Both positions are permanent, requiring commitment on weekdays between the hours of 9 and 5. Our multidisciplinary advocates specialise in 3 different types of statutory advocacy namely Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA), Independent Care Act Advocacy (ICAA) and Independent Health Complaints Advocacy (IHCA). They support people, who have difficulty speaking for themselves, to express their views and wishes and understand their rights and entitlements.

The role
In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Trust and Foundation fundraising. Your responsibilities will include building long-term partnerships with grant making trusts and foundations, ensuring support through in-depth research, excellent stewardship, and timely and accurate reporting. You will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships and collaboratively with the Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, as well as colleagues across the organisation to find creative and compelling projects to be funded.

About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee the day to management of the charity, ensure effective fundraising activity, provide support for the Board of Trustees and facilitate the smooth running of the charity. As part of this you will ensure the accounts are prepared in a timely way with the assistance of our book keeper and accountants. You will also work with our web-designer to ensure the website is kept up to date and the annual charity report and return are prepared and submitted on-time.
You will oversee all fundraising activity including maintaining existing campaigns and our CRM system, and provide excellent stewardship to supporters, responding to enquiries, thanking them in a timely manner and supporting supporters with their fundraising activities. As Team Administrator for the Children and Young People’s Engagement Team, you will be responsible for providing vital administrative support to a dynamic team working with children, young people and parents all over the UK.
The Team Administrator will provide administrative or logistical support to different team projects, working groups, committees, events or activities. This will also include supporting the finance functions for the Team and managing purchase orders, invoices and expenses and supporting the project teams by drafting and preparing documents. Educated to a good standard you should have extensive administrative experience or skills and have well-developed experience and knowledge of Microsoft applications along with proven proof reading and minute taking abilities.
With demonstrable interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, you should have the ability to coordinate several projects concurrently whilst having excellent report writing skills, being able to present information in a fluent and persuasive manner to people at a range of levels.
Experience of problem solving, identifying solutions and setting up new systems or mitigations in relation to complex and dynamic administrative activities is essential.
Knowledge of website maintenance and social media experience would be desirable, as would a background of working in direct delivery teams, supporting those who work with children and young people.
The Administrator role offers the opportunity to work closely with those in the field of child and youth engagement, youth volunteering and children’s rights. Willow House - Central Lancashire Crisis Service is a mental health recovery house in Coppull. We are working to a recovery model, and are accessed by referral as either hospital preventions, step down, respite and crisis point support. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a 24hour staffed service to our residents aged 16 and upwards.
We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. They offer practical and emotional support to families and ensure that the neonatal experience is more comfortable for all involved. They also support staff on the neonatal unit by funding training courses and providing resources and materials that can improve their department. Every year they support over 800 babies and their families from the Newcastle Neonatal Service alone.
Tiny Lives is growing and as part of their new strategy, they want to support more families. To do that need to grow income. You'll work alongside the Fundraising & Engagement Manager to create compelling proposals and pitches, plan and execute engagement activities, and identify and approach new corporate prospects. About You:
We are looking for an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships with funders, both in person and on paper, through compelling copy and storytelling. Ideally, you'll have experience in fundraising, donor or account management and an understanding of the charity sector and fundraising regulations. We would also like to hear from candidates with great relationship development experience from a business development or account management background.

Summary of the Post

Main Tasks
- Routine Finance Operations
- Dealing with day-to-day purchase invoices and reconciling to purchase order
- Set up payment online
- Reconcile purchase ledger accounts
- Reconcile daily income from different systems to cash banking, post daily banking into the system

ENHANCING REPRESENTATIVE PROCESSES
• Act as central point of contact for colleagues across King’s and KCLSU for centralising and sharing information about student voice and representation structures related to Transformation Office projects;
• Set up and oversee systems for the management of student representative data between KCLSU and various King’s project teams;
• Ensure that all areas of student representative recruitment, induction, and support are conducted smoothly;
• Record student attendance and other participation data to support evaluation processes and ensure appropriate remuneration;
