Meet your Manager
In this role you will be managed by Adam Weiss. Adam joined ClientEarth in 2020 and is based in Brussels. He originally came to the organisation as Head of Ocean, Plastics, and Chemicals, and was most recently in the role you are applying for. His background is in human rights and anti-discrimination law.
Main Duties
- Champion ClientEarth’s Regional Strategy - Is accountable for ClientEarth’s programme strategy for Europe, which is co-created with regional Systems Heads, Country Heads, and the Associate Director for the EU.
- Regional Programmatic Delivery - Ensures effective resource prioritisation and capacity planning decisions across regional programmes to maximise impact against global systemic objectives. Manages significant and complex budgets.
- External Leadership & Partnerships - Fosters and grows ClientEarth partnerships across the region to amplify the organisation’s impact in the region.
Role requirements
- Law degree or other legal qualification
- Strong leadership skills and substantial strategic leadership and senior management experience with large teams
- Strong commitment and understanding of environmental issues, and a demonstrated track record in driving positive change for the environment

Key Responsibilities
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
· Working with the Board of Trustees to develop, co-ordinate, and action the Charity’s strategy and business plan. Setting objectives and managing the challenges and conflicting priorities to ensure the viable running of the services we provide
· Ensure the Charity operates in accordance with the Charity Governance Code, its policies and procedures as well as best practices in order to fulfil all legal, statutory and regulatory responsibilities
· Submitting accurate updates, annual returns and other necessary documents to the Charity Commission and Companies House
· Provide regular reports to the Board of Trustees, detailing operational performance, fundraising outcomes, and strategic initiatives
FUNDRAISING AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT
· Develop and execute fundraising strategies to support the organisation’s mission and growth objectives in conjunction with the Grants & Trusts Fundraiser
· Research, prepare and submit funding applications to include Lottery bids.
· Source diverse income streams and funding to ensure long-term financial stability
· Handle the day-to-day finances of the organisation, managing bank accounts and investments and liaising with accountants and auditors
· Monitoring our income and expenditure against targets as laid out in the business plan
· Work with the Board of Trustees to set annual budgets and monitor spending
· Give external presentations showcasing Dressability’s work in order to secure funding
OFFICE MANAGEMENT
· Provide Line Management to a small team of admin employees ensuring efficient operations including monitoring standards and performance and the prioritisation of workloads
· Prepare monthly management accounts & reports for board meetings
· Manage health and safety on the premises as well as adherence to all policies and procedures. Named first Aider.
· Co-ordinate on-site events relating to funding including campaigns, meetings, press briefings, hosting visitors etc
· Liaise with Service Delivery Manager to ensure smooth day to day running of the charity.
· Manage social media & website to increase our reach

This development is key to the success of Alzheimer’s Research UK, and we are looking for a dynamic trainer/facilitator or join the L&D team to cover a period of Maternity leave.
The Learning and Development Trainer/Specialist plays a critical role in designing and delivering a broad range of learning and development programmes and catalogue of courses which support and enable individuals. We deliver a wide range of training from Masterclasses, EDI, Values and Culture, Psychometric profiling and Leadership and Development programmes and this is where you will spend approximately 80% of your time. Most of this training is delivered face to face at our offices in Abington Cambridge.
Responsible for the delivery and evaluation of facilitated classroom-based and virtual learning training, this role will help to create an environment of continuous learning and provide opportunities for individual and team development. This role will work closely with the Learning and Development Co-ordinator and will liaise with training venues, manage bookings, and oversee internal data to evaluate training requirements.
As part of the wider HR Team, the Learning and Development Trainer/Specialist will also work effectively as an integral part to the team by providing input and support into the organisational wide initiatives and projects. In addition, the Learning and Development Trainer/Specialist will proactively contribute to the development of policy, processes and procedures, along with providing comprehensive guidance and support across the charity.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Continue to review, evaluate and build upon the L&D programmes offered, identifying and making recommendations to the Head of Learning & Development to ensure the content remains current and aligned to the strategic direction and business needs.

