About the role
As our Senior Digital Experience Manager (Website) will play a leadership role in setting and driving cutting-edge standards for digital content, copywriting assets, and experiences across all owned digital channels. You will be one of three Senior Digital Experience Managers, with a specific focus on managing and improving the performance of our main corporate website to meet both business and user needs, while supporting our multi-disciplinary marketing squads.
You will also support stakeholder teams such as our multi-disciplinary marketing squads develop brilliant user-centric marketing campaigns that drive high quality traffic by advising on UX, journey planning and digital content.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the development and creation of inspiring, engaging, and accurate content and assets across all channels and experiences for a marketing squad.
- Manage and continuously improve the performance of the Save the Children main website to ensure it meets KPIs, especially conversion, and remains up-to-date and compliant.
- Act as the primary organisational contact for website functionality and content.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Product Manager to define and deliver functional improvements to the website.
- Manage third-party and close stakeholder relationships and contracts pertaining to the website.
- Lead the UX across Save the Children digital products & channels, including owned social channels, websites, microsites, and coalition websites when appropriate.
- Be a leading expert on our in-house forms engine, continuously improving the user experience.
- Provide informal training to staff on digital content best practices and systems, including website CMS and social media management tools.
- Ensure that Save the Children digital experiences are accessible and compliant with the latest legislation and best practices.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Solid experience working in a digital marketing/experience capacity, on a B2C website.
- Extensive experience in developing digital content for a range of channels, including social, email, and websites, which follows best practices and is engaging and inspiring for customers/supporters.
- Experience in storytelling within a digital context.
- Knowledge of new digital trends and emerging consumer technology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in developing ideas and informing decision-making.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers effectively.
- Proficiency with digital analytics packages (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
- Experience with various Content Management Systems; Adobe Experience Manager experience is desirable.
- The ability to work to deadlines, have an MVP mindset, be data-driven, creative, and technically adept and endlessly curious. In addition, you will have
- Passionate about digital content and UX, identifying new innovations and helping Save the Children become sector-leading in these areas.
- Significant experience developing digital experiences using best practice user experience design principles.
- Significant experience managing websites at a B2C organisation.

Ways of Working:

Role and Responsibilities
Supporting the wider finance team, you will:
Accounts Payable
- Assume complete ownership of employee expenditure: processing and posting transactions to the accounting system weekly.
- Manage supplier payments, including collecting and processing invoices before posting to the accounting system on a weekly basis.
- Communicate with suppliers and staff regarding expected payment dates of invoices.
- Monitor the payables ledger to ensure invoices are paid on a timely basis.
Accounts Receivable
- Process donations received through various payment methods onto the accounting system.
- Process gift aid claims when appropriate.
Management Accounting
- Post journals to the accounting system as required.
- Assist with the month-end processing and reporting.
- Assist with the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet.
- Maintain appropriate filing and assist in collation of evidence for annual audit.
- Contribute ideas for process and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure the organisation remains compliant with local council requirements.
- Contribute to the office management committee to maintain standards of office tidiness.

Job description
This position fulfils the National Flood Forum’s role as part of the Environment Agency’s Resilience and Innovation Fund FAIR approach to Community Flood Risk project. The project officer will help communities to work in partnership with flood risk management agencies to better manage flooding and its impacts in their area. This will involve working with communities at flood risk and agencies using methodologies developed by the National Flood Forum and used successfully around the country.
We are seeking someone warm and approachable, who will be required to work in Staffordshire and potentially other areas in England & Wales. You will need to be able to engage appropriately and effectively with grass root communities at risk of flooding, as well as professional organisations and have proven project management skills.
Day to day you will work directly with members of the public in communities and liaise closely with external organisations.

