This is a new role giving you the opportunity and responsibility to build on our successful fundraising and extend our appeal to new donors as well as maintain our existing supporters. You will need demonstrable fundraising experience and the ability to work confidently as a strategic thinker and as a practical fundraiser. As head of fundraising you will work closely with the CEO to grow charitable income and philanthropic support from governments, individuals, trusts and foundations, corporate companies and other areas. You will be a confident and capable leader who will work with colleagues towards supporting an annual programme of circa £3m. This role is crucial to building the charity's long-term sustainability, with a focus on exploring innovative opportunities.

Role Requirements
- Working alongside the Head of Public Fundraising, you will strengthen and implement business planning, pipeline and budgeting processes as well as devise comprehensive audience-led stewardship plans, maintaining momentum and focus to achieve targets.

- Work across the Retail, Fundraising and Communications directorate to maximise opportunities for contact mapping, cross-sell and support the activity of other teams within the directorate (including but not limited to stock donations, sponsorship of committee-led events, pro bono support, gifts in kind etc.)
- Be responsible for the implementation of the budgets and delivery of income and expenditure against the plans

The role
You’ll be key to delivering our corporate partnerships income strategy, identifying and driving vital new business as well retaining longer term support from priority sectors. Additional Information

About the Role
The Director of Partnerships will lead TASC’s partnership efforts, responsible for cultivating and securing new partnerships, and delivering on partnership strategies. Reporting to: Head of Corporate Partnerships
Location of work: Home-based with approximately one or two office days per month and travel for team days and events. The role may involve some irregular travel throughout England and Scotland. Expenses will be paid in line with our Travel and Expenses policy.

JOB PURPOSE
As part of the Corporate Partnerships team in the Fundraising and Development directorate, Partnership Development is responsible for leading on securing new, high-value, strategic partnerships to support our vision of ensuring that no child or young person is too hungry to learn now and for good.
As the Partnership Development Lead, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and delivery of the new business strategy, as well as working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to pull together and deliver compelling proposals and pitches. The role will line manage the Senior Partnership Development Manager and Partnership Development Manager, working together to achieve the goals and priorities of the team.
