About this role
This is an exciting role that will lead the successful growth and delivery of the Smart Works events and community fundraising programme. Managing the Events Manager, Community Fundraising Manager and Retail Relationship Manager, you will work closely with the Partnerships Team to deliver exceptional events, raise vital funds and secure stock for clients and fundraising.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust Events and Community Fundraising strategy, to generate £800k+ of in-year income, and bolster future financial and community engagement opportunities. The candidate will also work closely with the Head of Wardrobe, growing partnerships with retail brands which support Smart Works’ activities.
We seek an excellent events manager, with experience in delivering end-to-end events, as well as demonstrable experience of fundraising through challenge events and regional community fundraising. An ability to juggle conflicting priorities and exceed set targets will be key.

The role

You will have a demonstrable track record in securing six figure and multi annual grants primarily from trusts, foundations and/or the National Lottery.
You will have the ability to work confidently as a creative and analytical problem solver, and a hands-on fundraiser. CPAG’s fundraised income has grown significantly, and the team raises nearly £3 million annually.
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of fundraising income generation, and leading and supporting a small fundraising team. You will be able to build and nurture relationships with funders, donors and other stakeholders, and have excellent communication skills.

Established in 1985, Muslim Aid has facilitated the engagement of the British Muslim and non-Muslim community in support of its work in a variety of ways. Summary of the role:
The Head of Communications is responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s communication strategy to establish Muslim Aid as a leading faith-based voice and thought leader in international development, humanitarian programming and positive systemic change. This role involves managing all aspects of internal and external communications, including media relations, digital content, and brand management. The Head of Communications will work closely with the Director of Strategy and Communications to ensure that communication efforts are aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals and effectively engage stakeholders.
About the Role:
Develop and implement a comprehensive global communication strategy that enhances the organisation’s public image, engages key stakeholders, and supports the achievement of strategic goals. Ensure that the strategy is flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.
Lead the development and monitoring of annual communication plans that outline key initiatives, campaigns, and activities. Ensure that these plans are aligned with the organisation’s strategic priorities, reflect cross-departmental needs and include clear objectives, timelines, and performance metrics.
Provide editorial oversight for all content produced by the communications team, digital or otherwise: including social media posts, website content, newsletters, press releases, and other written materials. Ensure that all content adheres to the organisation’s messaging guidelines and brand standards.
Act as the overall guardian of the Muslim Aid brand and put in place processes and support to ensure it is represented at its best in all external communications.
Ensure that the organisation’s brand reflects and aligns with organisational identity and is consistently applied across all communication channels. Lead efforts to refresh and strengthen the brand as needed to reflect the organisation’s evolving direction.
Steer strategic engagement with the media to ensure accurate reporting on Muslim Aid’s activities, priorities, principles, and approach, as well as to platform Muslim Aid’s strategic direction and goals, and advance the organisation’s thought leadership.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in a communications role, preferably within an INGO or similar organisation.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful communication strategies, managing media relations, and overseeing digital communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to create compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The Bridge Project South West delivers the Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Service across Devon and Cornwall for all adults and children who have reported, or are considering reporting sexual assault, rape or sexual abuse. The Bridge Project is a service of TWCC Projects Ltd which is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Women’s Centre Cornwall. The Women’s Centre Cornwall are the lead provider and contract holder for the service which is delivered in partnership with Devon Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Services, Intercom Trust, Konnect Communities, The Children’s Society, The Olive Project and West Cornwall Women’s Aid
PURPOSE
Having commenced the service on 1st October 2024, this is an exciting time to join the service. Working closely with the Head of Services, the post-holder will lead the team of experienced staff to realise the innovative new vision for the service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that all adults and children accessing The Bridge Project receive a high quality, trauma informed service that meets their needs and supports any engagement with the criminal justice process
- Ensure that the services are accessible to everyone who needs them and tailored to address any barriers to ensure that individual needs are met
- Ensure that all staff receive high quality line management and support with an emphasis on dynamic caseload management and staff wellbeing
- Line management of Team Leaders and other staff as appropriate
- Provide effective Contract Management including responsibility for performance and reporting
- Ensure that all staff understand their role, practice good professional boundaries and work in accordance with Bridge Project expectations, policies and procedures
- Support the team to embrace the partnership model of working and embed a “team around the person” approach
- Support the Head of Services in strengthening the Bridge Project partnership
- Maintain and develop practice guidelines, procedures and guidance documents in line with best practice, emerging practice and changes in law and other statutory guidance
- Lead effective change management across the service to ensure the successful implementation of improvements and innovation
- Lead on the development and coordination of volunteering and lived experience opportunities across the service including the delivery of training and supporting other staff to deliver training
- Provide support for funding bids and other fundraising activities
- Work closely with the Head of Services on achieving and maintaining relevant service accreditations
- Ensure excellent working relationships and communication protocols with the police, Crown Prosecution Service and Courts.
- Working closely with Impact Manager to fully analyse the effectiveness of interventions for people with different protected characteristics in line with our commitment to Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB).
- To champion Lived Experience voices within the Specialist Support Service and ensure the continued development of comprehensive progression pathways for survivors.
- Ensure that accurate and timely records are maintained by all staff including appropriate case notes, equalities and outcomes monitoring and feedback
- Ensure that safe working practices, including lone working, risk assessments, safeguarding and escalation processes are followed by the whole team and monitored closely by line managers
- Taking an active role in The Women’s Centre Cornwall including attendance at Managers meetings, whole organisation events, reciprocal training, safeguarding and duty cover and representing The Women’s Centre Cornwall alongside the Bridge Project where necessary
- Oversee effective management of any waiting lists and interim support
- Act as a Safeguarding Lead for the servicer
- Completion of internal and external reports including narratives, case studies and data analysis
- Working closely with the CEO and Development Manager to identify and secure additional funding
- To represent the Bridge Project and The Women’s Centre Cornwall at meetings, events and conferences delivering presentations and media interviews as required
- Leading on implementation of agreed annual service development plans within the service including EDIB objectives
- Represent the service at key operational and strategic meetings, locally, regionally and nationally
- Leading effective partnership working including referral pathways and managing sub-contractors and working with lead partners
- Develop and maintain strong and effective working relationships with key external stakeholders
- Ensuring that the service upholds very high standards of confidentiality and is fully compliant with all GDPR requirements

