About this vital role

Leading by example, as Senior Caseworker you will be the day-to-day expert within the team, be a positive role model to the team of caseworkers and escalate concerns to the Team Leader or Service Manager.  You will work with – and advocate for - young people and their families at risk of youth violence in residential settings and provide vital support, advice and advocacy using a strength-based approach, which will also include working through person-centred support plans designed to promote choice and control.

We will also count on you to deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, where you will provide a practical service that will include social and housing support, ETE options, benefits work, debt advice, appearing in court, and DIY work.  Ensuring, on a day-to-day basis, all monitoring information and evidence is being recorded and collated in line with agreed processes, is also a key element of this role, as is developing and maintaining strong working relationships with partner agencies.

Purpose of the role

ZSL’s Patron Executive will maximise fundraising revenue for ZSL through our Patron programme and will drive forward our wider mid-value donation portfolio. The postholder will be responsible for the recruitment, cultivation and engagement of our Patrons, underpinning strategic areas of delivery and generating essential income. The Patron programme is currently under review, and the postholder will support and lead on the review and will launch the new strategy and programme

Key responsibilities: 

• Lead on the management of the Patron programme and mid-value donor portfolio.
• Will manage the day-to-day delivery of the Patron programme including coordinating the renewals process and responding to enquiries.
• Develop and deliver the recruitment to the Patronage programme, effectively promoting the programme across a range of audiences. Work with colleagues to identify and recruit prospects to the programme and deliver retention activity to uplift individuals to Patronage
• Develop and deliver the retention programme for Patrons, collaborating with colleagues on stewardship and cultivation plans including a programme of communications and engagements, including events.
• Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager and Development Director to increase income and develop other fundraising opportunities.

About You

• Experience in fundraising and donor development in the charity or cultural sector, or in membership engagement.
• Experience in maintaining a network of contacts through stewardship, cultivation and donor management
• Experience in supporter retention which may include events and communications
• Knowledge of fundraising regulations and best practice including Gift Aid and GDPR

The role:

As Senior Reputation Manager you will play a key role in protecting and enhancing St John’s reputation, proactively identifying, managing and mitigating organisational reputational risk. Being a top-class stakeholder manager and a highly effective influencer, you'll be able to quickly build relationships across a large, complex organisation. You will manage and participate in on-call communications rota, write reactive statements and brief senior leaders on an appropriate course of action.

What you’ll be doing

• Relationship building and engagement with Ukie members and wider sector stakeholders, including attendance at internal and external stakeholder meetings and coalition industry groups.
• Support the Senior Policy Manager in research for Ukie’s external consultation responses, co-ordinating with members and facilitating internal forums for discussions on particular issues.
• Support in organising events and engagement with policy makers within Whitehall, Westminster, the Devolved Governments and with regional, combined and local authorities as well as with our global partners in the EU, US and further afield. 
• Assisting the policy and research teams with major public affairs projects and campaigns according to the UKIEs internal strategy and drawing on Ukie’s internal data and external partners where appropriate.

Support to Mission Project

Blackheath Halls is looking for an enthusiastic Development Manager to oversee all aspects of fundraising for our programme and building.

This role would suit someone who enjoys a wide breadth of fundraising activity, from overseeing our Friends and Patrons membership scheme, building and sustaining relationships with high level donors, to submitting funding applications for our community engagement programme.

About Art History Link-Up

Art History Link-Up believes that art history shouldn’t belong to the handful of people who currently have the opportunity to study it, unfortunately currently, fewer than 1% of state schools offer History of Art A-level. To address this, AHLU has provided free courses in art history to over 500 students from over 300 schools across the UK. Their alumni are now studying art history at Russell Group universities across the UK, including the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, and the Courtauld Institute.

The Head of Major Gifts leads the development and stewardship of their major donors. The role will work with the Director of Development to devise, develop and implement the major giving strategy, and ensure annual income targets are met by delivering on individual and team targets.

They will have a proven track record in the design and implementation of relevant HR policies and processes, drawing upon best practice from across the sector.