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Community Awareness and Engagement Manager to join our Policy and Health Influencing Team and support volunteers raising awareness of prostate cancer in their communities.
Alongside engaging volunteers speaking about their lived experience and hosting information stands, you’ll be delivering our new Lifesaving Conversations programme, giving volunteers the tools and confidence to raise awareness of prostate cancer risk in an informal way.
We use our knowledge to influence and reduce racial health inequalities across the UK and the world to save the lives of men, and more Black men, who are at double the risk of prostate cancer as the general population. You’ll manage the Black health equity engagement team whose main responsibility currently is to increase awareness, trust and engagement with Black communities, requesting volunteers to reflect the increased risk and impact of prostate cancer on Black men.
You’ll develop and manage relationships with key stakeholder groups to deliver a programme of community awareness and engagement around the risk of prostate cancer. You’ll also be providing role specific training to volunteers ensuring they have the tools to reach and engage with men most impacted by prostate cancer.
Collaboration is an important aspect of the role as you partner with Health Services, Equity and Improvement colleagues where Lifesaving Conversations and community awareness volunteers can support strategic objectives. You’ll also work with our Partnerships Team to deliver an income generating corporate awareness offer.
Working closely with the Volunteer Experience Manager, you’ll have input in communications, supporter journeys and developing community networks for volunteers. You’ll evaluate the impact of our work in engagement and awareness to increase our impact.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll get to meet volunteers and supporters and see first-hand the work of Prostate Cancer UK. Together we are supporting and raising awareness of the impact of prostate cancer, providing men with the knowledge of their risk and the power to act on it.
What we want from you
To be successful in this role you’ll have excellent knowledge and experience of leading and managing cross-organisational programmes and projects.
You’ll have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing and be able to adapt to suit your audience from volunteers to health professionals. You’ll also be able to successfully build relationships and feel comfortable with engaging communities and stakeholders.
You’ll work closely with volunteers and keep the end user in mind so have to be able to show previous experience in user involvement, putting customers at the heart of project planning and delivery with a passion for inclusion and accessibility.
Knowledge of, or previous experience in health campaigns and volunteering within the charity sector will be beneficial for this role but we also recognise transferable skills from other sectors. In this role you’ll also be meeting members of the community and their families who have experienced the impact of prostate cancer and empathy, and understanding will be crucial to this role.

The British Academy – the UK’s national body for the humanities and social sciences - is seeking an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager to join our Governance & Fellowship Office, providing key support in the delivery of the Academy’s overall EDI ambitions across all aspects of its work.
The Role
Working closely with the Academy’s senior management and workstream leads within other teams, you will oversee the delivery of the Academy’s ambitious EDI activity and strategy. With experience of supporting and delivering EDI initiatives in similar contexts (HE, research funding, fellowship bodies or the charity sector), you will be responsible for both overseeing current and ongoing EDI activity, as well as initiating new areas of work as needed.
You will need excellent communication skills, to be able to liaise and report internally across all levels but also to provide high-quality external communications and act as an ambassador for the Academy and its work.
You will have up-to-date knowledge of the statutory and best-practice contexts of EDI matters and be able to bring these to inform the Academy’s activity, acting as both internal adviser across Teams and the Fellowship and an ally for staff, researchers and the audiences we serve. You will have an understanding of the specific EDI challenges within the UK HE funding and research sector, and work closely with internal and external partners to develop responses and new initiatives. You will have the opportunity to design and deliver new EDI initiatives, but also to influence our governance and accountability processes to ensure EDI outcomes are measurable and effective. You will play a key role in implementing the Academy’s cross-cutting EDI strategy, and ensuring this is evidence-based and supports our role as a key player in the UK HE and Research landscape.
This post sits within the Governance and Fellowship Office and reports directly to the Head of Fellowship Engagement & Governance. This Team supports the Chief Executive and the President of the British Academy, as well as its executive and strategic committees (Council and Senior Management Team). The Office also provides core Fellowship support, including their biannual meetings, nomination and election processes and a number of Fellowship engagement activities. This means that not only will your EDI activity be embedded across the main governance functions of the Academy, but you will also have the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and decision makers across all of our work.

Background:
First Step Trust (FST) is a charity that provides work experience, training and employment opportunities for people excluded from working life because of mental health problems or other disadvantages (workforce members).
Our approach is about giving workforce members the chance to overcome some of the difficulties facing them by getting them involved as colleagues. We provide ‘on the job’ training, advice and support to enable each person to improve their basic skills and knowledge of the various work undertaken. This will include supporting workforce members to gain recognised qualifications and access to work placements with our customers and other organisations.
We are in the process of developing a more formalised training and employment support programme (SMaRT Pathways) particularly, but not exclusively, in the area of the Automotive trade. SMaRT Pathways will include the delivery of vocational training through the use of various technologies including video, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and other mediums making the learning process more accessible to those who struggle with traditional learning methods due to issues around literacy, numeracy and low levels of self-confidence/anxiety.
Job Role:
The main objective of this post is to enable people with mental health difficulties and other disadvantages (workforce members) to engage with and access open employment. The EDTW will achieve this by taking responsibility for proactively recruiting people to the project, overseeing their development whilst at the project, including delivery of training courses as and when required and supporting them to move on to employment or further training.
Main duties:
Networking with other services in the area to raise awareness about FST, promoting work placements and training courses as well as promoting the business services.
Recruitment and development of potential workforce members - being proactive in following up on enquires regarding work placements, interviewing potential workforce for work placements at the project.
Employment support – assist workforce looking to move on to paid employment by providing support in job search, CVs and interview preparation. To develop a network of appropriate work placements by building contacts with local employment agencies and employers to ensure access to work for all workforce preparing to move on from FST.
Training – assisting when required, in delivering a variety of courses both in house and recognised qualifications to people with common mental health problems both workforce members and visiting trainees utilising the various technologies as they are developed.
Monitoring and reporting - complete, manage and provide regular, accurate, appropriate and timely reports to agreed deadlines in order to monitor progress.
Office duties – working with workforce members as colleagues ensuring that daily tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
To work in accordance within the limits and parameters as set out in FST’s policies and procedures, by the Board, Chief Executive, Deputy Chief Executive and other senior managers.
Perform other tasks as reasonably required according to the needs of the project and FST.

