About The Role
Your role as Challenge Events Manager will involve development of event strategies, management of various challenge events and maximizing opportunities and income. You will be creative, innovative with a appetite to grow income. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement a Home-Start network wide challenge event portfolio in virtual, third-party and in person events.
You will have the opportunity to develop opportunities in the sporting sector to maximise growth and impact, alongside potentially managing a small portfolio of corporate partners.
Your exceptional communication and liaison skills will be invaluable as you collaborate with colleagues across Home-Start UK, your suppliers and your portfolio of partners, developing compelling propositions that showcase the voices and stories of the families supported by Home-Start. Your strategic acumen will shine as you cultivate robust engagement and support from across Home-Start UK and the Home-Start network, playing a key role in delivering a successful challenge event programme. You will contribute to the development of high-quality materials that will be used across the fundraising directorate to maximise reach, income growth and impact. IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health and drug & alcohol teams across England. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID). A core element of the programme is the expert assistance provided by a team of IPS experts, known as IPS Grow Leads, to support providers to improve their fidelity to the IPS model and achieve better employment outcomes for their clients. Subject to funding award, we are recruiting to a Project Support Officer. This role will provide essential support to enable the whole team to effectively and efficiently deliver a wide range of provision to IPS services nationally.
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to expand the IPS Grow team, aimed at helping health systems deliver high quality evidence-based employment practice. We are a well-established service, led by Social Finance and are funded by NHS England and DWP to support the expansion of IPS services across mental health and drug and alcohol teams.
We are looking for a Project Support Officer to focus on supporting the IPS Grow team and programme within the Health + Work team at Social Finance. This role will include providing project and administrative support to the team to ensure we have real impact. The role will report into the Team Head for IPS Grow.
Responsibilities
The key requirements of the role are:
Provide project support and coordination of IPS fidelity reviews:

Support the coordination of IPS fidelity reviews;

Support with collection and collation of data, helping generate insight and contribution to the evaluation of our work and of the services we support. This may also include data entry and contributing to standard reports;

Provide support of team events and workshops, both internal and with the services we support;

Provide ad hoc support to other aspects of the team’s project work and take on special projects, as required.
Provide administrative support to the programme:

Support the Senior team within IPS Grow, with project planning and monitoring to ensure the programme remains on track;

Produce documents such as monthly reports which may require collation of input from multiple parties and documents and compiling into spreadsheets or presentation slides, in collaboration with members of the Senior team;

Provide support for co-ordination of IPS qualification delivery and professional registration;

Liaise with regional leads, NHS Trusts and IPS providers and other key stakeholders as required;

Support the delivery of specific administrative tasks and processes including minuting and action-log management of meetings and Boards;

Coordinate diaries, schedule meetings and book rooms with internal and external parties, including arranging for materials and equipment to be available, as required;

Support IPS Grow Leads to schedule complex meetings in their regions;

Monitor team mailbox and act as a first line response for queries;

Book travel and accommodation, including group bookings (e.g., trains, hotels) for the team;

Manage expenses generated by travel and meeting bookings on internal systems, accurately and in a timely manner;

Support the team knowledge management hub and operational manual whilst ensuring a clear document version control and management process in place;
Provide additional administrative support as required from time to time;

Responsibilities
- Contribute to laying the foundations for a new Young Lives (YL) Research Hub on Climate Change and Environmental Shocks.
- Support the Deputy Director to deliver the YL Policy Influencing Strategy and key research-to-policy outputs across the YL programme, including key messages, policy briefs, impact case studies, blogs and other policy focused materials relating to YL research themes. Key themes include education and skills, employment, health & wellbeing and family lives, with a specific focus on the crosscutting impacts of climate change and environmental shocks, poverty and inequalities.
- Track and analyse international and national policy debates, with a specific focus on the impact of poverty, inequalities and climate change on young people in low- and middle-income (LMICs) countries, including the disproportionate effects on girls and women.
- Proactively engage and build relationships with key international policy stakeholders working on the impacts of poverty, inequalities and climate change in LMICs, including policy influencers and practitioners (e.g. governments, donors and civil society), research-to-policy networks and researchers.
- Work closely with the Deputy Director and YL Country Directors to identify opportunities to influence policy debates both internationally and in the four study countries and provide technical support in developing research-to-policy engagement plans.
- Work closely with the YL Head of Communications to ensure research findings and related policy implications are effectively disseminated for maximum impact, including through website and social media, webinars, conferences, policy events and meetings to encourage the maximum uptake and impact of Young Lives evidence. Represent Young Lives at external events and meetings where necessary.
- Provide support to the Young Lives Director and Deputy Director in the development of fundraising proposals and submission of grant applications to generate future Young Lives research income.

