The Epilepsy Research Institute is looking to appoint a Digital Marketing Officer. This is a unique opportunity to be part of our team and play a leading role in driving engagement and growth across our digital channels.

Our digital presence and processes are undergoing a major period of transformation.
We’re undertaking a major project to overhaul the design and user experience of our website and we are heavily investing in our channels. We have also recently completed our first content strategy pilot, with the aim to build on new processes and ways of working to better meet the needs of our MS Community while reaching new audiences.
We are looking for a Content and Campaigns Strategist to play a key role in this vital work.
The Content and Campaigns Strategist will be responsible for leading and setting the content approach for marketing campaigns and content projects commissioned by teams from across the organisation. You will work with our Digital Engagement Lead and the wider Digital and Content team to produce plans for a wide variety of content themes and topics including research, campaigns, brand, services and fundraising.
The Content and Campaigns Strategist will collaborate and help to oversee the implementation of content plans, working with editors, designers, media producers, stories and UX specialists to implement these plans to a high standard.
This role will also support our Content and Creative Lead in planning, executing and championing our strategic content approach, ensuring all content that is developed aligns with our overall vision.

Your Role at CHAS
As part of our award-winning Income Generation and Engagement Directorate, the High Profile Events Manager will sit within the Partnership and Philanthropy team. You will report to the Senior Partnership and High Profile Events Manager and lead a portfolio of unique and bespoke high profile events to raise significant income for the organisation against pre-agreed targets.
This role will contribute to CHAS’s strategic vision, which includes a fundraising goal of £75 million (including £16.3 million from the major appeal) over the next five years to sustain CHAS’s life-changing work and fund key projects like the Rachel House redevelopment.

Charity People are thrilled to be recruiting for a large and prestigious organisation to help strategically drive their fundraising, particularly philanthropy. The is a critical role in the organisation to ensure that philanthropic income is implemented in line with donor expectations and ensuring any obligations are stipulated in gift and grant agreements. The Philanthropy Implementation Manager will play an active role in developing and delivering gift implementation improvement projects, acting as a pivotal person between fundraising and finance teams across the organisation. The role is key to ensure that fundraisers are securing gifts in line with departmental policies. The role will also have a particular focus on programme management, ensuring that gifts are advertised and implemented.
The successful postholder will quickly build strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders that will support the work of Fundraising and Supporter Development team, supporting fundraisers working in Major Gifts, whilst not directly involved in the work, you will be able to provide advice and guidance to staff working within these income streams, as well as work with the Business Support Officer to support the management of securing philanthropic gifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with fundraisers and colleagues in the Supporter Operations and Donor Relations teams, to ensure that philanthropic gifts are correctly implemented in line with the donor's expectations and the terms of their gift agreements.
- Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure the funding is used correctly and pledge payments are fulfilled.
- Design complex gift implementation strategies.
- Develop and monitor systems that ensure fundraiser compliance with policies and procedures relating to the implementation of donations. This will also include supporting the Philanthropy Team in monitoring gifts in stewardship, highlighting any gifts requiring re-solicitation.
- Use relationship management techniques to ensure that the relevant stakeholders are notified of any changes or delays to gift implementation. For example, capital builds, recruitment of key posts, progress in research projects.
- Support the Philanthropy Team and wider Directorate in managing business processes, developing processes, and review of key gift documentation, that will support future implementation of philanthropic donations.
You will bring:
- Ability to work independently and to prioritise work effectively and accurately within a regular schedule of tight deadlines
- Experience of designing and implementing new policies or procedures
- Experience of donation administration
- Ability to quickly build effective working relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and in person
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail

The Head of Digital role:
The Head of Digital is responsible for the development and oversight of Coeliac UK’s digital channels and underpinning systems. This is a combination of a strategic, technical and management role including responsibility for web, email and app in the main plus input into CRM and social media. Key responsibilities of the Head of Digital:

Working with the Director of Marketing & Digital to develop and lead the digital solutions across the organisation and deliver the existing road map including:
- Completing the creation of a new website that is currently part way through being built (WordPress) and manage both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
- Developing, enhancing and streamlining the user experience, both for external users (eg. donors, members, health care professionals) and internal users (eg. management of workflows, CRM) spanning across the key areas of website, app, email and CRM
- Devising a strategy for the future development of our Live Well Gluten Free app and see through the implementation with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers - Maintaining and developing existing website until the new website is launched July 2025
- Providing best practice guidance to the organisation on digital execution, including user experience, SEO and content optimisation plus digital strategy for emails and other comms
- Providing regular and exceptional reporting on the key metrics for the digital channels, including a weekly dashboard
- Directly project managing key digital developments including testing and quality control
- Managing third party service providers ensuring value for money and compliance to SLAs
- Responding to, and troubleshoot, all digital systems issues managing supplier ticketing systems
- Monitoring website security and take responsibility for actions required for any digital security breaches
- Conducting content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the Head of Digital:
- Experience of department or large project management, including people and budget management
- Minimum seven years’ experience in a similar role
- Minimum two years’ experience of CRM/database management
- Expert in content management systems and have extensive experience in developing user journeys, optimising user experience and delivering multi variate testing
- Good knowledge and understanding of W3C Web standards and accessibility
- Excellent general IT skills, with use of MS project, and MS Visio desirable
- Use of collaborative working portals eg monday.com; Microsoft Teams etc
- HTML/CSS and Workbooks knowledge is advantageous but not essential
- A great understanding of SEO and the impact of actions on search visibility

With a qualification or equivalent experience in Warehousing/Logistics/Supply Chain, or qualified as a Pharmacy Technician, you will have relevant knowledge in the distribution of medicinal products (WDA/GDP) and awareness of MHRA licencing requirements.

About the Service
We know that poor mental health can make earning and managing money harder, and that worrying about money can make our mental health worse. Could you help and empower people to navigate and improve this?
Mind in Salford are looking to recruit a Money & Me Navigator to proactively identify people with mental health issues whose lives are being impacted due to financial concerns and provide support those who are less likely to come forward for support or reluctant to access mental health care due to stigma or discrimination.
You will provide one to one and/or group support, using trauma informed approaches, to empower people with mental health issues whose lives are being impacted due to financial concerns. By doing this, you will support people to become more resilient and better able to deal with problems they may have in the future.
About You and the Role
Your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage a caseload of clients accessing one to one support, providing goal orientated support, for up to 8 weeks to help people build their skills and resilience to take control
- To set up, develop, and facilitate group sessions for people with mental health and financial problems and deliver a predetermined course
- To work with clients within Money & Me in relapse prevention and to provide waitlist initiative/holding services to clients awaiting higher interventions when required
- To follow a set programme including referring people to higher levels of intervention mental health or financial when required

Customer care
- Act as the initial contact for supporters via email, telephone, and post, providing outstanding customer service.

Donor care
- Accurately record all interactions with donors and supporters in the fundraising database (Raiser’s Edge).

- Respond promptly and sensitively to donor requests such as cancelling and altering direct debits, allocating donations to special funds and updating Gift Aid information
- Ensure all acknowledgement letters are kept up to date with accurate information and branding

We are looking for a talented, self-motivated and well organised Project Coordinator to help ensure the smooth running and delivery of our Right to Rehab and Network of Exercise Professionals campaign work.
You will support the day-to-day work of one of our busy and influential areas at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and coordinate progress reports, diaries, partner communications and meetings, event organisation and quarterly updates from all four UK countries.
This role is a key point of contact for Community Rehabilitation Alliance (CRA) members, CSP staff and other internal and external stakeholders on all matters related to the community rehabilitation campaign, including responding to, and triaging enquiries, providing advice, guidance and assistance.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be very organised, able to develop positive relationships with CSP colleagues and alliance members and enjoy problem solving in a fast-paced environment, using your initiative.
First class communication and administration skills with a strong team ethic are also essential, as is a successful track record of campaign, project or office management and the ability to coordinate and support work, often to tight and conflicting timescales.
