Our ideal candidate will be an experienced, committed and highly organised Fundraising Manager. The postholder will have a central role in working with the Head of Fundraising to secure grants from statutory agencies and trusts and foundations but will also work to steward relationships with individual donors, support innovative digital fundraising campaigns and assist in the delivery of targeted fundraising activities and events. There is significant scope and opportunity for the Fundraising Manager to develop the charity’s work arounds trusts and foundations, individual giving, challenge/community events and corporate partnerships.

This is a new role giving you the opportunity and responsibility to build on our successful fundraising and extend our appeal to new donors as well as maintain our existing supporters. Important details

About the Role
As Central Community Fundraising & Engagement Assistant, you will be responsible for the delivery of central fundraising and engagement support to regional supporters. About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40-year history. Over the last year support for our cause has seen significant growth in income as tens of thousands of supporters have joined MAP. Our challenge now is to retain this interest and ensure we sustain income as we respond to the ongoing emergency and the longer-term health of Palestinians over the coming years. With an ambition to be a £50m organisation in the next five years, our fundraising operations team, consisting of database and supporter care functions, will play a key role in enabling over one million Palestinians to access improved healthcare annually by 2028.
The Head of Fundraising Operations will enable fundraising operations to keep pace with the growth in income, futureproofing systems to ensure effective co-ordination and organisation to underpin fundraising activity, as well as delivering on an incredible supporter experience. With a new CRM in place, the role will design and implement a range of systems/processes, maximising the capabilities of the database. Working closely with internal teams including finance, the role will support external-facing fundraisers to achieve their targets, through excellence in data quality and the highest standards in supporter care.
About You
You will use your excellent interpersonal and motivational leadership skills to develop and support team members to deliver their best work. Your exceptional communication skills and the capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines will be valuable. You will have experience of thriving in a fast-paced fundraising environment, with experience of creating and implementing systems and processes for others to use. With excellent Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of how databases work in a fundraising environment, it is desirable that you have experience of MS Dynamics. Having worked with finance teams, you will be confident in delivery of income and activity reporting. The Karen Hilltribes Trust (KHT) is a UK registered Charity that has worked in Northern Thailand for the past three decades. Main Purpose of The Position
The Fundraising Manager will work closely with the Thai-Karen team and Director of KHT to secure funding to support the successful operation of the charity and implement projects in KHT’s three key programme areas: Community Health; Sustainable Livelihoods; and Access to Education. The role will be primarily desk based but with opportunities to travel to the field. The successful candidate will be directly responsible for:
• Developing and implementing KHT’s fundraising strategy;

8. Implement community fundraising activities and organise talks and fundraising events, with the support and help of KHT Trustees and volunteers.

Person Specification
You’ll likely have:
• Several years of experience in a relevant role fundraising for registered charities.

The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community that supports young asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced human rights abuses and have sought asylum in the UK as unaccompanied minors. Our two focus areas are rehabilitation and justice.
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to progress further in their career, with the freedom to creatively enhance and develop the fundraising strategy of an impactful community-based charity.
As Senior Fundraising Lead you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will lead on the development of fundraising at Baobab, exploring new avenues for funding, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships.
