We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Interim Head of Marketing to join the RNIB and lead the transformation of their Marketing Delivery function. As the Interim Head of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading the transition to a new marketing model within the Engagement function. This is an incredibly exciting role for an experienced marketer with excellent leadership skills. This is an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend and apply for the permanent role.

Lead the Marketing Delivery Team:

• Form and lead a new Marketing Delivery team.
• Line manage senior leaders, including Senior Marketing Managers, and guide them through the transition into new roles.
• Work closely with the Director of Brand, Marketing, and Communications to set the vision, direction, and objectives for the Marketing team through to 2025-26.
• Conduct an audit of key skill gaps in senior roles and lead recruitment efforts to fill these vacancies.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to the team, helping them acquire new skills and reach their potential.
• Leave a comprehensive development plan for the incoming Head(s) of team.

Support the Transition to a New Marketing Model:

• Collaborate with teams to help redesign and refine ways of working within both Marketing Delivery and Strategic Marketing.
• Champion the transition to a more agile marketing model that aligns with strategic goals and customer insights.
• Work with Heads, Leads, and Manifesto to pilot new ways of working across the organization.
• Partner with colleagues in CX and Digital to ensure a seamless integration with customer experience and digital engagement initiatives.

Person specification:

• Proven leadership experience in marketing, with a strong track record of managing senior teams and driving change.
• Experience in strategic marketing and marketing delivery, particularly in transforming and optimizing marketing models.
• Strong skills in coaching and mentoring senior leaders, with a focus on skill development and team empowerment.
• A collaborative approach, able to work cross-functionally with other teams (CX, Digital, etc.) to drive business objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to influence and inspire teams.
• Agile and adaptable, with experience in leading organizational change initiatives.

What's on offer:

The National Pro Bono Centre brings together charities dedicated to the providing pro bono legal services and improving access to justice.   We serve as a central resource for charities who help people seeking free legal advice and representation.  Our work fosters collaboration, coordination, and improved service delivery among stakeholders in the pro bono sector. Through our work, the Centre supports the wide range of pro bono projects and brokerage which charities provide; helping individuals and communities all over England and Wales get access to justice.

The role:

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent operational and administrative skills and will be comfortable working regularly in a physical office setting. Key Responsibilities:

Events Coordination:

• Assist in organising key London events for the National Pro Bono Centre, including:
  • The Commercial Litigators’ Forum (CLF) reception and other evening events and
  • Pro Bono Week events in early November.
• Collaborate with event leads and key stakeholders to define event objectives and support requirements.
• Serve as the main point of contact for speakers and attendees, providing logistical support leading up to and on the day of the events.

Justice Hub Management:

• Bring vision and energy to make the Hub an exciting, collaborative space for access to justice charities.
• Act as the key liaison point for the Founding Members and other organisations using the Justice Hub, managing desk and room bookings.
• Coordinate with the International Dispute Resolution Centre, where the Hub is based, in relation to the operational and administrative management of the Hub.
• Oversee booking systems, health and safety procedures, and office management for the Hub.

It is also anticipated that you will combine both aspects of this role in organising future events at the Justice Hub, bringing together key people from across the legal charity sector to collaborate and share ideas and best practice.

About you:

We are looking for someone with 2 to 4 years proven event management experience and strong office management knowledge. 

As part of the role, you will be required to work in the office at least 2 days per week, with the flexibility to travel to London for supplier and venue meetings when required.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Ability to build positive relationships with key stakeholders, charities, and both current and future users of the Hub. 
• Ability to work proactively and on your own initiative, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency, including for others. 
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in setting up and improving administrative systems, particularly in relation to IT and office management.

This role is a core member of the Senior Management Team and plays an integral part in providing senior leadership within the Trust. The post holder will also deputise for the Head of Financial Management as necessary.

About you

To succeed in the role at DCH, you will:

* Be a qualified Accountant with substantial financial management experience in a medium to large and complex organisation.

Position: CE355 Head of Corporate Partnerships

Location: Home-based, UK, Nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings).

