Role Requirements
Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the Plumber will use their vast experience, skill, and knowledge from previous roles to deliver exceptional plumbing services to the estate, ensuring the efficient operation and safety of all electrical systems and associated items in compliance with current standards and regulations.
Ensuring requirements of Children, young people, parents, staff and visitors are met at all times the role will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance tasks in accordance with the planned maintenance schedule and also for installation, investigation, diagnosis and fault finding on a wide range of engineering plant and equipment, including, but not limited to heating and hot water systems, hot and cold-water services, air conditioning, air handling and ventilation equipment, drainage and rainwater system and control systems. To add variety to your day, you'll also be assigned other duties through the help desk. These tasks will diversify your workload and ensure your role remains dynamic and engaging.
Provide and receive routine and complex information to inform colleagues and other personnel. Be knowledgeable and conversant with technical issues and communicate and explain those to colleagues.
The role holder will assist in the supervision and monitoring of maintenance work carried out by contracts ensuring at all times their own work and that is contractors is within the statutory guidelines the role will ensure a quality customer service and delivery of outcomes within expected SLAs.
The role holder will participate in a 7-day shift rota and out of hours call out to ensure a 24/7 coverage of the estate.

upReach has grown quickly over the last 5 years, and our successful Income Generation brings with it a number of administrative elements, which are currently spread across numerous team members. We are investing in this new position in order to centralise those diverse admin responsibilities, with the Income and Finance Liaison Senior Officer taking full ownership of the associated processes and deliverables, and helping to establish "best practice" to support the Charity in our next growth phase.
The Income and Finance Liaison Senior Officer will contribute to the growth of upReach by working across the Income Generation and Finance teams contributing to a wide range of income and finance related activities. You will support the teams to meet income targets and deliver the 2024-27 strategic plan.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and External Engagement you will work closely with the Director of Finance, CEO, Finance and Programmes teams, and colleagues across the income generating and external engagement team; supporting them to meet financial targets, provide excellent stewardship and to implement key administrative and financial processes.
The core responsibilities include:
Income generation and External Engagement

Ownership of a range of administrative tasks, including stewarding of donors and partners and support of the Development Board.

Promptly addressing incoming queries from supporters and partners, including email, telephone and post; assist the team by managing;

Departmental email inboxes

Prioritising requests and responding where appropriate

Oversee the management of contracts with partners and funders; generate, issue and follow up in a timely fashion.

Support the timely production of monthly management reports.

Play a key role in the complaints procedures for the department and conduct full investigations where needed.

Act as the key liaison point between the income generation and finance team.

Work with Finance to identify and find solutions to bottlenecks in the purchase order, invoicing and payment process.

Ensure that money coming into the charity can be identified and coded accurately on the CRM database and finance systems.

Create and maintain accurate records in the finance system, including billing values, timings and dates.

Additional Criteria for Success:

- Evidence of writing proposals, delivering pitches and winning corporate partnerships with a £100k+ value.

The Role Within Unseen
Unseen provides support to people who have experienced Modern Slavery and Human trafficking and actively champions capturing voices in our work and providing development opportunities for those we are working with.
The Policy & Research team are currently leading three projects. The Survivor Involvement Coordinator will support in the delivery of these projects.

The postholder will support the collation of lived experience voices into our research work focused on policy impact on what really works to prevent modern slavery. The postholder will work closely with the Policy & Partnerships Manager, the Policy & Partnerships Officer, Senior Caseworkers and Unseen’s Survivor Consultant Volunteers and be responsible for supporting and improving our wellbeing activities, survivor voice forum and consultant focus groups.

The Consultant role will support the Director and Mobilise team to coordinate and deliver a range of projects supporting our clients. Central to the success of our strategy is an efficient finance function providing timely management information and strong financial controls.
You will be an astute finance professional who is able to provide sound financial advice as well having a strong grip on day-to-day financial operations. You will also ideally have experience of HR, IT, and administrative functions, and will assume company secretary responsibilities, enjoying direct liaison with our Board of Trustees.

The Volunteering Coordinator is a key point of contact for our volunteer network, supporting the coordination of their activities and providing administrative assistance to support the volunteers to thrive. The Volunteer Coordinator will support a ‘culture of volunteering' and ensure the critical role of volunteer is understood and valued across the whole organisation.
By working collaboratively with the wider Income Generation and Corporate Services Team and their peers, the Volunteering Coordinator will aim to ensure that our volunteer network is co-ordinated effectively to meet the current demands of our income and events portfolio.
The post holder will be responsible for recruitment, engagement and training of a dedicated team of volunteers and in addition responsible for ensuring that upcoming opportunities and tasks are communicated, assigned and that enquiries are replied to in a timely manner.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- A proactive, flexible and positive approach is essential.
- Be the primary point of contact for volunteer enquiries via phone, chat forums or email ensuring they receive responses within agreed timeframes, and always in a warm, friendly, and supportive manner.

- Organise recruitment programmes and match volunteer skills to charity needs. Deliver induction and training to volunteers.

- Support with any volunteer administration, mail merges and maintain accurate records of volunteer details on the charity databases, social media platforms and event management programme.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, local agencies, and partners to promote KSS volunteering in order arrange volunteer attendance and encourage volunteer sign ups.
- Manage successful relationships with colleagues in Income Generation, Corporate Service and Service Delivery to activity support, fundraising, and awareness-raising and ensure that volunteers comply with training and development requirements for the responsibilities they undertake.

Lady Margaret Hall is seeking a motivated, confident and passionate Donor Relations Officer to join the Development Team and ensure we deliver excellent stewardship to our donors.

The main duties of the role

About the role:
As Vision Rehabilitation Specialist, you will identify, deliver and evaluate professional rehabilitation interventions to vision impaired people to enhance their skills and confidence to maximise their independence.
You will offer a person-centred, outcome-focused approach to rehabilitation, assisting individuals in identifying tangible goals, conducting evaluations, and creating a plan that will help them all reach their goals and satisfy their needs while lowering risks and lessening the effects of their Visual Impairment.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Carry out an initial conversation, in line with the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act, to identify further actions, and risk factors, refer and signpost to the organisation’s wider services and other organisations to meet the individuals’ desired outcomes.
- Undertake specialist VI assessments with the person to identify their needs and aspirations to promote independent living.
- Agree a plan with the person about how their needs can be met, through other services, equipment and rehabilitation.
- Implement, evaluate and review rehabilitative services to the vision-impaired person aimed at maximising and maintaining independence, safety, dignity, and choice.
- Work with vision-impaired people who have additional complex needs.
- Provide statistical information to feed into quarterly contract monitoring reports.
- Enable the Local Authority to maintain their Partially Sighted/Sight Impaired and Blind/Severely Sight Impaired Registers.
Key skills required for this role:
- Foundation Degree in Rehabilitation Studies (Visual Impairment) or equivalent.
- Excellent planning and communication skills.
- Recognised rehabilitation work qualification (or currently working towards it).
- Proven experience in performing rehabilitation assessments with visually impaired people and providing mobility, communication and daily living skills training.
- Ability to deliver training/advice sessions to individuals or groups of service users, carers and other organisations.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Ability to travel and work in all areas of Flintshire and Wrexham.

About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.
