Peer support is an essential part of South East London Mind and we have Lived Experience Support Workers (LESWs) based in the Southwark Primary Care Mental Health Teams (PCMHT), assisting in a community mental health model in Southwark with a focus on integrated care. Working alongside and complementing the mental health care provided by South London and Maudsley NHS colleagues in the Multi-Disciplinary Teams, LESWs offer a strengths-based holistic approach with empathy and understanding, providing their clients with more pathways to recovery and accessing the right interventions and support based on their individual needs. They also support clients to develop and maintain independence in their local community, promoting resilience, building life skills, and a strengthened ability to cope with challenges and play a more active role in the management and sustainability of their wellbeing.
We are currently recruiting for a LESW position within the North PCMHT based at the Chaucer Resource Centre, 13 Ann Moss Way, London, SE16 2TH, with regular travel to community venues and home visits. This role involves connecting with service users based on shared experiences of mental health challenges, therefore lived experience of mental health challenges is an essential requirement for this role. We would like to recruit a new Team Lead for our Enfield IPS (SMI) Service who is passionate about delivering the best quality service to our clients.
Experience of team management is not essential, but you will need to be an experienced Employment Specialist or Senior Employment Specialist, with a performance (quality and outcomes) track record to enable you to demonstrate IPS principles and ways of working to your team. You will be leading a team of 5 employment specialists (4.5 FTE) and a peer employment support worker. You will be responsible for providing supervision, training including field mentoring, caseload management support as well working with clinical team leads, contract commissioners and health leads. You will be also responsible for monitoring team performance, data analysis and monthly reporting. You will work with the Operations Manager to improve team performance in terms of outcomes and quality. The Operations Manager will be responsible for quarterly reporting but will need your support with this task.
We understand that this is a busy role, but you will be supported by the Operations Manager and other Head Office roles to help you and your team succeed.
The service has been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people into employment.
The Enfield IPS team works alongside two IPS PC teams and a WorkWell team so there will be opportunities to share ideas and develop joint working within the borough to support a wide range of clients.
Working Well Trust also operates other SMI IPS services so you will also work with other team leads to develop high fidelity working practices across the services.

Context of the role.
Upbeat Communities delivers several services to welcome refugees and support them to rebuild their lives. Thriving Places is a 3-year project, funded by the National Lottery, which will provide support to asylum seekers and refugees as they integrate into life in the UK. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative mental health support coordinator to lead our programme based in Lewisham for LGBTQ+ communities. We will work with the communities, especially from an intersectional identity lens to develop co-produced wellbeing activities to ensure greater mental health. Activities such as walking, cooking, reading, banner making, gardening groups and one-to-one support will be provided. The Role
Based within the Northallerton Hub, and taking a multi-disciplinary approach, working with partner agencies such as Police, Probation, Prisons and other stakeholders, you will provide a targeted approach for people using the North Yorkshire Horizons service, from harm reduction, brief interventions through to structured treatment, ensuring that every recovery journey is tailored to each individual's priorities. In addition to delivering a range of PSI interventions, the post holder will also facilitate court imposed Drug Rehabilitation Requirements (DRR’s) and Alcohol Treatment Requirements (ATR’s) and oversee the prescribed treatment for a caseload of people within the Criminal Justice system.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with Police, Probation, Prisons and other appropriate partners and stakeholders within office based, community and outreach settings.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Recovery Worker to join our women's only refuge in Hove. The service supports 18 women with a trauma informed approach using a psychologically informed environment model to provide high quality, person centred support to all our residents.
You will support with a range of frontline care and support activities within the service, in a varied role. You will work towards supporting residents/participants to achieve their desired goals/outcomes, and will ensure all residents/participants understand and have the right tools and resources for positive outcomes. You will also develop, participate in, and encourage residents/participants to participate in the running of activities, projects and events. There will be a focus on risk assessments and management, as well as housing and property management.
Shift Pattern: 22.5 hours per week on a rota. This may include shifts between Monday to Friday.

The purpose of the Outreach Worker is to work with adults during the perinatal period (pre birth up to 2 years after birth), including both parents and carers. About the Role
Community Connectors work as part of an integrated, blended mental health offer to support people with emotional, social and practical needs to access a range of local, non-medical and non-clinical services, to improve confidence, social inclusion and independence.
This role will involve working as part the Community Mental Health Team [CMHT] (a multi-disciplinary team with statutory, third sector and NHS colleagues) to support clients who are suffering from moderate to severe mental health difficulties. You will need to have experience working with those suffering with mental health illness as well as being able to demonstrate in depth knowledge of the services, support networks and local resources that may assist in improved outcomes for those dealing with complex and enduring mental health issues. The ability to be adaptable, work independently and the resilience to work in some challenging environments are key attributes for this role.
Service Delivery
- Assess suitability for community connection support as part of a blended team approach and support individuals to access the service by utilising in depth knowledge of local voluntary and community services and networks in your respective area
- To work with individuals to coproduce a plan to address their mental health and wellbeing goals. Am enable people to achieve these goals through facilitating access and connecting with appropriate resources
- Enable people to access community resources which may include accompanying them.
- Offer support, guidance and help where possible to people to gain confidence, overcome initial fears and seek solutions to any barriers inhibiting attendance.
- Take a holistic approach, based on the individuals’ priorities and wider determinants of health that impact on their health and wellbeing, such as debt, poor housing, being unemployed, loneliness and caring responsibilities.
- To work as part of an integrated team to ensure the best outcomes for each person accessing the service.
- Identify and build good working relationships with the community groups, relevant services and activities for partnership work and signposting as well as keep updated information about them.
- Competently work as part of a blended team, under direction from Mind BLMK and ELFT, working with independence and in an agile way to support people with complex mental health challenges.

The role will require you to work alongside the Regional Services Manager, to provide a high level of support to these clients.
You will be in a specialist role designed to work with people with complex support needs relating to: mental ill health, physical health & substance use needs. You will also play a key part in reducing the risk of re-offending, liaising with external professionals, preventing homelessness and promoting the independence and social inclusion of these clients.
The working rota for this post is Monday-Friday (no weekend shifts) and a mixture of earlies (8am - 3.30pm) & lates (3pm - 10.30pm.) We strongly welcome applications from local residents of Islington.

Job Purpose:
Assisting in the resettlement of vulnerable refugees and Afghan evacuees through the provision of advice, guidance, and support.
Context of the role.
Upbeat Communities delivers several services to welcome refugees and support them to rebuild their lives. We are looking to recruit an Integration Worker who will offer support working on the refugee resettlement scheme.
Refugee resettlement takes place across Derbyshire and Lincolnshire. Over the past 7 years, Upbeat Communities has welcomed and played a key part in the resettlement of Syrian refugees in partnership with local authorities in both counties. This role has included supporting families to apply for universal credit and set up bank accounts, registering with GPs and local schools in addition to integrating into their local community. Since the summer of 2021, we have taken on responsibility for the resettlement of Afghan families in both regions.
This role requires working within a fast-paced and dynamic environment to manage a caseload of participants' families, with a lot of travel across the county of Lincolnshire. Areas covered could including Sleaford, Bourne, Spalding, Skegness, Boston.
We are looking for a new team member who can provide support to refugee families across Lincolnshire. Due to the nature of the work, you would need to hold a full UK driving licence, have access to a car, and be willing to travel to visit families, as well as attend team meetings in Derby.

We're seeking three skilled and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Young Person’s Worker. In these role, you will play a vital role in providing support to at-risk young people who are experiencing homelessness. We have roles available in our services in Islington and Waltham Forest.
