About the role
The principal responsibility will be to support our ambition to become a best practice national body and an employer of choice, responsible for the day-to-day management of the HR function within Emmaus UK, as well as the development of our approach to in-house learning and delivery of our new People & EDI Strategy.
The role will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources at Emmaus UK, overseeing the whole employee lifecycle, from recruitment and induction processes to offboarding and exit interviews.
The postholder will oversee HR processes, reviewing their effectiveness and identifying and embedding improvements to improve the employee experience.
Working with the Director of Resources, the role will be central to the delivery of the strategic objectives with an HR focus, while taking responsibility for the operational HR function to ensure a positive and supportive working environment for the staff team.
Who are we looking for?
The newly created role of HR Manager will sit within the Resources directorate, to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives, as part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty to change their lives for the better while using our voice to achieve social change.

This is an exciting new role within our Integrated Marketing and Media department, managing a talented Media and PR team, creating impactful moments that inspire action and drive change for men.

What the job involves
This is an exciting new role within our Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team. The Senior Strategic Communications and Campaigns Manager will be leading strategic content and public affairs within Prostate Cancer UK.

As a member of the Fair Education Alliance, we believe in providing meaningful educational provision to students whose needs may not be best met within a traditional classroom environment, those who aren’t currently accessing education, or who benefit from additional 1:1 support. We work with over 200 qualified teachers to provide academic, subject specialised and individual tutoring and mentoring for children of all ages. Join Operation Smile UK as our Senior Acquisition Manager and make a difference in the lives of children. We're searching for a fundraising professional with experience in acquiring new donors through a variety of fundraising channels including Door to Door (F2F), digital fundraising, DRTV, cold mailing and door drops. You'll be responsible for managing a £2.4 million budget and developing innovative strategies to increase individual cash and regular giving support. This role is not responsible for the supervision or direction of staff.
Operation Smile is a global nonprofit specialising in cleft surgery and care. We provide medical training, education and mentorship to surgical teams around the world, along with expertise, research and care through our staff and volunteers, working alongside local governments, nonprofits and health systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and drive recruitment of regular givers and cash givers to grow income and supporter volumes, in a multi-channel programme including Door to Door (F2F), digital fundraising channels, DRTV, cold mailing and door drops.
- Manage relationships with agency partners executing acquisition campaigns on behalf of Operation Smile UK for the betterment of the acquisition programme.
- Lead and execute our door-to-door (F2F) programme with the goal of expanding this form of acquisition fundraising over the coming years.

The Role
Are you passionate about communication and marketing with lots of creative ideas? We’re looking for an experienced Communications & Marketing professional to diversify and grow our UK supporter base. You will be responsible for our communications and digital marketing strategy to drive and increase supporter engagement. Working remotely, you will be an integral part of a small team in the UK, reporting to the Head of Fundraising and collaborating with colleagues in India and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively create captivating and impactful content to support UK fundraising and advocacy objectives to broaden HOPE UK’s online presence and brand awareness.
- To optimise and increase engagement across social media platforms by identifying relevant opportunities to engage with online influencers, patrons and ambassadors, third parties, and key UK supporters in order to raise awareness of HOPE UK’s activities and programmes in Kolkata.
- Scheduling and sharing content provided by HOPE Kolkata, HOPE UK’s Head of Fundraising, and third-party supporters, and adapting this content to create engaging posts across HOPE UK’s platforms.
- Monitoring and managing HOPE UK’s social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and setting up a new LinkedIn account).Responding and engaging with comments, as needed. The role requires flexibility to enable monitoring channels.

Experience and Skills

With an ambition to be a £50m organisation in the next five years, the prospect research manager will play a key role in enabling over one million Palestinians to access improved healthcare annually by 2028
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and researching new major donors, trusts, and corporate prospects, ensuring that all data is accurately managed and compliant with GDPR and data protection laws. You will produce detailed, qualified donor profiles and briefing documents to support prospect meetings and events. Additionally, you will track and report on pools of prospective donors aligned with MAP's strategic priorities, helping to deliver qualified prospects at various giving levels to meet global fundraising targets. You’ll work collaboratively across the organisation to map networks of Trustees, Patrons, and other key ambassadors, while using fundraising analytics to manage the prospect pipeline and present findings to a range of audiences.
