The Benefits Service within SEL Mind supports people with mental health problems to navigate the benefits system and challenge unfair decisions. The service currently operates across Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich, delivered in partnership with local NHS. It includes dedicated welfare benefits specialists who provide casework support, and a cross-area team of volunteers who assist with form filling and assessments for health and disability benefits.
The Casework Manager will play a key part in the service, providing line-management and supervision to a team of welfare benefits specialists, and on-site supervision for South East London Mind’s weekly form-filling clinic. The post-holder will lead on making sure that we are delivering high-quality and accurate advice in a way which meets the needs of our clients.
We are looking for people with significant experience of working within welfare benefits, including providing representation at appeals, and giving advice on complex entitlement issues. A strong understanding of the needs of people with mental health problems, and experience of management and supervising the work of others (whether staff or volunteers) are also essential to this role.
Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual for a hybrid role based in our Gloucester office with weekly travel expected to the Wiltshire & Swindon region. This position offers a unique blend of working environments supporting a healthy work-life balance, offering the flexibility to work from home on occasion.
As the Operations Manager for Gloucestershire and Wiltshire you will be responsible for the implementation, development and the ongoing delivery of a high performing service through excellent operational management and supervision of people and resources.
You will ensure the team delivers individual, tailored support for adult victims of any crime primarily through group and peer support with the option of individual casework support where this is appropriate for the victim.
You will work closely and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, Gloucestershire Constabulary, Wiltshire Constabulary, Gloucestershire County Council, criminal justice agencies as well as other statutory agencies and third sector organisations across Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
You will be the nominated deputy for the Area Manager covering both services and this will include assisting the Area Manager in monthly/quarterly reporting and attending monitoring meetings with the PCC office.
As part of your role you will ensure victim voices and experiences are listened and responded to in and beyond the criminal justice system.

The Digital Healthcare Manager is a new and exciting role at the College. This role will lead the development of the RCPCH Digital Health programme, aimed at understanding the range of technologies in use by the membership along with the digital confidence and competence of the membership through analysis of survey data. This analysis will help to provide details of key digital solutions for the workforce. The Digital Health programme will also support the workforce to embrace and implement digital health technologies into clinical practice.
As Digital Healthcare Manager, you will lead activities related to the integration of digital health technologies into mainstream paediatrics by participating in relevant Committees and working groups and reporting to Project Boards on the programme’s progress against agreed timelines, deliverables, risks and issues.
Based within the Research and Evidence team and reporting to the Head of Research and Evidence, you will work with colleagues internally and externally to embed digital skills into the paediatric workforce as well as developing education and training resources for paediatricians, to help build capacity and capability.
You will also work with the Head of Grants and Partnerships to identify sources of funding to support future work within the Research and Evidence remit and work with communications colleagues to create and implement communication plans and resources/assets related to the RCPCH Digital Health.
With a degree or equivalent experience with a research, health science or digital healthcare
component, you should have experience of producing high quality written reports, documentation and promotional information suitable for a range of audiences.
You should have experience of collaborative ways of working across multidisciplinary teams and programmes of work and have the ability to manage competing demands and conflicts whilst maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders.
With excellent organisational skills and the ability to adopt an orderly and precise approach to work, paying careful attention to detail and capable of following standard procedures and ways of working, you should also have demonstrable programme management skills, being able to work autonomously and take personal responsibility for your projects.
Knowledge of research methodology, including literature searching and data analysis, along with a project management qualification and an understanding of the education and training pathways of paediatric healthcare professionals would also be desirable.

This role is at the heart of the charity, responsible for harnessing and developing our organisational knowledge and using this to support learning, insight and connection across all teams. We are working with Ark Cancer Charity who are looking to appoint an experienced Fundraising Manager with demonstrable success in fundraising and marketing, and charity governance knowledge.
Ark Cancer Charity is an ambitious award-winning cancer charity that has raised significant donations both for capital and revenue projects benefitting patients using cancer services at the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT).

XLP is a youth work charity working to create positive futures for young people and at the cutting edge of tackling poverty and educational failure in inner London. We deliver holistic, long-term work with young people aged 11 to 25 in schools and communities.

JOB PURPOSE:
CVS Brent is looking to recruit its next Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and manage the implementation of programmes that enhance the capacity of voluntary and community organisations in the borough of Brent.
The incoming CEO will play a crucial role in leading CVS Brent through a pivotal transition period with a focus on stabilising the organisation and laying the groundwork for meaningful organisational change. CVS Brent is a dynamic and independent charity dedicated to supporting the diverse and vibrant voluntary sector in Brent. Through a range of services, including expert advice, professional training, and effective advocacy, we enable individuals and organisations in Brent to build the capacity necessary to meet the needs and aspirations of their communities through voluntary action. Located in an inner-city borough with a rich tradition of voluntary activity, we actively promote innovative approaches to working and foster relationships and partnerships between communities, local government, and health services.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership and Execution: In collaboration with the Board, the CEO will define CVS Brent's strategic direction, goals, monitor progress, and set targets..
- Provide Visionary Leadership: Lead and support staff to enhance their contributions and ensure effective programme development and delivery.
- Manage Foundation Building and Change: Establish a strong foundation for future service growth. Navigate the organisation through transitions, ensuring stability and resilience.
- Engage with Stakeholders: Align CVS Brent's objectives with those of its stakeholders by collaborating with voluntary and community organisations, local authorities, and other partners to foster meaningful relationships.

- Represent CVS Brent publicly: Represent CVS Brent and nurture effective relationships across local, regional, and national networks. Actively seek opportunities to expand and promote CVS Brent's role and impact.

- Lead Policy and Advocacy Efforts: Including engagement with Brent Council, NHS regulators, and other decision-makers.

- Report to the Board of Trustees: Attend Board meetings and keep the Board informed about CVS Brent's progress, relevant matters, and the charity's mission. Provide timely and relevant information to aid the Board in fulfilling its duties. Alert the Board to any significant risks facing the charity.
- Ensure Robust Oversight: Uphold and implement CVS Brent's policies, procedures, and systems. Strive for operational excellence by adhering to established guidelines and continuously improving processes.
- Stay Informed and Proactive: Continuously monitor and stay updated on current social, economic, political, environmental, and other relevant trends. Use this knowledge to identify strategic development opportunities for CVS Brent and proactively adapt to changing circumstances.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
While no specific qualification is required, evidence of recent continuing professional development in areas such as management, leadership, or organisational culture is desired. Alternatively, equivalent work experience in a related field will be considered.
- Partnership Building: Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships, particularly with large and complex statutory organisations. Proven success in forming positive relationships with funders, partners, and stakeholders.

The role of a Community Fundraising Executive is raising charitable donations, by building meaningful and engaging relationships to work with the communities we serve in the West Midlands. This is an exciting new role within the fundraising and communications team and we are seeking an energetic, confident and proactive fundraiser to join our team. The Welcome Centre is an independent charity providing crisis support in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We run a large food bank operation providing practical support. We also have an in-house Advice, Guidance & Support team who work with the people accessing our food bank to help improve their longer term circumstances. Each year we support thousands of people in crisis in our community. As Fundraising Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring we can provide the resources required.
We have a small friendly and committed staff team working across two sites in Huddersfield, supported by more than 100 volunteers. We rely on the generosity of our community and partners to support our work.
