About the role
We are looking for a Child and Family Specialist to join our partnership with the London Borough of Ealing, delivering early intervention support to children, young people, and families with moderate mental health needs. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed, and mentalization techniques, you will provide direct interventions in schools, homes, and community settings. You will also collaborate with multi-agency professionals to strengthen the support network for young people.
What you will be doing
In this role, you will provide individual and group therapeutic support to children, young people, and families in schools, homes, and community settings. You will assess mental health needs using observation, interviews, and psychological assessment tools, delivering evidence-based interventions tailored to each case. Working collaboratively with carers, teachers, and social workers, you will enhance multi-agency support networks and promote understanding of children’s mental health. A key part of your role will involve delivering training and consultation to school staff and other professionals, ensuring best practices in mental health support. You will also supervise and support Wellbeing Practitioners, offering guidance to maintain high standards of care. Additionally, you will manage risk, adhere to safeguarding policies, and maintain strong communication across education, health, and social care sectors. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the Ealing Early Intervention Service and improving outcomes for young people.
What you will bring
To succeed in this role, you will need a recognised qualification in Clinical/Counselling Psychology, Family Therapy, or a related field, alongside experience working therapeutically with children and young people, including those with SEND and Care Experienced backgrounds. A strong understanding of neurodiversity-informed and trauma-informed approaches is essential, as is experience in safeguarding, risk management, and multi-agency collaboration. You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage workloads effectively, and experience delivering training to professionals in education, social care, and healthcare.

Parkinson’s UK works with health and social care professionals to transform Parkinson’s services across the UK.
We do this through the Parkinson’s UK Excellence Network (PEN), a network of around 6,000 health and care professionals with a shared vision: to build an expert Parkinson’s workforce and improve health and care services for people with Parkinson’s.
We bring together and support health and care professionals to share best practice, network and collaborate, share resources and education, and drive improvements to services for people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones.
Since its establishment in 2015, the Excellence Network has provided networking and collaboration opportunities for professionals across the different regions of the UK. In England, the Excellence Network is moving to a new regional model aligned to the 7 NHS England regions. The regional model in the devolved nations will remain the same: 3 regions in Scotland, 2 in Wales and 1 in Northern Ireland.
To help us deliver this new regional model, we are looking for 2 healthcare professionals to take on the role of Regional Clinical Lead on a consultancy basis.

What will be expected of you in this role
You’ll:
- Be expected to co-opt a multidisciplinary leadership team to support you in your role. This team should reflect the multi-professional composition of regional services, as well as the geography and should include at least one person with Parkinson's.
- Drive engagement and participation with the Excellence Network at a regional level.
- Inspire, challenge and collaborate with the health and social care professional community to drive significant improvements to Parkinson’s services across your region.
- Act as a professional ambassador for the Excellence Network and help represent the professionals in your region.
- Engage with Integrated Care Board (ICB) leaders to help influence the development of your Integrated Care System (ICS).
- Work closely with the Professional Engagement team at Parkinson’s UK to organise and hold engagement opportunities in your region. This will include working with the team to hold and lead at least one in-person meeting in your region per year.
- Attend the annual in-person PEN National and Regional Clinical Leads meeting.
- Support the PEN national calendar of events through attendance or promotion. This includes Excellence Hub meetings and other activities centred around our national priorities.
- Work closely with the PEN National Clinical Leadership Team (CLT) to discuss and review national and regional priorities. Attend a virtual meeting with CLT 2 times per year.
What expertise you’ll bring
You’ll:
- Be a UK-based clinical healthcare professional, working in Parkinson’s or with extensive interest and expertise in the condition, with exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills. Healthcare professionals living with Parkinson’s are also encouraged to apply.
- Have a good understanding of the landscape of health and social care delivery, education and workforce development to support the strategic aims and objectives of Parkinson’s UK.
What you can expect from Parkinson’s UK
You’ll:
- Be formally welcomed and introduced to the Excellence Network and your role as a regional clinical lead.
- Be provided with an introduction pack, which outlines all the activities of the PEN at a national, regional and local level, so that you can gain an understanding of where your role fits in.
- Meet regularly with the Professional Engagement team to discuss and plan activity in your region, working to a co-developed engagement plan for your PEN region. We will be flexible, taking into account your individual needs.
- Meet with the Professional Engagement Lead or Associate Director of Policy & Health Strategy after 6 months in the role for a review meeting and then annually thereafter (or more frequently if required).
- Be provided with a set of resources and information to support you in your role eg. a ready made presentation on the PEN, data from the services within your patch, including relevant data from the UK Parkinson’s Audit.
- Be invited to an annual event for the National and Regional Clinical Leads, to provide updates, training and opportunities for discussion.
A bit more about the opportunity
Time commitment will be 0.5 days per week (1 programmed activity) to be worked flexibly across the month.
Monthly rate will be based on skills and experience.
Term of consultancy services will be set tenure of 3 years from date of appointment, with an option to extend once for a further 3 years.
We will also ask you/your employer to send across a monthly invoice to the Professional Engagement Manager at Parkinson’s UK and include a short paragraph outlining what you’ve done in the role each month. We can provide an example of this.

Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to manage and oversee the operation of the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) across the London boroughs, ensuring a coordinated and effective community response to cases of domestic abuse. The post-holder will be responsible for promoting collaboration among all relevant agencies, ensuring their attendance and active participation in MARAC meetings. The role also involves identifying and addressing common themes across cases to inform and improve service delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of victims and their families.
Key Duties – What you will be doing:
- Liaise and coordinate with key local agencies to establish the terms of reference for the MARAC, including defining an agreed referral threshold and ensuring the volume of cases remains manageable for each MARAC meeting.
- Oversee the work of the MARAC Team, ensuring all activities align with best practice standards and contribute to the effectiveness of the multi-agency approach.
- Develop and maintain essential documentation to ensure the smooth running of the MARAC team, including the information-sharing protocol, referral forms, research forms, the At Risk List, and meeting minutes.
- Provide quarterly performance reports to the MARAC Steering Group, highlighting key outcomes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Peer Research Project Coordinator to join our mental health charity, to work with teams of researchers in London and Tokyo (Japan) on a multi-methods study to achieve a step change in our understanding of the mechanisms underpinning experiences of anxiety in girls/young women aged 10-24.
In this post you will work both at Kings College London embedded in a research team including youth advisors, young people co-researchers and co-production leads and within McPin leading qualitative research in London schools. The post specifically requires the post-holder to work from a lived experience perspective – identifying with experience of anxiety in girls. The post-holder would also benefit from familiarity with Japanese language and culture.
This post would ideally suit someone with well-developed qualitative research skills who is keen to develop further and willing to lead on project tasks as well as working with others. The post holder will be involved from the beginning of this study developing research ethics materials, planning engagement with schools, piloting interview and focus group schedules and developing survey tools. As our Head of Philanthropy, you’ll be pivotal in the development and implementation of strategies to significantly grow our income and support from high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and foundations.
Accountable for the leadership of the Philanthropy team, the role will lead and drive the philanthropic strategy and activity across the British Heart Foundation (BHF) to deliver philanthropic income and transformational gifts in support of its world leading cardiovascular research and healthcare activities.
In this senior leadership role, you’ll work collaboratively across the Marketing and Fundraising team and wider BHF to build relationships, with Directors, Trustees, senior volunteers, and fundraisers to deliver on our ambition to more than double philanthropic income over future years.
This is an exciting time to lead philanthropic giving at BHF. Income from these audiences has steadily grown year on year. This is an opportunity for an experienced leader and fundraiser to create a step change in Philanthropy giving by driving a strategy that will raise significant additional funds to accelerate and drive critical research.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.
At the BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect on average to spend one day per week in the office. The use of our office spaces is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do. This may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
On occasion the role will require travel across the UK to meet with prospects and donors.

About you
As our perfect candidate, you bring extensive experience of building and maintaining long-term relationships with high-net-worth constituents such as individual major donors, trusts, and foundations at the very highest levels.
With experience working in a large organisation with a matrix management structure, you have experience building and successfully executing ambitious multi-year philanthropic campaigns and fundraising plans, including strategic initiatives for donors.
A strategic and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and influencing skills, you have significant experience of converting cold prospects to planned gifts of 6-7 figures (over £500k) and successfully engaging trustees and/or senior volunteer committees to drive philanthropic income.
With proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse, inclusive and high-performing fundraising team, you can build strong collaborative relationships at all levels, as well as develop and execute long-term philanthropic strategies.
Proactive and resilient, you are committed to achieving personal and team targets and take personal accountability for work. You have a growth mindset, open to innovation and approaches to deliver results.
