We are looking for a full time People Services Coordinator to join our friendly and busy team, providing a range of Recruitment and HR services across Tearfund.
You will be working as part of the People Services team to provide support to our HR Business Partners. You will be involved in arranging recruitment processes from advertising to offer, as well as HR administration over the employee lifecycle. You will also play a key role in providing advice and training to managers and HR staff globally on the recruitment process, and take ownership of the day-to-day usage of Tearfund's recruitment system.
Some previous experience of recruitment/HR is required. You will be an excellent administrator who enjoys working collaboratively, and is able to communicate well with candidates and staff at all levels of the organisation. You should be organised and able to prioritise your own work. The role requires high levels of accuracy, and you will be comfortable producing reports and data, and facilitating training.
This role will primarily support recruitment for our UK-based teams, so knowledge of UK recruitment and excellent written and verbal communication in English is required.

The successful candidate will have:

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director to join RedR and its Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to oversee the efficient and effective functioning of our organisation's key operational areas, including Operations, People Management, Finance, Security and Compliance. The Associate Director will play a pivotal role as part of the SLT in ensuring the smooth implementation of our humanitarian programmes while upholding the highest standards of excellence, accountability, integrity, collaboration and lifelong learning.
You will have a deep understanding of how to deliver programmes in a humanitarian context in a safe, secure and compliant manner. You will enhance delivery through standard operating procedures across the organisation and lead by doing.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Management
You will lead a finance team of 2 (both part-time), responsible for excellent financial management, controls, reporting, budgeting, and auditing (both internal and external) including:
- Maintaining up-to-date financial records, including processing invoices, payments, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, managing cashflow.
- Oversee payroll processing and reimbursement procedures.
- Analysis of financial data and preparation of reports for leadership review.
- Set standards for programme staff on financial budgeting and reporting

- Provide administrative support to the Operations, IT functions of the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive support to the Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO):

• Oversee the management of the CEO Outlook mailbox, dealing with incoming emails, categorising and filing these

meetings. Ensure that time is prioritised effectively and appropriately with reasonable timings and rest periods.
• Work closely with the CEO to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
• Ensure that papers and briefings are given to the CEO for meetings and that any instructions/directions are obtained prior to the meeting.
• Provide timely and relevant information to support decision making and planning, dealing with people at the most senior level both internally and externally and appropriately representing Railway Children at all times.

minuting meetings and circulating papers.
• Support the Head of Safeguarding and Quality Assurance with core policy documents, liaising with the leadership team to
review dates and ensure updated policies are scheduled for approval at Group Board and sub-committee meetings.
• Manage production and circulation of Board papers. Liaise with the leadership team to ensure reports are received to
deadlines, providing editorial inputs to ensure reports are of the highest quality before review by the Chief Executive.
• Proof-read and distribute Board minutes, ensuring timely follow up on any actions.
• Assist the Group Director of People and Culture in the recruitment and rotation processes for Group Board members.
