About the Role

As Development Manager, you will:
· Work with parishes to create funding strategies and programmes that support the restoration and sustainability of churches.

· Work closely with colleagues across the Diocese to embed a culture of entrepreneurship and provide vital support and advice to Incumbents and Parish Church Council (PCC) members.

· Manage complex multi-funder profiles for capital projects and activity programmes, ensuring long-term sustainability and impact.

As a newly created position, the Fundraising Manager will report to the Head of Grants & Development and oversee a Fundraising Coordinator and Senior Database Officer. The Food Chain exists to ensure people living with HIV in London can access the nutrition they need to get well, stay well and lead healthy, independent lives. We deliver meals, groceries and formula milk, run cookery and nutrition classes, and hold twice-weekly communal meals for some of the most vulnerable and isolated people living with HIV in London.
We are the only HIV Nutrition specialist charity in the UK: we exist at the intersection between HIV, food poverty and social isolation. Everyone accessing our services is referred by a health or social care professional who has identified that they are experiencing crisis. Each person receives a personalised Dietetic Assessment from one of our HIV Specialist Dietitians, designed specifically to meet their needs. By offering a tailored package of support, at the appropriate time, we help people to lead healthy, independent lives.
The Grants and Fundraising Manager will work closely with the CEO in order to ensure that income is secured to enable the delivery and sustainability of our services and activities. Taking the lead on applications to trusts and grant giving organisations, the successful candidate will also work with our fundraising working group (made up of staff, trustees and volunteers) to maximise diverse income generation strategies on a community and individual level.
Since we were formed on Christmas Day 1988, The Food Chain has delivered food services to people living with HIV every week since. Position: Grants and Fundraising Manager

Location: Flexible and remote working is offered to all staff. We have an office in Caledonian Road, London, and we deliver some services in Stepney Green. We envisage this role being hybrid.

Purpose of the role:
RMC attracts funding from a wide range of areas including trusts and foundations, Local Authorities and individuals. The Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager will work closely with fundraising and operational colleagues to diversify and grow income from Trusts, Foundations, Statutory bodies, and other institutional funders to enable the organisation to fulfill its strategic priorities. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our small and dynamic but expanding fundraising and communications team during an exciting period of growth for the organisation. This newly created role will be crucial role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission and ensure the financial sustainability of the Charity. It will include identifying new funding opportunities as well as producing several initiatives including building on our grant income success.

To support our fundraising growth, we have identified an opportunity for a Community Fundraising role. This role will drive income from community fundraising across the country, ranging from rotary clubs, university RAGs, schools etc. It will also involve encouraging and supporting local fundraising initiatives by FoodCycle volunteers, and participation in sponsored challenge events such as marathons, bike rides etc.
This role will suit a self-starter who enjoys establishing community connections, seeking out and supporting grassroots activities. You will thrive on engaging with different stakeholders to raise money and profile for FoodCycle. You will have experience of community fundraising, as well as event planning and delivery. You will have excellent verbal communication skills and confidence to give presentations.
As this is a hybrid role, you will need to live within a commutable distance of Vauxhall, London.

The Fundraising and Development Manager will be a member of the leadership team, implementing the fundraising strategy by working closely with the Executive Director, alongside colleagues across the organisation and external consultants.

We are looking for someone with experience in leading donor relations, with confidence and a strategic approach to high-value fundraising. This role will deepen RPT’s understanding of our supporter base, build on existing and new donor networks and produce impactful reports to donors including foundations and trusts, so they understand RPT’s impact and commit their support over the longer term.

What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced fundraising professional who is looking for a new challenge and who can hit the ground running in this exciting new role. Therefore, you will have a strong track record of professional, broad fundraising experience from a relevant charity sector along with lots of enthusiasm and creativity.
This fundraising role will have a special focus on public fundraising and developing our fast-growing community of 3,000+ members and developing and engaging this natural group of supporters.