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Salary: Circa £62,500 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,100 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

The Role

This role will lead our Corporate Partnerships team to build transformational partnerships that raise vital funds and create real change for people affected by stroke.

In this pivotal role, you’ll:

• Develop and execute an ambitious growth strategy for corporate partnerships

• Lead and inspire a high-performing team to secure new high-value partnerships

• Collaborate across the charity to create innovative, impact-driven propositions 

• Manage key internal and external stakeholders, aligning partnerships with the charity’s mission

As part of the High Value Engagement leadership team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping future growth and making a lasting impact.

A big focus of this role will be on securing new partnerships so this role will suit someone with a strong business development background. 

About You

You will have experience of:

• Winning and managing six-figure+ partnerships across various income streams, including Strategic, CRM, and Charity of the Year.

• Developing innovative and winning partnership concepts. 

• Public speaking, with experience in pitching to secure new partnerships.

• Leadership, including line and ideally second-line management.

• Budget management, with strong numerical skills to set, monitor, and interrogate income as well as programme budgets.

At Great Western Air Ambulance Charity, we’re looking for a new Head of HR and Compliance to join our Charity Leadership Team. This role will lead our people practice and ensure our team work collaboratively and compassionately in serving our communities. You will support change management, compliance with all types of regulation, including safeguarding and data protection, and lead on monitoring key risks.

You’ll need to be an excellent communicator, flexible, highly collaborative, and have broad knowledge of HR and related systems. Detailed knowledge of compliance is desirable but not essential, however a desire to learn and broaden your skillset is necessary, as is a passion for our cause. Whilst having experience of working with a charity would be beneficial, it is not essential.

You will manage a part-time HR and Business Assistant who carries out a variety of administrative tasks.

We’re looking for someone who is dedicated to doing their best, a person who can both lead and collaborate, who has compassion for our team, supporters and stakeholders and who is curious about exploring new approaches and keen to learn and develop. Whilst having experience of working with a charity would be beneficial, it is not essential.

In November 2024 we published our new England funding Portfolio, ensuring the £3 billion we will distribute to England’s communities by 2030 supports the successful delivery of It Start’s With Community. 

As we start to deliver on our new funding portfolio we established a new Portfolio Development Team to sit at the heart of the Fund’s England directorate. This team sets the direction for our funding, ensuring our whole funding portfolio is delivering on our four community-led missions; our commitment to take an equity based approach to tackling inequality; and our ambition to be more than a funder. 

England Portfolio Development Team

The permanent England Portfolio Development Team is taking forward the new England portfolio, ensuring we are delivering impact through our current funding portfolio whilst also looking to the future and developing new funding initiatives and ways of working to meet our 2030 vision. 

This small team of eight works across the whole England directorate, the wider Fund, and externally with people, communities and civil society organisations who share our vision. 

The team is responsible for:

• Setting the direction for our funding, including setting out the change we want to support in England’s communities through our funding and gathering insights to assess whether we are succeeding or not
• Thinking, exploring and leading on portfolio development and implementation of the new funding portfolio – ensuring we are delivering impact across our current funding portfolio (national, regional, small grants) and developing new funding initiatives and ways of working where necessary
• Leadership and direction for England’s stakeholder engagement, partnerships, knowledge learning and impact and external communications
• Leading, influencing, learning, external relationships, horizon scanning, providing intelligence and subject matter expertise

We are looking for ambitious, creative and passionate people to join this team to help us make It Start’s With Community real in communities in England. The team will work to Sarah Baker and Hannah Rignell, Deputy Director Policy and Partnerships.

Key activities will include:

• Delivering on the portfolio level theory of change which clearly sets out the change we want to support through our funding in England’s communities
• Gathering and analysing insights to understand and effectively articulate the impact we are making through our new portfolio, including commissioning research and analysis, convening partners, stakeholders and communities where necessary; and ensuring that insight informs funding practice
• Engaging extensively internally, harnessing the expertise and insights of the wider England directorate and working across the Fund to ensure we link appropriately to ‘One Fund’ approaches
• Delivering our new approach to external engagement, partnerships, policy development, positioning and influencing in England in line with our community-led missions, more than a funder priorities and new ways of working
