What the job involves

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Fundraising professional to join our Individual Giving Team, focussing on our mid value programme and assisting with the production and development of campaigns aimed specifically for this audience. This role will be a fixed term contract for 13 months covering maternity leave.

Direct Marketing plays an important role in the organisation’s fundraising and overall corporate strategy, and we have seen a fantastic growth in our mid-value programme to date. We’re looking for a confident and proactive fundraiser to take responsibility for the delivery and development of this new audience and further shape the programme.

As a Direct Marketing Executive, you’ll use a range of channel content to reach and meet the needs of your audience and tailor your approach based on audience insight.

You’ll deliver timely, targeted, relevant communications to warm mid value audience, to engage them wider with the work of Prostate Cancer UK with the overall aim to increase their life-time value.

With internal and external stakeholders, you’ll project manage direct marketing campaigns in the form of seasonal appeals, email updates, and occasional stewardship events. You’ll consistently review KPIs and make evidence-based choices to help assist with growing the programme and delivering our overall financial target.

What we want from you

Excellent knowledge and experience of working in a fundraising environment is vital, you’ll also be able to demonstrate your knowledge and/or experience of stewarding donors by understanding the importance of meeting their needs.

You’ll possess first class communication skills; a strong team ethic and you will be at ease working with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ability to manage expenditure budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance. Knowledge of direct marketing and fundraising law would be advantageous as well as philanthropy experience.

Key Strategic Responsibilities

• Scope and drive forward funding & partnership opportunities in support of sustainability and growth.
• Collaborate, take shared accountability, influence and control for internal and outward facing operational strategies/delivery.
• Interface directly with funders/commissioners, managing relationships and integral contracts. 
• Grow Involve Northwest’s network of commissioners and strategic/mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Have an understanding where Involve Northwest sits within the competitive landscape.
• Consider the organisation, its destination and routes to that destination with ‘out of the box’ thinking.
• Reviewing all aspects of service provision and roles of Involve Northwest including management and responsibility of company assets, including the building, owned by Involve Northwest, which is tenanted.

Partnerships Management

Involve Northwest is predominantly funded through contracts with central and local government. The role will focus on growing Involve Northwest’s network of commissioners and strategic/mutually beneficial partnerships to secure future commissions in new delivery themes or areas in the Northwest that align with our strategy and vision. Role Overview -

The Multibank Manager will focus on driving the growth and impact of the West Midlands Multibank by building strong relationships with referral and donation partners, overseeing daily operations including inventory management and distribution, and ensuring the project's financial sustainability through effective communications and fundraising. • Engage with organisations to establish and maintain an appropriate network of referral partners to support those in need to access the support of the Multibank

· Manage the day to day running of the West Midlands Multibank, including the referral and distribution processes and inventory management

• Manage the work of the Logistics Co-Ordinator with additional Multibank staff to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Multibank
• Manage Health and Safety processes within the Multibank
• Collaborate with referral and distribution partners and the Logistics Co-Ordinator to ensure available inventory is appropriate for local communities and meeting identified need

What will I be doing?

Creating high-quality collateral and delivering tailored promotion for funders through our social media channels, website, CYT newsletter, and impact reports.

Day to day, you will take photos and videos at CYT events, write social media posts, write case studies and success stories, support the organisation and delivery of internal and external events – all with the aim of increasing engagement with key CYT funders and in-kind supporters.

What knowledge and experience are we looking for?

· Experience of creating engaging visual media including photography and videography etc.

· Experience in digital communications and confidence with managing social media

· Working knowledge of design software (e.g. InDesign, Canva)

NOTE: prior knowledge of the construction and built environment sector is not an essential requirement of this role.

Cleanup Champions work closely with Cleanup Hubs and other partner organisations to encourage more people to get involved in litter picking locally. 

We are keen to find cheerful people, with a sense of fun, who care about the environment and enjoy chatting to people of all backgrounds.   

Main Purpose of the Role:   

• To increase the number of people borrowing litter picking equipment from the Cleanup Hubs in your local area. 

• To represent CleanupUK at a local level by attending litter picking events and supporting the development of the Cleanup Hub network.   

• To develop strong relationships with partner organisations in the community: 

• Supporting existing Cleanup Hubs to increase levels of engagement in their area by contacting new groups. 

• Research and develop potential new partner organisations.

• Liaising with Cleanup Hubs and local communities.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference by playing a vital role in our work across the North West. This role will be responsible for engaging volunteers and working with partners across the area to raise funds and awareness for RABI.

You will work with our committees to develop their events and embed good practice – as well as identify and test new initiatives to reach and involve new audiences.

To be the RABI lead for volunteering and community engagement across the region to include the researching, developing and supporting local community fundraising across the region.  Working closely with volunteers, county committees and local partners – developing, delivering and evaluating new initiatives to reach new audiences, grow support for RABI and make a difference for the farming community.

Key Responsibilities:

• To increase awareness of the charity within the farming/rural community to enable RABI to reach more people in need of support
• To proactively network and build and maintain strong relationships with a range of local stakeholders such as (corporates) companies, agricultural suppliers, auction marts, colleges and community groups – through presentations, attendance at local events / shows etc.
• To work with other RABI departments to improve relationships with supporters – identifying those with national importance and capturing information / data in CRM

• Understanding of marketing and/or fundraising principles including legal compliance and Data Protection.
