UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an agile, creative, and proactive team player who can join us as a Digital Acquisition and Mobilisation Manager within the digital fundraising team.
Working closely with the Head of Digital Fundraising, you will lead and deliver a multichannel acquisition strategy to mobilise and inspire new and existing donors to take action and donate. Collaborating with the wider fundraising and communications teams, you will produce creative campaigns and content across a variety of channels – with a focus on digital donor acquisition and lead generation– to help grow our donor base, increase lifetime value and generate vital funds for families forced to flee. You will be a confident communicator and an experienced project manager with an enthusiasm for experimentation and digital fundraising.

Role Responsibilities
- Lead digital donor acquisition activities and journeys across a variety of channels including paid social, paid search, display, email and telemarketing.
- Develop and implement a lead generation strategy to grow our supporter base, utilising and testing tools and tactics such as quizzes, petitions and hand-raisers to recruit and convert new leads and engage existing donors.
- Collaborate closely with fundraising and communications colleagues to deliver and optimise integrated, multichannel campaigns and effective, donor-first journeys to mobilise and inspire new and existing supporters to take action and donate.
- Ensure all activities are aligned with strategic objectives, managing the multi-million-pound income and expenditure budget for digital acquisition and lead generation.
- Actively test and optimise new products, channels and propositions to maximise fundraising and engagement opportunities, analysing progress and results.
- Manage relationships with agencies and campaign stakeholders to deliver agreed KPIs and fundraising targets, monitoring performance and budgeted spend.
- Ensure that prospective donors receive an excellent supporter experience, working closely with the fundraising and comms team to develop a seamless journey across channels, including email, paid media and telemarketing.
- Working with communications colleagues to ensure the website and social media channels are up to date with key messages and reflect content related to lead generation and acquisition activities.
- Produce persuasive, high-quality email, social, display and web copy to motivate the public to act and donate and proofread and collect necessary feedback from relevant stakeholders and signatories in a timely manner.
- Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying fundraising opportunities and develop relevant communications and journeys as needed, collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation.
- Use data and insights to produce at minimum monthly reports on performance against KPIs and use analytics to identify trends and optimise activities based on user behaviour.
- Stay up to date with digital best practices and technology, including sector trends and follow industry policies, including GDPR, PECR regulations, attending training and optimising plans accordingly.
- Stay up to date with issues affecting displaced communities, campaigns from international, content and reports from the field.
- Share creative and insights with UK colleagues, global teams, and HQ.
- Participate in training seminars, workshops, and skill shares where applicable.
- Work collaboratively with digital engagement and communications colleagues to maximise fundraising and engagement opportunities.

Personal Attributes and Experience
Essential Experience
- Substantial experience in digital marketing and fundraising, with a proven track record of planning and delivering multichannel campaigns, preferably within the charity sector.
- Experience of working across a broad channel mix (social, web, email, SEO, SEM and other Direct Marketing channels would be advantageous).
- Experience of using digital channels for lead acquisition to grow a supporter base and deliver sustainable income.
- Experience of using data to effectively measure, evaluate and report on fundraising activities and KPIs across multiple channels.
- Experience of working with and managing external agencies and suppliers.
- Experience managing an annual budget and forecasting income projections.
- Experience using Google Analytics and other analytic tools for tracking and analysis.
Essential Skills/Knowledge
- Solid understanding of digital fundraising practices and principles.
- Excellent written communication skills: able to produce compelling, persuasive, and concise copy for a range of specific target audiences.
- Attention to detail and proofreading skills and an ability to give clear and constructive feedback on creative and copy.
- Experience working with Salesforce (or similar CRM platform).
- Experience working with Wordpress and iRaiser (or similar CMS/e-commerce platforms).
- Experience working with digital campaigning or advocacy platforms and tools.
- Proven proficiency with design principles and tools (Canva/Adobe suite).

About the role
The role leads the delivery of our social media strategy and supports our Creative Content Lead to deliver Drinkaware’s multimedia content strategy. BACKGROUND
Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. Over 200,000 children and young people are on roll at Primary, Secondary, ASL / Special Educational Needs Schools and Pupil Referral Units that the charity works with, in disadvantaged areas of Scotland and England. Providing breakfast ensures that children start their school day with the energy and nutrition they need to be able to make the most of their morning lessons. Magic Breakfast also undertakes research, and campaigns for long-term solutions to end hunger as a barrier to learning.
JOB PURPOSE
Magic Breakfast’s mission is to end child morning hunger in the UK now and for good. The Engagement Partner will be responsible for the remote engagement of schools, teachers, children and young people and the communities in their allocated area. They will support schools with the setup, rollout and continuous improvement of breakfast provision, engage with the wider school community to educate on the importance of breakfast on learning and to enable increased uptake in a barrier and stigma-free way by optimising provision and encouraging reach.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•To develop a relationship with the supported schools to enable, preserve, embed, enhance and extend stigma and barrier free breakfast provision.
•To educate and engage with the wider school community, including teachers, parents and children and young people on the importance of breakfast and implications of hunger as a barrier learning through various online support including assemblies, staff meetings, online events and regional events throughout the academic year, all supported remotely.
•To remotely engage with the wider community to advocate for the importance of breakfast, the work that we are doing in existing schools and to support our campaigning and advocacy strategy and plans.
• To develop brand awareness in schools and local communities in line with our marketing strategy
• To support the recruitment of new schools with remotely launching new breakfast provisions, adapting to the requirements of the school and children and young people, and advising on best practise
• To remotely support any supporter visits, volunteering or any funder related requirements
• To remotely support any media requests as directed through the Policy & Engagement team
• To capture and report on “storytelling” to enable the organisation to utilise qualitative data to support external communication

