World Obesity Federation (WOF) is a worldwide federation with over 100 members and takes a holistic view of obesity from cause and preventation to treatment. WOF is a lead partner to global agencies on obesity, including WHO, and a member of  the Global Obesity Coalition.

The position will provide stratagic and operational oversight to WOF programs and overall workplan, working alongside colleagues leading on advocacy/convening, training/capacity building. data and evidence, and finance and communications.The position will help shape and provide operational alignment across and deliver on the new three year workplan.

The position is part of the senior leadership and will have 2 direct reports and operate on a matrix structure.

Desire skills - advance degree in public health, medicine, epidemiology or equivalent experience in the same field, 8 years work experience in global health, project management including workplans, proposal writing, effective communication across sector and cultures, and with both external and internal stakeholders.

Excellent spoken communications and interpersonal skills, right to work in the UK and able to travel internationally.

Desireable skills - understanding of heath systems global health and development, and health education, with experience in noncommunicable disease and / or risk factors, nutrition, organisation management and strategy skills, Additional languages.

The HR Advisor will serve as the primary point of contact for all operational HR matters at The Brilliant Club. In this role you’ll be both strategic and hands-on, solely managing the financial controls for this small charity with a £350k annual turnover.  You will support the Director and senior management team through your management of financial processes, policy and planning.

This will include using accountancy software to process income and expenditure, producing management accounts for the senior management team and Board, and ensuring the charity reports to its key funders, including Arts Council England. 

You’ll process payroll for our small team of 6 employees, taking care of liaison with HMRC as well as handling external audit and company filing.

The Programme Coordinator supports the Programme Management team and wider organisation, helping to ensure strategic priorities are effectively delivered, and that schools and tutors receive a high-quality service. Spectra has recently created a new team of three fundraisers (including this post holder). We aim to increase levels of engagement, interest and financial support from trusts and foundations, major donors, and individual giving, including increasing the level of unrestricted funding.

The Fundraising Executive role and purpose is to:

• Develop and implement a ‘small trust’ plan. They will deliver compelling and impactful approaches to trusts and foundations for financial support. Responsible for smaller trust funding applications of under 10K per year.
• Develop a new individual giving programme, set and achieve targets, and provide a high standard of stewardship in these areas of work.
• Cross working to support the ‘Major Trusts and Foundations’ Fundraiser and the Fundraising manager as required.

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who can develop this area of fundraising practice and actively contribute to the fundraising team’s ambition of growing and diversifying income, unrestricted income and incorporating a whole team approach.

Youth Futures Foundation is the What Works Centre for youth employment. We exist to address the significant disparities in youth employment for marginalised groups. We want to ensure that all young people can access and keep good quality jobs. Youth Futures was founded in 2019 as an independent, not-for-profit organisation with funding from dormant assets to drive systemic change by:

• Giving grants to organisations that provide employment support to young people so that we can generate compelling evidence with high quality impact evaluation methodologies
• Driving evidence-based change in policy and working with employers and practitioners to improve practice. We help to connect and empower those who are commissioning and delivering youth employment services.

The Senior Economist / Evidence and Evaluation Manager will work in a dedicated Impact and Evidence directorate, working at the heart of Youth Futures Foundation.

You will be central to our ambition to create the largest repository of robust evidence and evaluations of what works to support young people into good jobs. In the directorate, you will support the Heads of Evaluation, the Deputy Director and Director to ensure all Youth Futures’ investments are designed to provide robust evidence of what works. Primarily, you will support the Heads of Evaluation and the Deputy Director in the design of new impact evaluations and lead on their commissioning and management.

Our priority for this post holder is to work on our What Works Programme 2, which designs and funds impact evaluations, including (Randomised Controlled Trials and Quasi-Experimental designs) of youth employment interventions.

The Senior Economist / Evidence and Evaluation Manager will also contribute to the development of our suite of ‘evaluation architecture’, enhancing our data infrastructure and administrative dataset access, as well as methodological guidance and standards. These will ensure that, as the What Works Centre for youth employment, our evidence is as credible and useful as possible.

You will additionally support other aspects of the Evidence and Evaluation team’s commissioning. This may include developing policies and processes supporting effective evaluation methodology design, working closely with Youth Futures’ Programmes and Grants directorate. You will also work with our Policy and Communications and Employer Engagement directorates to ensure that all evaluation and evidence outputs are high quality and make clear, practical and impactful recommendations for practice and policy.

We are a multi-disciplinary team, and we welcome applications from those who have interest and experience in impact evaluation gained through commissioning or delivery experience.

This role can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.
