About the role

You will support the Individual Giving team in the delivery of key fundraising strategies across a range of channels and income streams. This includes project-managing direct marketing campaigns, working to our digital fundraising strategy, liaising with suppliers and delivering key donor stewardship. You will play a key role in driving income at Emmaus UK as well as supporting the fundraising of Emmaus federation partners.

Working within the Fundraising and Influence directorate, reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, the role will be central to the delivery of the strategic objectives of the fundraising team.

The post holder will be responsible for giving comprehensive benefit entitlement advice and support to householders. The post holder will obtain relevant information about a client’s circumstances and offer accurate guidance about potential eligibility for additional benefit entitlements. This will include the completion of application forms as appropriate. Advice will be given over the phone, via online contact and in face-to-face settings where appropriate.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

You will have a good understanding of Welfare Rights, including entitlements, systems, claim processes and current legislation and practices. Demonstrable experience of providing advice via telephone and face to face.

You will need good organisational skills, excellent communication skills as well as an understanding of the needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders.

NEA has several office locations throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and welcomes applicants from all regions. The role of Communications and Marketing Coordinator sits within the Communications Team at Kids Matter. · To manage the delivery of Young Marketeers in Plymouth in four primary schools

Background to School Food Matters

School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.

Young Marketeers

This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 12 cities across England and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for three years.  The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives.  Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall.  Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. And in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the mayor!

Key Tasks include:

· Assist with recruitment of four schools to take part in Young Marketeers

· Build and maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the project

· Build and support relationships with contacts in partner organisations

· Schedule, organise and deliver

o One assembly in each school

o Two food growing sessions in each school

o One market trader training session in each school

o Market Day in the city centre in July for four schools

· Maintain accurate records relating to the programme

• Complete monitoring and evaluation forms in accordance with instructions from our Evaluation team

As Policy and Public Affairs Officer, you will work closely with our Head of Public Affairs to influence decision makers in the NHS, and UK and Welsh governments. The Grants Associate will engage most closely with grants for More in Common’s European offices as well as cross-country grants on a wide range of issues from climate to migration and disinformation and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Grants Associate will play a key role in supporting More in Common’s fundraising and grants management efforts across Europe. This fixed-term role (filling in for one of our colleagues who is going on parental leave) will focus on identifying new funding opportunities, developing relationships with funders, designing and managing multi-country grants, and providing fundraising and grants support to More in Common’s national teams.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Leading the development of multi-country proposals, including project design, team coordination, proposal writing, funder liaison, and providing fundraising support to country teams as needed
• Researching new funding opportunities, from a variety of sources, including foundations and public funds and staying abreast of developments in the philanthropic sector
• Working with More in Common’s Co-founders, Country Directors, and Head of Development to maintain and strengthen funder relationships
• Supporting priority multi-country projects, including project management, consortium or team collaboration, and facilitating learning
• Leading on reporting for strategic multi-country projects, working closely with country teams to gather information and tell the story of More in Common’s work
• Contributing to More in Common's strategic planning processes, bringing a cross-country perspective and ensuring that lessons learned from projects are integrated into future work
• Representing More in Common at external events and conferences across Europe
• Tracking More in Common’s fundraising pipeline and grant lifecycle and working with the Head of Development in compiling quarterly fundraising board reports
• Working with the Head of Development to improve grant and project management processes and develop grants capacity-building resources and trainings for the global More in Common team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
We look for great people before we look for specific qualifications and experience. However, the following will be an asset for this role:

• 2+ years of professional experience working with grants – e.g., grant making, grant management, as part of a development team, or other similar work. Specific roles matter less than demonstrated familiarity with the grant application process and grant requirements.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
• French language fluency a plus; German, Portuguese, Polish or Spanish also beneficial
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and work calmly under pressure
• Can-do attitude and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Highly organised with strong planning and problem-solving skills
• Grant writing experience preferred
• Familiarity with the institutional funding landscape in European countries with More in Common offices (France, Germany, UK, Poland, and Spain) and at the EU level; familiarity with the US a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Salesforce; experience with HubSpot is a plus

Corporate Partnerships Manager £37,555 pro rata 28 - 35 hours per week UK Home-based 

We are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our Fundraising and Communications Team (FRC) at an exciting time in GFS’s history as we enter a new strategic period and turn 150 years old, in 2025. You will lead on the delivery of specific aspects of the organisation’s fundraising strategy including developing new income streams with a focus on corporate partnerships. You will develop broader corporate support and individual giving such as corporate volunteering days and challenge events. You will also lead on our annual fundraising campaigns such as International Day of the Girl and International Women’s Day.

You will work with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to refine our fundraising plan to diversify income streams across corporate partnerships, individual giving (online and in person) challenge events, volunteering days and campaigns and to:

• ensure that income and engagement targets are met as planned/agreed and in line with GFS’s fundraising strategy and plan
• deliver outstanding stewardship for partners and donors
• maintain effective relationships with potential partners and connections, keeping them engaged with GFS’s ongoing work and impact
• maintain a strong network and high visibility within the GFS, and wider women’s sector community and attend key community and networking events.

This role would suit a highly motivated and dynamic individual, with great people skills and a passion for improving the lives of girls and young women through fundraising.

You will have significant experience of successfully developing new fundraising streams, securing new corporate partners and individual giving income as well as;

A proven track record of securing income from a diverse range of income streams.

Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence working with a variety of stakeholders from corporate donors, individual supporters and community members.

The Accelerating Reform Fund is a new initiative which aims to transform social care services, making them more responsive to the needs of the community. It is a national programme, with 42 regions allocated to have their own projects. Greater Manchester is one of the ARF regions. The ARF has a particular focus on unpaid carers and aims to boost short-term breaks for carers and improve hospital discharge processes. This work is made possible by Department for Health and Social Care grants. This role will be based in the Manchester team working to improve hospital discharge processes.

Job Summary

To develop and ensure safe discharge planning and information for patients and unpaid carers. To embed procedures to raise awareness of the needs of carers in a secondary care setting, working in partnership with the discharge, virtual and enablement teams. To empower carers to be involved in the discharge process.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide operational leadership and oversight of the Carers Hospital Discharge Pilot in Manchester. The role involves line-managing a team of three Hospital Discharge Workers across multiple hospital sites, ensuring effective collaboration with hospital staff and community services to support carers. The aim is to enhance the identification and referral of carers, ensuring timely and appropriate support to prevent carer breakdown and facilitate smoother, safer, and more efficient hospital discharges. By fostering strong relationships with health teams, discharge teams, and local services, this role bridges the gap between secondary care and community resources, contributing to improved outcomes for carers and patients alike.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Salford CVS to support a new community engagement and investment programme.

We are looking to recruit a part-time (18.75 hours per week) Development Worker (Movement and Physical Activity) on a 3-year fixed-term contract.

You will lead our role in the Place Partner Investment programme in Salford, funded by Sport England (via GM Moving) and working in partnership with Salford Community Leisure. Salford CVS leads on VCSE engagement and investment, while Salford Community Leisure leads on systems change work.

You will engage and build relationships with VCSE organisations in specific areas of Salford in order to understand barriers to physical activity and existing provisions.

Combining this with knowledge already held at Salford CVS and insight from Salford Community Leisure’s system-wide engagement activity, you will design and deliver an investment programme for VCSE organisations that drives increases in movement and physical activity across various Salford communities.

To be successful, you will be able to engage with people from a wide range of backgrounds, particularly small charities and community groups.