We provide a range of support for people from the early days after stroke throughout their recovery and into the longer term, working closely with our network of volunteers, Stroke Association support groups, and independent groups as part of the Stroke Group Network.
You’ll lead a motivated and engaged team of staff and volunteers to:
· Champion and support improvements to NHS stroke services, building effective relationships with key stakeholders and influencing local stroke policy and practice
· Increase the reach and impact of locality delivered services to ensure all new stroke survivors in the East of England receive the support they need to rebuild their lives after stroke
· Engage with the wider stroke community to put stroke on the map and ensure stroke survivors have the support they need, with a focus on addressing health inequalities
About You
You will have:
· Senior-level experience in advocacy/influencing; service delivery or community engagement and development.
· Senior level experience influencing local or national policy change, ideally in health and social care.
· Substantial experience of holding senior-level relationships with partner organisations, ideally in health and social care / the NHS and a strong understanding of systems leadership.

We are looking for an experienced Grants Writer and Coordinator to lead on expanding income from a sustainable portfolio of trusts and foundations. The post holder will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy to significantly increase our restricted and unrestricted income, aiming to surpass £500,000 this year. This role involves coordinating a diverse portfolio of high-value trusts, foundations, and grant-makers, including the National Lottery, Children in Need, and other major grant schemes, charitable trusts, and foundations.
We are looking for a skilled bid writer with extensive project management experience to transform our core and project work into compelling fundraising propositions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, with a proven track record in high-value fundraising from trusts and foundations or a similar field. The Grants & Trusts Coordinator will cultivate and maintain key relationships with funders capable of contributing four to six-figure sums.
The key tasks for this role include working closely with the CEO to develop a plan for multi-year income growth from grant funding, aligned with the Charity’s strategic objectives and income targets. The role requires developing the strategic direction for grants and trusts funding, ensuring a pipeline of high-value bids and a sustainable income stream. You will identify, engage, cultivate, and coordinate a portfolio of high-value trust and foundation supporters, providing effective relationship management alongside the CEO.
Securing both restricted and unrestricted income for Platform for Life involves initiating, managing, and developing a comprehensive programme of applications to a wide range of funding sources. You will identify funders that align with the work carried out by Platform for Life, and collaborate with the CEO, colleagues and trustees to produce high quality, innovative bids, ensuring the strongest possible application is submitted. You will then coordinate and create the funding, mid-term and completion reports for funders.

Purpose of the role
We are looking for an experienced and creative Communications Manager to take on a key role in our rapidly growing organisation. As Communications Manager, you will lead all aspects of our communications and marketing activity with key stakeholders and with the general public. You will be developing and implementing the organisational Communications Strategy which will increase our profile as an organisation, maximise our reach and impact, and raise awareness of the vison, mission and aims of Black Thrive Global.
Working closely with the Directors, the CEO and the staff, you will create a compelling, coherent and consistent narrative that joins up all our communication channels, key messaging around core BTG work, and plan strategically for key dates linked to activities and events corelated with our aims and mission. To do this, you will work with staff across our organisation and with the communities we represent to increase our engagement with the general public and key stakeholders. Our communications will be both reactive and proactive and the post holder will provide quick responses to emerging media stories.
Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee Black Thrive’s communication activity, co-ordinating that activity and planning for all communications channels, including website, social media and external newsletters. This role includes marketing Black Thrive to different audiences to raise the profile of the organisation in support of its strategic aims.

Deal proactively with media enquiries, maintain the media database and log enquiries, monitor media coverage.
- Implement effective external communications strategy to develop a consistent and coherent narrative for Black Thrive; amplify and support the work of the organisation among the general public, potential strategic partners (including but not exclusive to academics, community partners and local decision-making bodies); and provide clear goals around communication and brand awareness.

Evaluate and monitor communications activity – developing KPI’s in line with our Communications Strategy, and ensuring the information is used to build on success and to develop strategy and outputs.

Manage and lead the Communications Team staff.