· Facilitate and deliver a variety of training programmes to new and existing employees, through face-to-face, hybrid (blended) and virtual learning.
· Create and build resources that support our current learning catalogue.
· Create, build and manage LinkedIn learning content to support all L&D initiatives.
· Research training delivery options and resources including digital / online and hybrid (blended) solutions.
· Present learning solutions, logically and with credibility and authenticity, to gain buy-in from stakeholders.
· Confidently engage with learners of varying abilities, using a broad range of training methodologies and questioning techniques.
· Provide support with a learner’s progress by delivering motivational and developmental feedback.
· Manage participation and ensure learning objectives for each training session is achieved.
· Use effective coaching skills to encourage learners to define their personal development plans and achieve their learning objectives.
Training - Course Administration:
· Work with a variety of internal stakeholders to plan and prepare the implementation of any L&D programmes/courses, including advertising courses and dates, monitoring bookings and taking a proactive approach to increase attendance numbers when they are low.
· Complete evaluation mechanisms for learning outcomes including the use of quantitative and qualitative feedback where appropriate.
· Working closely with the L&D coordinator and Head of L&D to collate and analyse data from L&D programmes, courses and initiatives, producing reports for key stakeholders, when requested.
· Measure and assess all L&D programmes and courses for their effectiveness and business relevance and continually seek ways to improve learning solutions.
· As and when required, provide support to the L&D Co-ordinator with the administration of training courses, including diary management and database management.
What we are looking for:
· Learning & Development qualification or experience of working within a Learning & Development environment.
· Demonstrable experience in delivery and facilitating a wide range of learning and development initiatives at all levels.
· Experience of developing and implementing training programmes/workshops (including designing a variety of learning materials).
· Experience of delivering in-person and virtual training to a variety of stakeholders with different learning styles and levels of understanding.

We are looking for an experienced fundraising leader to become their new Senior Head of Relationship Fundraising. This is a wonderful opportunity for a practising Christian to shape and scale high-impact relational fundraising. You will lead and integrate Philanthropy, Trusts & Foundations, and Legacy giving into a high-performing team, driving income beyond £10 million annually.
You’ll champion innovation, and personally steward ultra-high-net-worth donors while ensuring data-driven, replicable fundraising models. As a strategic and relational leader, you’ll bring operational excellence, spiritual maturity, and a coaching mindset to a dynamic, growing team.
Externally, you’ll be a visible ambassador, inspiring partners, representing World Vision UK at key events, and engaging with supporters. Internally, you’ll work cross-functionally to embed relationship fundraising into a multi-channel strategy that delivers exceptional supporter experiences.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- Proven track record of leading and scaling high-value fundraising programmes (philanthropy, legacies, and/or trusts & foundations), ideally within a complex or global organisation.
- Demonstrable success in delivering sustainable, multi-million-pound income growth through relationship fundraising.
- Experience of managing and coaching high-performing teams, with the ability to embed accountability, ownership, and development at all levels.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills, capable of delivering results in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.

About the Role
The Head of Public Affairs and Policy is responsible for overseeing Reprieve’s political engagement and policy work; managing public affairs and policy focused staff; and steering forward advocacy and policy that advances Reprieve’s strategic objectives on behalf of our clients in all the jurisdictions where we operate.
Reprieve’s current policy goals in the UK include prohibiting intelligence sharing where there is a risk of torture or the death penalty, ensuring UK security assistance doesn’t contribute to human rights violations, and ending the practice of citizenship stripping. The role involves close collaboration with Reprieve’s regional and thematic casework teams to encourage states to restrict or end the use of the death penalty or involvement in other human rights abuses such as torture and arbitrary detention.
Reprieve’s work encompasses a number of regions across the world, including the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, South East Asia, and the United States. The policy team provides cross-cutting support to those teams and local experts to advocate for our clients, secure political representation for them, and advance strategic goals.

Location, contract and salary
This is a full-time role, on a one-year fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, subject to funding. The annual salary is £61,003 per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
This role is based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 40% of their working hours from the London office and the rest of the week from home.