- Education to Degree level in a relevant subject (e.g. social or public policy, development studies, sociology, anthropology, or economics).
- Substantial experience in a policy analysis/advocacy role within the international development arena, including experience of developing and implementing policy influencing and engagement strategies.
- Proven track record of contributing to high-quality policy-related publications, including policy briefs and blogs. Significant experience of using research evidence to engage with policy and practice.
- Broad knowledge of relevant international policy and practice debates including the cross-cutting impacts of climate change, poverty and inequalities on young people in LMICs.
- Excellent analytical skills, able to synthesise and distil key messages from a wide range of technical academic research and policy reports.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to write quickly for publication, tailor communications to different audiences for maximum user access and impact, and experience of presenting at external events and high-profile meetings.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a large team as well as independently, to prioritise tasks, to manage multiple demands and to work to deadlines.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with project management experience and a desire to serve churches in Southwark Diocese as part of an initiative enabling spiritual and numerical growth.
Specific projects have been identified in places across the Diocese of Southwark where there is a clear opportunity for growth and funding has been obtained from the Church of England’s Strategic Development Funding (SDF) to support these projects. This role will be key in the successful implementation of our strategy in each of these places, ensuring the plans are implemented and all strategic and operational aspects of the project are co-ordinated and monitored. The Project Manager is responsible for day to day management of the project from initial set up through to successful delivery, working closely with the Programme Manager. This will involve the implementation, co-ordination and tracking of the project plans for the projects that comprise this SDF funded initiative.
About you
- Relevant experience of managing projects in a complex environment is critical, as well as the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders from different disciplines and with differing viewpoints.
- You should have a good awareness and understanding of techniques for planning, monitoring and measuring programmes and projects, including risk management, with a proven ability to support organisational change.

Our Gambling Outreach And Living Support service GOALS is our community-based support service that provides bespoke and holistic 1:1 and group support to individuals and affected other impacted by gambling harms.
Our aim is to deliver an impactful GOALS service across London which builds effective networks of support for people before, during and after treatment.
A main aspect of the role will be to support and work closely with individuals presenting with lived experience of gambling harm issues and/or people affected by this issue. The GOALS Supporter will understand gambling related harm and dependency issues and be able to ensure safe working environments and take a robust lead on safeguarding and harm minimisation procedures and policy.
The post holder will work with the Head of Support Services and GOALS Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of the systems and structure of the service, ensuring that governance and polices are implemented, safeguarding and safe working practices are systematic and develop a clear understanding of how the service integrates with the national gambling treatment service.
Other support activities will be developed, such as group support and weekly meet ups.

We work with adoptive and connected carer families: are a trauma-informed service, and are developing our Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) approach in our work and would also like to expand on our Narrative Therapy and NVR interventions. We have expertise in working with children with neuro-diversity and children with special educational needs. The team have a strong track record in developing group creative therapeutic interventions, including the recent ‘Family Harmony’ intervention. This is a multi-family group to promote healthy family relationships using systemic, music and art therapy approaches. We work within diverse communities and we consciously challenge ourselves and our practice, seeking at all times to develop opportunities for anti-racist practice. The role:
We are seeking an experienced Systemic Psychotherapist to lead our adoption and special guardianship therapeutic support including multi-disciplinary assessments, and family interventions. To also offer supervision and consultation within the team contributing to the running of the clinical service and to RAA and VAA social workers and other connected professionals.
The successful candidate will be an experienced systemic psychotherapist with a background in CAMHS and/or a social care service. They will have an interest in working with adopted children and SGO families, and working with creative therapists. Experience of running multi-family groups would be an advantage. They will be expected to take overall responsibility for family therapy interventions and to support the development of innovative projects as required.

The key duties of this Senior Finance Business Partner are as follows:
- Business partner with the Senior Management Team to develop knowledge of their Directorates.

The successful candidate will have:
- Achieved their full accountancy qualification.
- Have extensive experience of working within a management accounts or business partnering function, of a complex organisation.
- Substantial experience in the preparation of financial management information, including the production and monitoring of budgets, forecasts, financial models and delivery of associated reporting, analysis and commentary.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse numbers critically, extracting pertinent information for management.
- Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ideally, knowledge of charity accounting (SORP).

The Help for Heroes Community Development team are looking to recruit a team of Community Builders to assist in their reshaped participation and connection strategy. Using Asset Based Community Development, we seek to support the charity’s objective to enhance reach and positive impact for members of the Armed Forces Community facing challenges within their local communities.

About You
You will have experience leading and facilitating the mobilisation of local communities, asset mapping, bringing together people for engagement that matters to them. You will have knowledge and experience of Asset Based Community Development work, outreach methods and you will have good organisational skills, energy and the ability to animate local communities.

- Deliver outreach to drive local connection, engagement and participation opportunities for the AFC

About the Team

Key Responsibilities:
Appeal Coordination:
- Assist the Direct Marketing Manager - Acquisition in keeping member agency fundraising directors and key suppliers up to date in the run-up to and during appeals.
- Update the fundraising and marketing team budget tracker, ensuring accurate financial tracking throughout the appeal process.
- Support the setup and management of Appeal Toolkits and Appeal Hubs, providing essential assets to staff, member agencies, and suppliers.
