Whizz Kidz is transforming. It is an exciting time to join us as a Partnerships Development Executive as we embark on an ambitious strategy for the next three years. Sitting within our Corporate Partnerships team this role will support the Head of Partnerships and Partnership Development Manager to develop and delivery of long-term relationships with companies – both large and small – so we increase the number, scale and value of corporate partnerships with the goal of providing more sustainable support for Whizz-Kidz.
To achieve this you will proactively identify, research and quantify opportunities across priority sectors, manage your own prospect pipeline and work with internal teams to create a clear case for support that will help deliver shared purpose and shared value partnerships. You will play your part in helping build the Whizz Kidz brand, grow influence and drive income.
Whizz Kidz: the facts
Over 75,000 young people aren’t getting the wheelchair or support that fully meets their needs. Without the ability to be independent young wheelchair users are restricted in their ability to socialise and participate in society.

As the UK’s leading charity for young wheelchair users (up to 25 years old), we empower young people by providing the wheelchairs, equipment, support and confidence-building experiences they need, and campaigning for a more inclusive society.
And we won’t stop until they are mobile, enabled and included.
The Fundraising and communications team at Whizz Kidz raises around 95% of the income to fund the work of the charity and supports the generation of funds through on and offline publications, develops our social media and website presence and leads on PR activities.
The person
As the Whizz Kidz Partnership Development Executive you will be encouraged to get into the heart of the organisation, understand our ambitions and use your passion, knowledge and skills to help identify and deliver new corporate partnerships. You will understand how to identify the right opportunities for Whizz Kidz and know what it takes to win and manage different types of partnerships. You will have solid written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable presenting and willing to develop and learn new skills. You will be keen to play your part in helping the fundraising and marcomms team maintain a positive culture, increase brand awareness and unlock vital income to create positive change for young wheelchair users and their families.
Key accountabilities
• Support the Partnerships team in generating long term sustainable income (unrestricted/restricted) from the corporate sector by developing income first multi-year partnerships
• Create and deliver engaging and targeted new business proposals, pitches and presentations as well as creating compelling and persuasive cases for support to help secure and establish successful new partnerships
• Support team to achieve its financial targets through new and existing partnerships
• Researching and quantifying opportunities alongside identifying and cultivating relationships with new prospects with a view to securing face to face meetings and long-term support
• Ensure frameworks and legal contracts describing and defining funding relationships comply with charity, HMRC law and fundraising best practice.

At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for children and young people whose lives are just too short. Our aim is to reach every family that needs our help and to offer them the very best choice of care. Did you know that every year we need to raise £6.5m to keep our doors open and only around 16% of our income comes from government sources, the rest has to be raised through fundraising activity.
Our services include short overnight stays and community breaks at home or in the hospice. We also support the whole family from diagnosis with our multi-disciplinary Family Support team who provide counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy and much more. Our care team support these families in our modern, purpose-built building. All our rooms bedrooms have a homely feel. We have a sensory room, spa pool, cinema room and six acres of gardens.
We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. About the role
We’re looking for a motivated, communicative, and knowledgeable Public Affairs Officer to join our Policy and Influencing Team, to help us achieve the positive change children and young people with cancer across the UK, and their families, need in the health system. This means amplifying the voices of young cancer patients and delivering evidence-based campaigns that make change happen.
The Public Affairs Officer is responsible for supporting the Policy and Influencing Team with public affairs expertise to deliver the key components of our influencing work in England and UK-Wide (Westminster). You will help us influence the system for children and young people with cancer and their families, so we can change experiences of having cancer and ensure children and young people’s voices are heard.

This role is a hybrid role, with frequent in-person presence in London required. As a London-based role requiring frequent travel within London, the advertised salary is reflective of our London pay scale.

Rydym am benodi unigolyn profiadol i arwain datblygiad Strategaeth Codi Arian ac Ymgysylltu Mind Conwy, hyrwyddo ein cyrsiau hyfforddi corfforaethol a chydweithio â rhanddeiliaid, gyda'r nod o sicrhau twf incwm sylweddol.
Arwain tîm i fwayafu incwm sy'n cynnwys Swyddog Codi Arian, Swyddog Cyfryngau Cymdeithasol a Hyfforddwr sy'n darparu Cyrsiau Cymorth Cyntaf Iechyd Meddwl i sefydliadau ar draws Gogledd Cymru.
Prif Gyfrifoldebau:
- Ymchwil ar y Cyd: Bod yn bartner i’r Prif Weithredwr ac aelodau allweddol o’r tîm i archwilio a sicrhau cyfleoedd ariannu newydd.
- Arweinyddiaeth Tîm: Goruchwylio’r Tîm Cynhyrchu Incwm, sy’n cynnwys marchnata ein gwasanaethau, trefnu hyfforddiant allanol i sefydliadau a chodi arian.
- Ysgrifennu Cynigion Strategol: Arwain y gwaith o greu a chyflwyno cynigion codi arian arloesol, gan sicrhau aliniad â gofynion y rhoddwr a’r sefydliad.
- Datblygiad Strategol: Cynnig Strategaeth Cynhyrchu Incwm sy'n cyd-fynd â'n nodau sefydliadol trosfwaol.
- Gweithredu'r Cynllun: Ysgogi gweithrediad y Cynllun Cynhyrchu Incwm, gan gynnwys marchnata, cyhoeddusrwydd, codi arian a mentrau corfforaethol a hyfforddi.
- Meithrin Perthynas: Creu cysylltiadau cryf gyda sefydliadau lleol i hyrwyddo ein rhaglenni hyfforddi corfforaethol.
Cynhyrchu Incwm
- Arweiniad Arbenigol: Darparu gwybodaeth arbenigol ar gynhyrchu incwm a thwf i uwch reolwyr.
- Amrywio Ffrydiau Incwm: Datblygu ffynonellau incwm cynaliadwy trwy gontractau, grantiau, a chyfleoedd arloesol fel pecynnau llesiant yn y gweithle, hyfforddiant staff mewn rheoli iechyd meddwl, codi arian yn y gymuned a chodi arian corfforaethol.
- Strategaeth Twf Busnes: Arwain y tîm wrth greu strategaeth twf busnes cadarn ar gyfer cynhyrchu incwm yn Mind Conwy a'i is-gwmnïau.
- Hyrwyddo Proffil Uchel: Hyrwyddo ein gwasanaethau i sefydliadau proffil uchel a nodi cyfleoedd cynhyrchu incwm arloesol.

- Cyfranogiad gweithredol: Mynychu a chyfrannu at gyfarfodydd, gan sicrhau aliniad â nodau sefydliadol.
- Cydymffurfiaeth: Cadw at ganllawiau Iechyd a Diogelwch, polisïau'r cwmni, a rheoliadau GDPR.
