About the role
We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team. You will support impact measurement and evaluation across a suite of over 20 Young Enterprise programmes and services, plus fundraising, marketing, volunteering and alumni activity. You will be involved in collating learning from across Young Enterprise, including leading on data collection through our existing systems, analysis and disseminating findings through various means including our internal evidence hub, external reports, senior leadership updates and internal project reports.
This is a fast-moving role which will require you to have a flexible approach. You will be able to work independently on impact and evaluation tasks (with guidance from the Head of Impact and Insights) while working closely with colleagues from a range of teams and functions across the charity. The ability to manage your workload across multiple projects is a key part of this role, as well as thinking broadly and creatively about improving and embedding good impact practice at Young Enterprise as an integral part of our upcoming Transforming Futures strategy (2024-2030).

Overall purpose
This is a key role that will work closely with the Senior Communications Manager, Head of Public Engagement and Senior Digital Marketing Manager.
You will contribute to the implementation of our communications, engagement and fundraising strategies, ensuring that your work is anchored in our organisational and team strategic goals. You will also be closely involved in team planning, whether it’s inputting into our operational plan or sharing ideas for new campaigns.
There are opportunities to get hands-on developing and delivering communications and fundraising campaigns to educate and inspire individuals, businesses, and other audiences. The aim of these campaigns is to help remove barriers to employment for refugees and bring about systemic change via our partnerships. Please note, we do not currently run political campaigns.
You will be responsible for creating and delivering day-to-day communications across our owned channels (social media, email newsletters, and some website content). You will also help colleagues create content for earned and paid communications that they’re leading on (press and media, digital marketing, engagement with influencers)
A team player, you will build strong relationships across Breaking Barriers so that you can source and develop content that:
- increases our visibility and influence
- showcases our impact
- inspires members of the public to help refugees build new lives in the UK
- engages and stewards our key audiences, including corporate partners, employees who advocate for refugees, individual donors, volunteers, and people of a refugee background.
You will support the Senior Communications Manager to maintain our strong brand, ensuring that all our content complies with our brand guidelines and is of a high standard.
With a good eye for detail, you will play a key role in our data management, including overseeing data on the storytelling section of our CRM, monitoring communications enquiries, and setting up and running reports. You will become a Salesforce Superuser (full training and support will be provided for this).

Terms and Conditions
- Location: This is a hybrid role with two days at MAF UK, 1st Floor Castle House, Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 2TQ. One day per week will be spent at our Operations Centre, MAF International, Henwood, Ashford, TN24 8DH and the other two days can be from home.
- Working Hours: This is a full time role (at least 36 hours per week, with 1 hour for lunch daily unpaid) but requiring some flexibility on the successful candidate to work additional hours occasionally some of which could be outside the normal business hours. Hours should be agreed with line manager.

Dreamflight is an independent UK charity that provides amazing holidays for children with a serious illness or disability.
Since 1987 we have taken over 6,500 children on their holiday of a lifetime to Orlando and in recent years have expanded to also offer exciting activity holidays in the UK. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To work with the Head of Fundraising & Communications in order to:

· Maintain accurate records on all fundraising activity via the Salesforce database
· Report back on a regular basis to the Head of Fundraising and Communications
· Ensure donors and fundraisers are consistently and appropriately thanked

Main aim: To oversee, plan and steer the administration across the organisation. With proven skills and experience to confidently approach different tasks and requests throughout the day with a solution-focused, confident and resilient working manner. You will lead, support, unite and develop the office administration team, so that great things can be achieved. The role needs someone who instinctively takes the approach of reviewing and developing systems, tracking progress on projects and thrives on organising and planning a busy calendar of work.
Holding oversight for the bemix mainline, email inboxes and other communication channels, ensuring all are well-manned across the whole week by the administration team and answered in a friendly, helpful and professional manner. Stepping in to provide practical help when needed, to ensure an excellent pathway of communication (both external and internal) is maintained at all times.
Hours: Working 37 hours per week, working Monday - Friday between 9am - 5pm . Working hours need to have flexibility to respond to tight deadlines with extra hours, taken as time off in lieu.
Location: Mainly at the Canterbury Innovation Centre, University of Kent site, Canterbury. With great facilities, including free parking, cafe, reliable local transport connections and lovely outside spaces to explore on breaks/lunch/walking supervision. With flexibility and commitment to travel and work at other bemix locations and sites, as the role needs demand.
Salary and benefits: In the range of £30,000 - £34,000 per annum. With an offer made based on experience and proven track record. Along with generous 25 days annual leave pro rata plus 8 bank holidays + Contributory Pension Scheme option (5% of pay)

World Obesity Federation is seeking an Events Coordinator to join their team as maternity cover.
World Obesity Federation (WOF) is a worldwide federation with over 100 members and takes a holistic view of obesity from cause and prevention to treatment. WOF is a lead partner to global agencies on obesity, including WHO, and a member of the Global Obesity Coalition.
This position will begin assisting the Events Manager with the events programme and continue as maternity cover in 2025. Main responsibilities will include managing the educational events programme including in person obesity management training courses ‘Scope Schools’ as part of the SCOPE e-learning site held regularly throughout the year, and monthly educational webinars, alongside the Head of Education.
Also working with Head of Policy on medium sized events such as the Global Obesity Forum in person in New York in September 2025, and other smaller policy and fundraising meetings throughout the year. Also included in the role is managing webinars for World Obesity Day and other campaign days.
It will also involve managing the planning of the bi-annual congress the International Congress on Obesity to be held in Mexico City June 2026, overseeing the work of the PCO and organising committees to ensure development is on schedule and key milestones are achieved.

Report to: Head of Food Distribution and Volunteering
Responsible for: Leading the food distribution service and quality assurance at Hackney Foodbank’s allocated Food Distribution Centres located across the borough of Hackney. This includes ensuring all our visitors have a positive experience when collecting their food parcels and are signposted to other provisions appropriately; being responsible for directing the volunteers, working closely with the Head of Food Distribution and Volunteering, Health and Safety, and promoting best practice at each centre. This role will also involve administrative tasks, organising and carrying out home deliveries for visitors, inputting data on visitors’ journeys accurately into a database, driving the Hackney Giving Van occasionally and regularly driving a Luton van to the various Distribution Centres.
Part-time: 25 hours per week, evening and/or weekend work is required
Salary: £27,500 per year (pro-rata for 25 hours per week)
Compulsory: Must have a UK manual driving licence
