
- Attendance to governance meetings, minute taking, and following up on actions
- Organising RFL annual governance schedule of meetings
- Liaising and acting as point of contact for trustees
- Arranging meetings for Execs and Trustees
- Drafting and issuing comms as needed by the Chair, Trustees and Execs
- Maintaining governance records and register of trustees’ interests up-to date