About the role
It’s been an exciting year for the CoppaFeel! Marketing team; we’ve had a brand refresh, onboarded new agencies, launched award winning campaigns and grown a partnership with Love Island. And it’s all been in the name of our mission; to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately in young people.
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Content who will be responsible for the management, production and strategic placement of all organic content across CoppaFeel!’s channels. You will help shape CoppaFeel!’s approach to content so that it appeals, resonates with and converts 18 - 24 year olds across digital and social channels.
You will work alongside other Heads of Dept, bringing your expertise and knowledge to leadership discussions to help shape the future of the organisation.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.
You will report to the Marketing Director and line manage the Social Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, and you will have exposure to the Senior Management Team.
The role
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work as a valued part of the CoppaFeel! leadership team to deliver the organisational strategy, shape the culture and influence cross departmental ways of working
- Develop a holistic, strategic content approach to digital and social channels (including creators and gaming) that will enhance the annual marketing strategy and drive awareness of CoppaFeel! and our mission amongst 18 - 24 year olds.
- Responsible for creating innovative content that’s insight driven and market leading.
- Put production plans and processes in place that allow us to have year round ‘always on’ organic content (web, email, social).
- Lead and inspire creativity across the organisation with a view to becoming social first in everything we do.
- Work with Digital Marketing Manager to audit CoppaFeel!’s website and third party agencies to research, plan and execute Search Engine Optimisation strategies.
- Establish standards, systems, best practices, and workflow processes for managing the content lifecycle, including requesting, producing, distributing, channel selection, measuring, and retiring content.
- Collaborate with our operations team as we adopt a new CRM database.
- Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Line manage the Social Media Manager and Digital Marketing Manager.
- Ownership of the digital budget and quarterly re-forecasting.
- Contribute to quarterly all staff team meetings
- Ensure rigorous reporting and analysis of social and digital activity to ensure delivery of planned KPIs, with an ambition to be constantly improving and evolving.

- Minimum 5 years experience working in a management level content focused role.
- Demonstrable experience of implementing strategic content plans.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The right candidate will have a strong focus on charity administration and development, financial stability, thinking creatively about opportunities for income, and be a passionate advocate for housing justice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure AzuKo’s operations and programme delivery are implemented efficiently and effectively.
- Be responsible for overall financial health and administration of AzuKo.
- Ensure AzuKo fulfils its legal, statutory, and regulatory responsibilities.
- Monitor progress towards strategic goals, plans and budgets.
- Inspire and lead an effective remote team, with a common sense of purpose, division of responsibility, transparency, and accountability.
- Work with the Development Officer to drive fundraising (trusts and foundations, and individual giving), innovating approaches towards existing and new supporters, with regular reviews of fundraising pipeline.
- Maintain accurate and transparent records, and filing systems.
- Consult with the Chair and Treasurer, providing regular updates on finance/fundraising, and progress against annual plan.
- Foster good communication internally within AzuKo, and externally.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Demonstrable track record of operating at leadership level (CEO, or similar) within a small-medium size charity.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK charity administration, finance and regulatory responsibilities (e.g. Charity Commission).
- Experience of working strategically to source, secure and steward sustainable funding (grant income and individual giving) working within tight financial constraints.
- Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and processes, safety, and quality management.
- Comfortable with digital/remote working e.g. use of One Drive, Slack, Zoom.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel) and accounting software Xero.
- Excellent written and communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas in simple language.
- Passionate about the charity sector, and AzuKo’s cause.