As a Recovery Worker you will be at the heart of the service, delivering all aspects of the service, building positive relationships with those using the service and strong links into the wider community resources that Bedford provides.
Service Delivery
You will deliver topic focussed, group wellbeing sessions along with facilitating drop-in, activity sessions that provide a safe environment for service users to talk openly and develop practical tools, techniques and coping strategies in order to manage their own wellbeing. Sessions will enable people to have a better understanding of their own mental health, what is needed to keep them well, and to engage in wider community activities, be socially active and develop aspirations in expanding their skills and ambitions.
You will also offer informal 1-2-1 support where needed, to offer guidance and information that reduces the chance that people will fall through gaps, be isolated and ensuring the right support and the right time that manages a range of needs.
In addition, you will assess individuals’ suitability for the service and signpost where necessary. There will also be opportunity to support events in the community to raise awareness of our services and build links with local organisations

FearFree delivers services across the South West for victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse and victims of sexual violence. We provide responsive, victim focused, and trauma informed support and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
Following a successful trial in several surgeries, the Interpersonal Trauma Response Service (ITRS) is now being rolled out across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. This makes it a very exciting opportunity to take ownership and be part of an innovative new service, delivering real improvements to the local community.
The aim of the ITRS is to improve the health, wellbeing and safety of people who have been exposed to trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse. We provide adults whose health is being negatively impacted by interpersonal trauma with appropriate support. We also provide support to children affected by domestic abuse, and provide people who are using abusive behaviours with appropriate support and interventions.
Your team will provide appropriate training to GP surgeries to improve identification, enquiry and response for patients. The Specialist Children and Young People’s Advisor will work within a multi-agency system to provide trauma informed, proactive, person-centered service for children and young people and their families who have experienced domestic abuse, empowering choice through informed decision making.
Our Interpersonal Trauma Response Service brings together dynamic, passionate and committed individuals who share a common focus on delivering high quality, person-centered and trauma informed support to patient’s referred by partner GP Surgeries across Devon. The team have a responsibility to work with multi-agency partners, building awareness and understanding of domestic abuse.
This is a fixed term role for 12 months.
Key elements of the role include:
· Providing high-quality practical and emotional support and outreach to children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse
· Risk assessing and helping to keep children and young people safe through safety planning
· Ensuring the voice children and young people informs every stage of our support provision
· Delivering educational, time-bound, sessions
· Enabling children and young people to access statutory and other services where appropriate
· Engaging with and supporting the MARAC and MASH process, to ensure that the voice of victims is heard

· To provide ongoing specialist advice and support around DVA and SV to practice teams.

· Work with multi-agency partners to meet service users’ needs.

· Support CYP’s participation in the design, delivery, and evaluation of services.
· Ensure resources and services meet CYP’s specific needs.

· To understand and work effectively within a multi-agency framework, consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse, in order to reduce the risk for service users and their families.
· Empower service users to make decisions about their life through advocacy and providing information.
· To recognise, respect and address the needs of service users who face barriers when seeking help to access the service, including those from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, LGBT communities, disabled people, those with complex needs and other groups which services have found difficult to reach.
· Accompany service users, when needed, to other relevant agencies and support them in their interactions with these agencies.
· To work alongside colleagues to deliver a whole family approach, including colleagues in other teams and locations.
· Be proactive with your line manager to carry out periodic case reviews.
· Help maintain accurate and confidential case management records and contribute to monitoring information for the service.
·Attend children’s social care meetings as required, including Child Protection Conferences, Core Groups, Team Around the Family and Strategy Discussions.
Practice-based work:
· Support the delivery of DA/SV training to clinicians and non-clinical staff in participating general practices.
· Promote awareness of the experiences and needs of CYP affected by DV/SV, particularly in relation to their health.
· Develop a good relationship with all general practice staff and work effectively as part of the practice team.
2. General
· Remain up to date and concordant with organisational procedures, policies and professional code of conduct, upholding standards of best practice.
· Attend and contribute to team meetings.
· Contribute to effective team working with a flexible and pro-active approach, including cover for other team members’ holidays and sickness where required.
· Undertake agreed training and keep updated on changes in legislation, policy, and best practice
· To support additional duties at your team managers discretion.
