A newly created role to support in the growth of the organisation, the Finance Officer role is a pivotal position within the finance and wider team. As Finance Officer you will play an important part in creating a robust and innovative financial service delivery to TPG and TPGE staff. You will support with day-to-day financial transactions and a range of accounting tasks in liaison with the Finance Manager, Head of Finance, and wider non-finance stakeholders.

A summary of key duties is as below:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Maintain the sales ledger and all receipts and income
• Reconcile all TPGE Bank accounts monthly.
• Reconcile Balance sheet ledger control accounts monthly.
• Process invoices, payments and receipts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Assist with month-end, quarterly and year-end financial reporting.
• Support the Finance Manager in payroll processing and reports.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders

Every day millions of older and disabled people are denied the social care they need. Most local authorities can’t meet the growing demand for care, and none are confident they can meet their legal duties in the future. This affects all of us - we will all need social care at some point in our lives. 

We all have a right to hold public bodies to account, but most of us cannot afford lawyers so rely on legal aid. The 92% drop in legal aid cases since 2010 means that we have nowhere to turn. Without access to justice, our rights do not exist. The rule of law is broken.

Access Social Care provides free legal advice and information for people with social care needs, helping achieve a better quality of life. The School:

Merchant Taylors’ School is a large Independent Boys’ School, situated in 280 acres of parkland in Northwood, Middlesex.  The School was founded in 1561, is owned by the Merchant Taylors’ Educational Trust and moved to its present site in 1933. Fundraising

· Developing and innovating the school’s regular giving programme, the Merchant Taylors’ Fund, to ensure a consistent income stream and increased participation from alumni, parents and friends.

· In conjunction with external consultants, running our (currently) biennial telephone fundraising campaigns and Giving Days.

· Liaising with school departments, clubs and societies to identify exciting projects to motivate supporters.

· Segmenting and targeting recipients for appeals to ensure the greatest impact and returns.

· Devising the strategy for promoting legacy giving as a means of supporting Merchant Taylors’, and to implement this strategy to increase the number of known legacy pledges to the school.

 Stewardship

Reporting

· Reporting on progress against all objectives to the Development and Alumni Relations Sub-Committee of Governors.

· Where appropriate, working with the Development Executive (Events and Communications), to produce benefactor report publications and contribute to other Development publications.

· Ensuring that all contact with OMTs and parents is recorded on the Development Office’s database, the Raiser’s Edge.

This role oversees delivery of the Trusts and Foundations strategy, including researching and identifying suitable prospects, writing funding applications, and account managing existing Trusts and Foundation supporters. Working with and reporting into the Head of Corporate, Trusts and Events, the post holder will be responsible for working across the organisation to ensure that the most accurate and relevant data is being presented in applications to ensure positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in Trusts & Foundations fundraising at a charity, cultural institution or similar organisation, with a proven track record of securing 5 and 6-figure valued grants in support of an organisation’s key priorities and strategic objectives.  ●  Account management of a portfolio of corporate partnerships, delivering first class stewardship to meet income targets and agreed KPI’s, increasing engagement to deliver maximum potential for Variety

●Management of the new business pipeline and new business approaches, developing leads and identifying prospects, engaging them with our work to grow the partnerships portfolio

●Create comprehensive partnership delivery plans including fundraising, communications, finance, impact reporting with partnership key messaging

●   Write and deliver bespoke propositions, proposals and pitches for new business development meeting agreed KPI’s

In return we are looking for someone that has the following attributes and experience:

•   Experience of managing multiple, large corporate partnerships

•   Experience of managing a variety of different types of partnerships (e.g. employee fundraising, transactional, programme focussed partnerships, corporate foundations, etc)

•   Experience of new business development and securing new partnerships

•   Experience of account management set-up and partnership agreements

•   Good organisational and planning skills

•   Enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated

•   An understanding of the fundraising marketplace and partnership trends

The Football Foundation are partnering exclusively with Robertson Bell in their search for a permanent Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. The Football Foundation are the Premier League, The FA and the Governments charity that helps communities improve their local football and sport facilities through grants.

This newly created Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for providing key insights to support strategic decision-making, ensuring financial performance aligns with business objectives, and embedding a culture of finance business partnering across the Football Foundation (the charity) and the Premier League Stadium Fund (PLSF). Additionally, the role will oversee strategic financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities across the organisation.

The role:

• Lead and consolidate business partnering in the organisation, ensuring close collaboration with management group, department heads, and other key stakeholders to gather insights and ensure alignment on KPI’s and objectives.
• Lead the preparation and execution of the Foundation’s long-term strategic financial plans and annual budgeting processes in an effective and timely manner.
• Responsible for monitoring and providing the relevant financial information form the various funding agreements with partners.
• Accountable for overseeing the production of the monthly ’performance packs’ and associated information – highlighting key trends, issues, and opportunities as appropriate.

The position will be based at The Football Foundation’s head office at Wembley Stadium and requires 2 visits per week to the office, dependent on business need, in addition to attending two-day all team meet ups each quarter. Turn2us is a national charity tackling financial insecurity and its structural causes. We work with co-producers and partners to provide people in financial crisis with the means and agency to get back on their feet, build resilience, move forward with their lives and thrive.

Turn2us and its partners have secured £1.5 million from The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver an ambitious and innovative new programme that will support charities in England and Scotland to empower diverse and marginalised communities to respond to climate change and to get their voices heard in environmental policy and media debates.It will focus on Disabled people, those facing financial insecurity and people from ethnic minority communities. These voices are often the least heard from in national and local debates on our environment. This new work aims to change that.

As part of this programme, The National Lottery Community Fund have funded the creation of an Engagement Manager post at Turn2us to work with those facing financial insecurity. The Engagement Manager employed by Turn2us will deliver activity with smaller charities and grassroots organisations supporting those facing financial insecurity that:

• Increases awareness of the impact of environmental change and related policy on different communities 
• Listens to people in these communities to find out what actions they want charities and local government to take
• Develops shared local environmental policy priorities and empowers these organisations to advocate directly to local and national policy makers
• Identifies actions that these organisations can take to support communities to respond to climate change, and helps organisations to implement them
• Identifies people with lived experience to receive hands on training in order to act as diverse champions to media and policy makers

They will work closely with Community Engagement Managers employed by Disability Rights UK, and Race Equality Foundation, focussed on reaching organisations supporting Disabled people and people from ethnic minority communities. 

We offer flexible working patterns, both in terms of hours and remote working. Please note that all employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 4 days a month on a weekly basis.

As a payroll technician, you will work alongside our award-winning Payroll Bureau team, with responsibility for building relationships with and serving a distinct group of Churches and Christian Charities.

This is a one year fixed term role to cover maternity leave.
