Summary of Role
We are looking for someone to join Choose Love who has demonstrable experience in designing, setting up and maintaining a user-friendly and efficient supporter database and who has a deep commitment to positively impacting the lives of displaced people around the world. The successful candidate will also have strong analytical skills and be passionate about understanding trends and patterns from our donations, which can help us increase our fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection, Management and Analysis:

Maintain and oversee all Choose Love data, ensuring all data is accurate, up-to-date and clean.

Work with the digital strategist and head of communications to scope and assess the most effective and efficient ways for Choose Love to collect, process, analyse, and report on data, feeding it into the mid and long-term strategy.

Work closely with external suppliers, leading on data management and systems.

Support finance team and digital strategist in tracking donations to key fundraising appeals, including emergency fundraisers and winter fundraising campaigns.

Manage data flows across our different platforms and support the implementation of automation processes where appropriate.

Work closely with departments across the organisations, specifically Comms & Marketing, Partnerships and Programmes and respond to internal requests for fundraising data analysis and reporting.

Create monthly reports on fundraising performance across comms activities to share with the team and embed best practices in future fundraising content.
Fundraising and Donor Optimisation:

Work with digital strategists to optimise fundraising communications and reporting.

Integrate data analysis into digital fundraising strategy.

Analyse the performance of fundraising campaigns and recommend improvements.

Segment audiences for fundraising campaigns based on various criteria (e.g., donation history, demographics) through managing datasets.

Essential Criteria:

Extensive experience with different database systems and knowledge of data maintenance

This is a new role in our People team and we are looking for an energetic and dependable People Operations & Systems Manager to work closely with our Head of People and Culture, to help implement best people strategies and practices to secure a sustainable organisational culture. This role reports into the Head of People & Culture and is a mixture of remote working and office based.
You will be liaising with all colleagues on HR practices and school and regional based practitioners; together with all Line Managers. Setting goals for people operations deliverables to track the department’s outputs and goals in line with our vision and values. Supervising and managing the people administrator and the L&D Advisor to manage the following:
- Reviewing and approving necessary modifications to the people operations department’s efforts from time to time.
- Overseeing specific tasks such as the full recruitment procedure, together with the People administrator.
- Full responsibility for payroll management; together with Finance and outsourced payroll bureau.
- Responsible for all our People HR/Training/ATS systems to ensure they are managed effectively and fit for purpose.

- Ensuring that there is a healthy environment for all our employees to work in and that the people department’s workflow is efficient and compliant, at all times.
- Ensuring that DBS management is up to date; liaising with the safeguarding teams with any updates on DBS processes.

- Managing all ER delivery to ensure dispute management is maintained.

About the role
The Ambassador and Media Relations Manager is key to amplifying the work of Help Musicians and its sister charity, Music Minds Matter, through external communications.
This role will grow our audiences by aligning high-profile voices with our marketing campaigns, press opportunities and communications strategies, consistently increasing the reach of the two charities. Purpose of the job
The Head of Digital will be responsible for leading our digital, IT and information systems. They will also have oversight of AV and for the technical development of online education materials.
The post holder will lead the digital transformation of the organisation, continuously improving the effectiveness and impact of the Society. They will lead resource planning, management, reporting and coordination of projects/initiatives to deliver change in line with business requirements. This will involve leading end to end delivery digital projects, including technology delivery and change management required to improve, implement and embed digital systems, IT infrastructures and processes.
Main responsibilities
- Project manage major digital projects and ensure relationships with external stakeholders and engagement with Members, Staff and Service Users are all managed effectively.
- Research solutions and make recommendations for the improvement of systems and infrastructure.

Background
The European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO) is one of the world’s pre-eminent symphony orchestras. An orchestra of dynamism, youthful energy, and passion shaped afresh each year with highly talented musicians from all 27 EU Member States. Recognised across the world for the excellence of its music-making, and for its success in nurturing the careers of generations of young musicians, the EUYO is always at the forefront, anticipating and reacting to the changing world around it, equipping its members for careers in that world and forging change within the classical music and cultural sectors.
For the past half-decade, the statutory public funding won by the EUYO was sufficient to finance its activities. Now, with a new base in Austria, an expanded programme, preparations for its 50th anniversary, and with the challenges of current general global uncertainty, the EUYO wishes to extend its revenue base by reigniting its previously strong tradition in private funding and corporate relationships, beginning with the recruitment of a Head of Development and Philanthropy. The Head of Development and Philanthropy will have responsibility for fundraising from corporates, individuals and trusts and foundations. The responsibility for the EUYO’s statutory public funding from EU, EU member state and local and regional public institutions will continue to be held by the Executive & Artistic Director and the Head of Executive & Finance.
In order to assist this process, the last year 18 months have been used by the Orchestra to create and put in place new development processes and initial donors, including utilising a skilled volunteer Board level fundraising committee, setting up a cross border tax incentive scheme, creating a new bespoke CRM integrated with the Orchestra’s database, creating a new website support area, initiating new patrons and individuals programmes and the base strategy for a new alumni programme, and recruiting new initial corporate donors. Now, with all of these processes and achievements in place, the EUYO seeks a dynamic entrepreneurial fundraiser to help deliver the Orchestra’s exciting future programme, and over time, to grow a fundraising team as income generation builds.

