Oasis’ work and mission has grown rapidly in the last decade. We are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to help us move into our next phase of growth and build the capacity of our Oasis Operations Team. 

This is a new and integral position in our charity, so you will need solid employee relation experience and employment law knowledge, to advise managers confidently. Working as part of the established Operations Team, you will also input into finance and budgets, recruitment at senior levels, and developing our policies in line with our ethos and 9 Habits. It’s a bit of everything, which is what makes this role exciting and a great opportunity for someone who is eager to get hands-on experience in working on the People Strategy of a national charity. As part of the wider Oasis family you will be well supported; being able to work collaboratively with different teams and functions, as well as managing your own workload, is essential.

We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Team Leader to join our Mental Health service in Lambeth.

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day-to-day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front-line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.

Lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
Deliver effective supervision, team meetings and casework management with staff and ensure that information, reporting and communication
Responsible for the personal development of staff, identifying high performers and feeding into the organisation's succession plans
Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) required as part of the Contract are met and recorded correctly
Completion of working rota and managing Annual leave.
Ensuring the visit allocations are completed daily or where necessary, so staffs know what visits they are doing from day to day.
Completing service update meetings and ensuring the actions from these meetings are completed by staff.
Completing initial assessments and leading on medication reviews/ self-medicating reviews/ step down and discharges.
Develop key business relationships with all appropriate relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch
Participate in and monitor the initial and continuous assessment of needs and ensure that support planning is carried out in line with assessed needs of the customer
Carry out other administrative tasks as relevant to the service and directed by the Contract/Heads of Operations
Deliver an out of hours on-call service for region, where required
Ensure that all safeguarding cases are managed in line with safeguarding protocols and are reported to Contract Manager/Head of Operations, as appropriate
Ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies are always adhered to and to uphold all health and safety responsibilities within relevant policies and local protocols
Adhere to all the policies and procedures of Look Ahead Care, Support & Housing plus those specific to the project including any statutory requirements

The role of an IDVA is to address the safety of victims and survivors at high risk of harm. IDVAs work with their customers from the point of crisis by safety planning and risk assessing using the DASH to ascertain the level of risk to the victim. They will also raise awareness of male domestic abuse with partners and within the community.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

What you'll do:

Look Ahead IDVAs have the personal qualities required to manage customer expectations alongside the responsibilities of their role. Day to day IDVA activities include:
Manage client referrals, completing Dash Risk Assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork

Knowledge of the criminal justice system. Understanding of Marac protocols
Regular attendance at Marac and completion of all Marac referrals
Support Customers to obtain Non Molestation Orders where needed and any other civil remedies available to them
Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
Attending all court and Case Management hearings with or as a representative for clients.
Supporting clients to set personalised goals in the form of a Safety and Support Plan.
Assisting in the recording and reporting of customer incidents
Creating a safety plan with clients
Developing productive relationships with partner organisations to improve service outcomes
Adhering to lone working protocols and maintaining high levels of awareness in relation to the health and safety of yourself and colleagues
Encouraging customers to attend relevant programmes when appropriate i.e Own My Life
Ensuring Look Ahead Health and Safety policies and local protocols are adhered to at all times e.g. fire risk assessments, fire alarm checks etc

Specialist Support Workers within Look Ahead are required to have either an extra dimension of experience or a higher qualification level as determined relevant for the particular post. Specialist Support Workers provide information, social inclusion and vocational opportunities to support people to recover and stay well; exercise choice and control in their care and lives; and participate on an equal footing in the community. Oaklands & St Kilda is a pair of 6 unit supported accommodation mental health rehab services working with young people between the ages of 18-25 who may have experienced a mental health related hospital admission to gain and develop skills for future independent living. The service will support individuals transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult services.

Consists of working 5 days a week across all days, 8 hours shifts starting at either 8am or 2pm.

This innovative role has been created to respond to recent demands for an integrative approach into support delivery of vulnerable adults presenting a severe and enduring mental illness and/or a forensic background, at times in combination with substance misuse.

The post holder will lead on creating a therapeutically informed programme in order to develop a Psychological Informed Environment in the service.

The role would suit an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist who will lead in facilitating therapeutic groups and individual counselling /therapy for service users. On the other side provide support to the staff team in developing their psychological understanding and raising awareness in the emotional impact of working with this client group.

Lead on staff team debriefs following any serious incidents, develop workshops to assist staff in managing stress and wellbeing in the workplace and advise the manager on supportive interventions for the team as a whole
Lead on team reflective practise sessions as well as other creative activities for the team to aid reflection, insight and best practise.
To ensure recovery focused support plans are reviewed, evaluated and amended in accordance with changing needs, presenting risks and individual preferences in order to promote recovery with an attitude of 'positive risk taking'.

Oakview is a supported living project for 10 customers with mild to moderate learning disabilities. It provides a 24/7 support service, with an emphasis on choice and control for customers, enabling them to achieve greater independence, improved quality of life and integration into the wider community. Support Workers will provide support to customers to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs of the customers of the service. This includes providing personal care, domestic duties, emotional and social support in a person centred way. - Participate in and monitor the initial and continuous assessment of needs and ensure that support planning is carried out in line with assessed needs of the customer

If so, St Giles is looking for a highly motivated Personal Wellbeing Administrator to join our team and provide vital administrative support to teams across one or more contracts awarded by the HMPPS to deliver Personal Wellbeing services in Wales.

The Wise Group and St Giles came together a few years ago to form a partnership with the aim of supporting the Probation Resettlement reforms by offering a high-quality service underpinned by staff who have lived experience and cultural competency. To date we have been awarded more than 20 contracts to deliver Personal Wellbeing, Finance, Benefit & Debt and Women’s Services across England and Wales.

About this key role

Our successful candidate will monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from Probation through the Customer Approved System (CAS) ensuring they are successfully assigned to Personal Wellbeing Coaches using the appropriate guidance and process, ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales, plus provide regular activity reports to the Personal Wellbeing Manager.  You will be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, external and internal to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, while also liaising with external stakeholders (e.g. Prisons), delivery partners, spot purchase providers and other agencies to arrange appointments, referrals, and generally ensure information exchanged is done in a clear, timely and effective manner.

Developing and maintaining an Estates log and diary to ensure the team always have an approved site to meet service users in mandated locations when needed and providing administration for meetings, including bookings, invitations and minute-taking, are also vital duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience of managing Customer Relationship Management systems, including inputting data and creating reports
• An understanding of the barriers faced by people with complex and multiple needs
• Knowledge of Trauma Informed practice and how to apply it in supporting service users
• Ability to develop and maintain means by which compliance with policy and procedure can be effectively monitored and reported on, including financial expenditure
• Impressive prioritisation relationship-building and interpersonal abilities
• First-class communication skills, both verbal and written
• A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work

Please note this role requires that successful candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check, on the basis that the post involves contact with vulnerable participants and colleagues, In addition to this, they must also undergo HMPPS vetting.
