We're seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Service Manager for a service working with 16 plus children and care leavers. In this role, you will play a vital role in providing effective leadership to an integrated and multi-functional team providing an assessment, support and move on to the young people we accommodate.
Your mission: to motivate and develop the staff team to consistently deliver a high quality and needs led responsive service to young people. Through this the overarching goal is to empower young people through the care system and in the development of lifelong tools they need to lead fulfilling lives outside the confines of traditional services.
About the Role:
As the Service Manager, you will report to a Regional Service Manager and will be working closely to ensure the services meet our business objectives. You will actively direct the team in their day-to-day work to ensure your young people’s needs are at the centre of the support process and the support provided is personalised and of a high quality.
You will be working within a strengths and recovery framework embedded within a trauma informed approach to meet the varying needs of young people experiencing a multitude of varying needs including offending behaviour and complex mental health. You will have responsibility of housing management and will work within the management team and internal SHP Central teams to ensure the service are delivered to the highest standard.

- Work in conjunction with Oakleaf's Client Services team and Guildford Action to help identify clients who are ready to access employment.
- Prepare clients for employment by supporting the development of a CV, compiling Job Applications, building career development plans, undertaking interview practice, arranging, and assisting at interviews as and when required. Plus, all other elements as may be undertaken through our “Job Club.”

About the Role
We are now recruiting for a dedicated Through-the-Gate Project Worker to join our Criminal Justice and Detention Services team. This role will provide specialist support to migrant women being released from prison or detention into the London area and beyond.
The Through-the-Gate Project Worker will act as the main point of contact for referrals for women being released from prison or immigration removal centres. The role will involve managing a caseload of up to 15 migrant women who are in contact with the criminal justice system and / or under immigration restrictions, helping them to prepare for release and supporting them to resettle in the community afterwards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with statutory, partner and other voluntary organisations to maximise provision of support for women being released from prison/detention. The post-holder will also work as part of Hibiscus’ Safe Homes for Migrant Women project team, to improve provision of safe and secure housing for Black and minoritised migrant women.

About You

About the Role
This role offers the opportunity to join our service team at Luton. Based at our Wellbeing Centre in Dumfries Street we offer activities and groups throughout the day enabling service users to manage their mental health and move through their recovery journeys. The Accelerating Reform Fund is a new initiative which aims to transform social care services, making them more responsive to the needs of the community. It is a national programme, with 42 regions allocated to have their own projects. Greater Manchester is one of the ARF regions. Job Summary

ABOUT THE RECOVERY WORKER ROLE
Are you passionate about empowering people to overcome challenges and transform their lives? As a Recovery Worker, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting individuals facing addiction, homelessness, and complex needs – guiding them towards stability, independence, and brighter futures.
Churchfield and Cherington provide supported housing for individuals facing addiction and homelessness, with Churchfield offering 24/7 temporary support for those in active addiction and Cherington supporting abstinent residents to reintegrate into the community. The service has stairs, applicants will need to be able to move freely around the service in order to conduct welfare checks and room checks. Please note: Due to the nature of the service, the postcode and address have been withheld. The location is within the Ealing/Hanwell area.
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, On site only, Monday to Friday. Rolling rota of 3 to 4 shifts per week, each lasting 12.5 hours from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM

About the role:
This is a new and exciting Talking Space service with the main aim of supporting 18-25 year olds and the wider community.

Guildford Foyer provides 24 hour supported accommodation housing up to 34 young people aged 16-25 who have multiple and complex needs, including many who are unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people. We provide support to our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and work towards aspirations so that they can move on to enjoy fully independent futures. Our supportive staff team comprises of Support Workers, night staff and two managers.
We are looking for a Supported Housing Support Worker to join our Guildford Foyer team. Main areas of responsibilities are:
Housing
- Coach young people to manage their occupancy agreement and adhere to house rules, in preparation for independent living.
- Promote a credit culture, encouraging young people to keep up to date with all payments for rent.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of housing and welfare benefits for young people and be well-informed on significant changes to housing law.
- Deal effectively with non-compliance issues, such as non-payment of rent or damage to room, using restorative practices and working collaboratively with the rest of the team.
Coaching and Engagement
- Coach young people so they can articulate their aspirations and ambitions and take the lead in acquiring the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives.
- Ensure young people are encouraged to take responsibility for their own personal development, to engage with the services on offer and build strong networks and connections within the local community.
- Ensure consistent standards of safeguarding and Trauma Informed Practice when supporting young people, observing our safeguarding procedures, and keeping yourself and residents safe by respecting professional boundaries.
- Maintain client records on In-Form (client database) detailing the young person’s journey in relation to their strengths and needs, any risks, and any outcomes (to monitor service performance).
General
- Work as part of a team, on a rota shift pattern, ensuring young people at the service have non-judgemental, objective, and supportive staff during the day/evening, along with taking responsibility for personal safety during periods of lone working
