We are seeking a creative and confident communicator who will support our Fundraising Team to engage and inspire current and prospective funders through case studies, events, photos, videos, and the Trust’s newsletter, with the ultimate goal of increasing income in line with our new 2025-2027 Business Plan.
What will I be doing?
Creating high-quality collateral and delivering tailored promotion for funders through our social media channels, website, CYT newsletter, and impact reports.
Day to day, you will take photos and videos at CYT events, write social media posts, write case studies and success stories, support the organisation and delivery of internal and external events – all with the aim of increasing engagement with key CYT funders and in-kind supporters.
What knowledge and experience are we looking for?
· Experience of creating engaging visual media including photography and videography etc.
· Experience in digital communications and confidence with managing social media
· Working knowledge of design software (e.g. InDesign, Canva)
NOTE: prior knowledge of the construction and built environment sector is not an essential requirement of this role.
What abilities/skills are we looking for?
· Excellent communication skills including a high level of writing skill and the ability to tailor content to different audiences
· Highly organised with an ability to pay close attention to detail
· Creative flair with a good eye for visual design
· High level of IT literacy including Microsoft office

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This exciting role will support on the delivery of income from a range of high-value donors within our philanthropy and corporate income streams. This position is key for both Helen Bamber Foundation and Asylum Aid and the postholder will work closely with the senior leadership of both charities, enabling the Head of Fundraising and Communications and the Executive Director of Fundraising and Communications to build successful funding partnerships.
We’re looking for someone who is an effective communicator with a flair for writing, who is results-focused and organised. This role best suits someone who is eager to learn and work as part of a tight-knit and successful team, and who can respond creatively and consistently to our current and future donors’ requests.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in charity fundraising. About the role
Following the launch of Imperial’s bold and ambitious strategy, Science for Humanity, in March 2024, Imperial is now preparing to launch a comprehensive fundraising and engagement campaign to support the delivery of its strategy. What you would be doing
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Campaign and Supporter Engagement, the Campaign Manager is a new position which will play a key role in the development and implementation of the campaign. You will lead the project management of the campaign and will ensure Advancement works effectively with leadership volunteers and will lead on our internal stakeholder engagement across Imperial. You will help to raise the visibility of Advancement internally and build upon existing collaborations in achieving our fundraising goals and objectives. About this role
Smart Works is looking for an experienced and motivated fundraising professional to join our dynamic team on a maternity cover for one year. We work with high profile and prestigious global businesses and this role sits at the heart of the Partnerships Team, reporting into the Director of Partnerships.
We are coming to the end of our 3 Year Plan, which saw us double the number of women reached from 5,000 per year to 10,000 per year and raising income from £3M to £5M. This is a new role for our charity, and we are looking for an individual with experience line-managing people and/or operational delivery/service delivery, ideally within a small charity setting, however we would be interested in hearing from experienced professionals with transferable skills.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operational running of the charity, ensuring Thursday evening Squad sessions are delivered to a consistently high standard and that the charity is compliant with all relevant legislation and internal policies. They will have direct line-management responsibility of our two part-time group leaders who lead our Thursday evening sessions and who liaise directly with our members. - Oversee DBS checking of staff, trustees and volunteers
- Work with leaders to maintain updated DBS & member records on charity’s database systems.
- Develop, manage and implement processes and procedures to ensure the charity runs efficiently and maximises our impact.

- Liaise with building management when necessary to request for any maintenance issues to be resolved.

More in Common is seeking a full-time Research Associate or Research Manager as we grow our team and advance our mission of building a more united and inclusive UK, where all people feel respected, better understood, and share a sense of belonging. More in Common UKis a small team with a start-up culture where everyone is expected to execute a range of responsibilities. The Research Associate or Research Manager will work closely with the UK Team across our core areas of research, communications, partnership, and client work. The role will report to our UK Associate Director. The Research Associate will serve as a key member of the UK team, working on quantitative and qualitative research projects for our clients and partners and as part of our wider thought leadership, delivering high quality outputs and supporting More in Common’s communications and dissemination work.

The Research Associate role involves:
Research
● Support and execute a range of quantitative and qualitative research projects for More in Common’s own thought leadership work and our client/partner work
● Manage external research vendors’ relationship, including scheduling focus groups and project managing opinion polling research
● Analysis, interpretation and manipulation of quantitative data, and willingness to learn how to perform statistical/econometric analysis
● End-to-end project management for quantitative and qualitative public opinion research projects from design, execution (drafting surveys and discussion guides, and with time, moderating focus groups), analysis, report writing and presentation of insights (including data analysis)
● Drafting and co-authoring public-facing research reports for More in Common and reports and briefings for clients and partners
Partnership / Client management:
● Day-to-day support and project management for a range of our client and partner projects
● Identifying new partners, clients, and opportunities across various sectors from business to civil society to the public sector
● Drafting proposals and responding to tenders for those potential partners and clients and supporting on pitches.
● Delivering trainings and briefings for clients and partners drawing on insights from More in Common’s research

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated fundraiser to join our successful team as we embark on a major capital campaign to raise £150m. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this role will be responsible for personally securing six and seven-figure gifts from High-Net-Worth Individuals.
The Senior Philanthropy Manger will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy, the Senior Principal Gifts Manager and the rest of the Philanthropy team, feeding into the overall strategy of high-value partnerships. They will manage a portfolio of funder accounts which deliver long term, high-value strategic partnerships as well as building new relationships.
The Senior Philanthropy Manager will also manage 2 roles – Patrons Manager and a Philanthropy Manager (HNWI and Legacies), with oversight of both the Patrons Programme and Legacy programme.

Main tasks and responsibilities
· Manage a portfolio of prospects, in the UK and abroad, capable of making six and seven-figure gifts.
· Raise income in line with agreed personal and team fundraising targets.
· Working closely with the whole Philanthropy team to coordinate on the overall strategy and targets for maximising philanthropic giving to the NHM.
· Manage a team of 3, which includes line management of a Patrons Manager and Philanthropy Manager (HNWI/Legacies), whilst motivating them to meet key objectives and targets within the overall Philanthropy team.
· Work alongside the Philanthropy team, Special Events team and Corporate team in the preparation of written donor proposals, donor stewardship and the planning and execution of events related to the cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors.
· Work independently to plan and implement creative strategies to increase philanthropic gifts at the six and seven-figure level by creating bespoke cultivation and solicitation plans that utilise senior stakeholders effectively.
· Actively solicit funding personally, as well as plan solicitations for senior staff as appropriate.
· Build strong relationships and partner with key staff across NHM in line with our strategic ambitions.
· Prepare written briefings for senior management and with donors and prospective donors as well as follow up documentation and correspondence.
· Ensure full and timely records of all activity are kept on the database in adherence to set policies and procedures.

Person Specification
Essential
· Significant fundraising or income generating experience and a proven track record of securing income at the six-figure+ level.
· Demonstrated success in managing a high value and diverse portfolio of major donors that include complex relationships (e.g. interests and relationships across a large organisation).
· Experience of working within a results-oriented environment, with a record of achieving personal KPIs and targets.
· Exceptional written communication skills with an ability to convey detailed or scientific information in a concise and engaging manner.
