Summary of role
The Community Fundraising Lead will work as part of the Partnerships team. The role will collaborate on the development of the community fundraising strategy and will lead on its implementation. The Director of Fundraising and Engagement plays a crucial part in helping us achieve our vision that no family whose child has cancer, or a life-challenging condition should have to cope alone. As a vital part of the Senior Management Team, you will report directly to the CEO. About this role

Main responsibilities

- Help to build a strong fundraising culture and ethos across the organisation, and wider community rail movement, including feeding expert advice and input into our member support team, training and events.

Skills, competencies and experience

The campaign is funding specialist nurses and therapists for Parkinson’s, making a huge difference to the lives of people living with the condition. Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition, and this work is one of the charity’s top strategic priorities for 2024 and 2025 and a crucial fundraising and communications priority.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with fundraising and communications teams across the charity, including Philanthropy, Trusts, Commercial Partnerships and Special Events, with a growing focus on Individual Giving, Events, Community and Supporter Experience as the appeal builds momentum.
We’re looking for someone who has successfully managed diverse projects, and also has experience of working in one or more of these fundraising disciplines to ensure they can hit the ground running. We’re looking for an experienced individual to join our Community Fundraising team based in Wales as Community Fundraising Hub Manager, this is part of a job share role covering our North West, Northern Ireland and North Wales hub, the role will have the responsibility for the Wales and part of the North West area of the hub. You will join us working 21 hours per week on a permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £24,817 (pro rata of £41,363) annum plus excellent benefits.

Main Purpose:
To work as part of the Leadership Team to develop and grow commercial enterprises, develop corporate giving schemes, secure donations to establish a sustainable unrestricted income stream into the Charity and showcase the work of the Charity on social media platforms.
Income Generation:
- To establish business enterprises within the charity to generate paid for service income, managing these operations and maximising profit.

Xenia is a grassroots women’s organisation on a mission to create more inclusive, equal and welcoming communities. We deliver weekly workshops in London and Sheffield which support women from all backgrounds, ages, faiths, cultures and immigration statuses to share, connect and learn together.

We aim to be true to our values that everyone has something to teach and everyone has something to learn. Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR) exists to relieve the suffering of British wildlife, to encourage respect and tolerance for wildlife and to further its conservation. SWWR strives to do this by:

To maximise the potential funding available for Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR), particularly through obtaining grants from trusts, foundations, local authorities and other sources.
This role will also be responsible for enhancing the reach and value of legacy fundraising at SWWR and building strong relationships with corporate supporters to help secure the financial sustainability of the Charity.
Our Fundraising Manager is responsible for planning and preparing all fundraising and grants working alongside all departments to ensure projects are fulfilled from inception to fruition. The post holder takes care of medium- to long-term activities, budgeting, planning and strategy, as well as being responsive to emerging opportunities and adapting to change.
