We are looking for two Senior Finance Business Partners to join our Finance and Commercial team on a full time, permanent basis.

Your focus will be to deliver strong and effective financial management within your designated Directorate at RBL. You will provide senior financial and commercial support, analysis, challenge and advice to enable decision making on a sound financial basis. Developing trusted relationships with the senior management team and budget holders to ensure financial projections, budgets, forecasts, and business cases are robust and aligned with organisational strategy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Executive Director, Directors, Heads of Departments and budget holders to support the preparation of long-term strategic plans, annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts
- Taking a lead role to ensure that new projects are subject to effective financial planning and commercial control, influence budget holders and provide technical and strategic insight in order to achieve the Directorates’ overall objectives
- Review and challenge draft budgets and forecasts to ensure submissions are complete, accurate, deliver value for money and remain within overall financial framework targets
- To lead the review of the monthly management reports and ensure comprehensive and insightful analysis and commentary on key variances
- Attend monthly management meetings to present consolidated and departmental monthly financial results, drawing out major financial trends and issues.

Main Areas of Responsibility
Your role will be to jointly support our team in leading our educational programmes, the Harris Experience (HE) and Harris Experience Advanced (HEA), which are already in place from Year 9 through to Year 13. The HE programme spans three years for each cohort, from Year 9 to Year 11; the HEA programme spans two years for each cohort, from Year 12 to Year 13. Both programmes aim to broaden the cultural and academic experiences of some of our brightest young secondary students in the federation, to give them an outstanding preparation for some of the UK’s top university destinations, including Oxford, Cambridge and medicine. The Senior Multiple Needs Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) will work within a dynamic, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service based at the CGL Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone. The IDVA will provide support in the local community and at the Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone. The successful candidate will be co-located up to 5 days a week at the Women’s Wellness Zone.
The IDVA will be closely working alongside CGL colleagues/team to deliver support to women with a range of complex support needs including substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, sex working, trafficking, and offending behaviour. The IDVA will work in collaboration with their team members to holistically support women in the borough of Ealing to achieve sustained recovery, improved health and wellbeing, helping women to manage/mitigate risks, and empowering them to reach their fullest potential in society as well as ensuring the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process.
The Senior Multiple Needs IDVA will assess the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support. As well as identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs. They will also proactively advocate and advice women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies, encouraging them to engage with other agencies, and help co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support where necessary.
About You:
To be successful as the Senior Multiple Needs IDVA you will need to have:
Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC. As well as understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.
Bringing your experience of risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, and crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals and experience of working in a co-located setting with another agency and providing consultations/briefings to professionals to support in upskilling them around Domestic Abuse. The candidate will have experience of partnership working and of maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to work as part of an innovative service, designed to offer multi-disciplinary wrap-around support to women with multiple needs, with the aim of facilitating long-term recovery.

The fundraising team at Leeds Castle was established relatively recently, in January 2023, and is responsible for securing funds from trusts, foundations, public bodies and individuals. There is a vast ongoing cost to care for a 900-year-old Castle and Estate and they need to generate income above and beyond the successful visitor & hospitality businesses. The postholder will play a crucial role in delivering a funding strategy to support their new multi-million-pound project ‘safeguarding the Castle for the next 900 years’.
The successful candidate will bring strong knowledge and experience in trust and foundations fundraising, with a clear record of funding achievement. Working with the Head of Audience Development & Fundraising, you will drive forward their fundraising strategy, strengthen the trusts and foundations pipeline and apply for match funding opportunities. The successful candidate will be resilient and highly motivated, an excellent writer with a strong attention to detail. They will be a good researcher and relationship builder, keen to secure great financial results to support Leeds Castle’s ambitions.
The new fundraising department will focus on creating a fundraising strategy, setting up systems and processes, researching approaches and building their pipeline of funders almost from scratch. As Care Operations Manager, you will have full oversight of the daily operations of the organisation, and will work to maximise the number of carers supported in Surrey/care hours delivered, and ensure the charity is fully compliant in line with regulatory guidance and legislation.

The Financial Accountant is a temporary but crucial role for the Diocese, as you will ensure that our processes and financial information are accurate and efficient, in time for next year’s financial end.
As Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the restricted and designated funds of the Diocese, preparing monthly reports and year end schedules whilst proactively reviewing the portfolio of restricted funds to ensure full utilisation against unrestricted expenditure. You will also take the lead on the re-organisation of investment funds to ensure efficient month end processes as well as managing the fixed asset journals and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage the preparation of VAT Return workings and associated reconciliations whilst delivering the monthly close process, analysing transactions and preparing required journals.
It is expected that you will proactively challenge and improve processes to ensure that currently held information or journals meet the audit standard.
Degree qualified or with a professional accountancy, finance or related qualification, you will have experience in VAT return preparation and compliance.
With the ability to interpret financial entries to understand the nature of the financial transactions, you should have excellent problem-solving abilities and be proactive in reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and clearing/or allocating balances.
Your detail-oriented approach towards accuracy and completeness in financial records and reports will ensure you are able to propose improvements to financial procedures and operations.
An advanced knowledge and understanding of Excel, including pivot tables, sumif/sumifs and vlookups along with a thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements, are essential.
A natural communicator, you should have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills as well as having the ability to work well in a team and build effective working relationships with colleagues, and external stakeholders, suppliers and customers.

The Education and Outreach Manager will work directly with the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team to manage existing projects and to shape and develop new initiatives. You’ll work in partnership with education providers, community groups and charities to ensure that Bath Cats and Dogs Home’s expertise and resources are directed to those most in need, and where we’ll have the biggest impact for animal welfare.

The successful candidate must have or be:
•CIPD membership at Chartered or Fellow level or equivalent experience
•Sound understanding of UK employment law is essential
•Sound understanding and proven experience of HR processes, including but not limited to, change management, organisational development, ER case work, resourcing, compensation and benefits, policy development
•Proven experience of HR business partnering and substantial skills and experience of HR management at a senior level within in a large organisation
•A good understanding, commitment and sympathy with Islamic Relief’s Values, principles and mission
•Proven ability and experience in people and activity management as well as delegating roles and authority in a way in which enables teams to reach their targets/objectives
•Proven experience of developing and implementing strategies and work plans which help to deliver the wider organisational objectives