Individual giving
- Build on and develop the current major donor strategy to secure long term support.
- Manage the EUYO’s membership and patron’s programmes with the support of the Communications Team.
- Manage existing donor membership schemes and increase membership year-on-year.
- Research and cultivate a pool of prospective individual donors in conjunction with the Executive and Artistic Director, Trustees and Directors and maintain close relationships with existing donors.
- Build on and develop an annual appeal for individual donors.
- Devise new ways of attracting donors using the EUYO’s website and social media channels, beneficiaries and alumni.
Corporate giving
- Develop a healthy prospect list of companies, both nationally and internationally.
- Develop corporate sponsorship and partnership proposals.
- Work with the Executive and Artistic Director, Fundraising Committee, Board and Advisory Council to cultivate and steward corporate partners.
- Explore the potential of corporate membership and, if implemented, administer and service the Corporate Membership Scheme, maintaining close relationships with the members’ nominated contacts, circulating information, and ensuring that members enjoy the full extent of the benefits.
- Ensure all corporate partners and sponsors receive appropriate reports as required and in a timely manner.
Trusts and foundations
- Develop a pipeline of trusts and foundation prospects, working with the Executive and Artistic Director and the Head of Executive and Finance to develop appropriate resource for this new pipeline of prospects where necessary.
- Research and apply for funding from trusts and foundations.
- Work with the EUYO colleagues to measure impact and outputs from grant funding.
- Monitor delivery progress and ensure reporting according to grant funding requirements.
- Maintain relationships with trusts and foundations who are already giving to the EUYO, keeping them informed of the EUYO’s activities and of the results and benefits generated by their donation.
Profile

- 5-10 years’ experience in fundraising within the arts and cultural sector.

- Experience in producing persuasive fundraising case for support and other fundraising marketing material.

We are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of our community are at the centre of what we do.
We run a National Abuse & Violence Helpline, which brings together our four national support helplines for LGBT+ victims and survivors of: domestic abuse; hate crime; rape and sexual abuse; and so-called “conversion therapy”. We provide longer-term support to thousands of LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse through our advocacy and therapeutic services. We are person-centred, empowerment-based, and trauma-informed – meaning our focus is always on helping our clients decide what is best for them, and then supporting them through their journey.
We use what we learn through working on the frontlines with clients to work on national and local policy change, to improve outcomes for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence. We build evidence through key pieces of research around LGBT+ people’s experiences of abuse and violence. We push for legislative change, improved statutory guidance for victims, and better understanding of the needs of LGBT+ people around the country.
About the Comms Manager
The Comms Manager is a strategic, hands-on and varied role that reports into our Head of Fundraising and Comms. You will play a pivotal part in helping Galop to reach our community, increase engagement amongst our supporters and amplify the voices of LGBT+ abuse and violence victims.
You will be our first point of contact with the press and media, and lead on drafting statements, providing quotes, arranging media and briefing the CEO for any external appearances.
You will have responsibility and oversight of our social media channels and website content, working closely with key stakeholders across our fundraising, frontline and senior management teams to meet the needs of the charity and create content which resonates with our audience.
You will work with and support the CEO and Head of Fundraising and Comms to drive internal comms as Galop grows. You will also be responsible for co-creating, planning and delivering an annual communications plan for the organisation with the senior leadership team, ensuring an effective and consistent voice in both our proactive and reactive comms work.

Job purpose
This is a pivotal role created to support an ambitious £80m fundraising appeal that will culminate in the creation of the new Royal Free London Cancer Centre.
The RFL, is one of the busiest cancer services in London, combining local care for a population of 2.5m with specialist services relied on by patients from all over the UK and beyond. By 2030, the number of people diagnosed with cancer in north central London is forecast to increase by 42% to 66,000 as the population ages.
The RFL urgently needs to increase its diagnostic, treatment, research and development capacity to meet the needs of our patients. In response, the Royal Free Charity is preparing a major fundraising appeal to support:
- the capital costs for the construction and equipping of a dedicated centre
- the delivery of cancer-related support services.
The campaign communications manager will support the activities of our fundraising directorate in the private phase (Autumn 2024 onwards) and the launch of the public phase of our appeal in early 2026.

Our key priorities at FareShare UK are to grow the food volumes accessible to the charities and community groups we support across the UK. - Proven influencing, negotiation and selling skills, to understand the needs of a key partner and ability to demonstrate the value of the proposition to the customer.
- Understanding of a strategic account management approach and ability to manage multiple accounts in the FMCG, food, retail or comparable sector with professionalism and integrity consistently meeting or exceeding challenging targets
- Good working knowledge of the key players in the food retail industry and an appreciation of their ways of working with their supply chains
- Successful track record of managing cross-functional projects such as new launches, operational initiatives, promotional activity or other projects to tight timescales and budgets, ensuring involvement of all key stakeholders

Experience
- Retail account management experience working at multiple levels including Directors across Operations, Communications, Marketing, CSR, business support and technology teams
- Demonstrable experience of driving significant growth and impact in food accounts
- Track record of building, leading and managing high performing, effective teams through periods of growth and change
- Experience of managing direct reports including managing performance issues
- Project management of multiple stakeholder initiatives
- Delivery of process improvement in a sales or customer service environment
- Knowledge of and interest in Sustainable Development, Corporate Social Responsibility and experience of its application within the business environment.

What the job involves
This is an excellent opportunity to join our vibrant, proactive and attentive Brand and Media team in a varied and dynamic role. Our focus is on making Prostate Cancer UK widely recognisable and building a deep understanding of the cause for our brand to be sustained. Following audience insight, we gain the attention of priority audiences at tactical calendar moments through creative content and storytelling.
You’ll be helping to tackle some of the biggest issues facing prostate cancer, from building public support and momentum behind our ambitious research programme, to increasing public understanding of risk factors and treatment options.
With your expertise and understanding of the national health agenda you’ll plan, develop and deliver large scale integrated campaigns which result in high quality, engaging and impactful media coverage, working collaboratively with colleagues across Communications.
You’ll provide expert media and PR guidance to teams and individuals across the charity, including the Executive Team, Research and Support and Influencing teams, and will build long-lasting relationships with key influential journalists and stakeholders to ensure prostate cancer remains an issue high in their agenda.
What we want from you
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with solid experience in media relations and a strong understanding of the national health and research news agenda. You’ll be experienced in turning complex research, health or policy information into bitesize messaging and eye-catching content, along with the ability to look for new angles for stories which will help us drive forward our agenda.
Whilst your focus will be on generating proactive and reactive media coverage, you’ll also have a good understanding of the range of current communications channels and will have an eye on the bigger picture, considering opportunities to share messages and content to a wider audience.
Your excellent people skills will enable you to form effective relationships with a range of groups and individuals from journalists to colleagues, to men living with prostate cancer.
You’ll be a flexible team player, capable of managing multiple projects to tight deadlines, and happy to use your expertise to support your team, or take the lead, as the occasion demands

This role
We are recruiting for an experienced senior HR professional to take ownership of all UK HR functions within the organisation, building on the structures already in place to ensure we are a supportive and dynamic place to work.
Justice and Care is at an exciting moment with the imminent launch of a new ten-year strategy and this role will be at the forefront of helping the organisation thrive as we seek to increase our impact.
The Head of HR is a standalone role but will work closely with the Global leadership team and form part of the UK Leadership team. They will be responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, overseeing recruitment, employee relations, employee experience, learning and development, reward, talent management, people analytics, EDI and wellbeing.
Your main responsibilities will include;

Developing and delivering a forward-thinking People Strategy.

Leading on all people-related activities throughout the full employee life cycle including recruitment and onboarding, performance management, leavers, and related policies and systems.

Leading on the development, updating and day-to-day implementation of progressive HR policies and processes.

Leading on all employee relations matters ensuring are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal requirements and Justice and Care’s policies and procedures.

Implementing and overseeing all learning and development and training programmes within the organisation.

Managing the HR System ensuring it holds accurate information on all staff

Ensure we have in place robust and competitive pay and reward frameworks, supporting high performance and career progression.
