Summary
The role is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the Philanthropy and Partnerships team at Diabetes UK. With more people living with diabetes and millions more at risk of developing Type 2, our work has never been more needed. You will lead on prospect research and pipeline management across the Philanthropy and Partnerships (P&P) team, developing a clear strategy that focuses on sourcing prospective donors to fund key priority projects. You will be the overall stewardship lead for the team, overseeing and enabling excellent stewardship - including the creation of materials and delivery of events. You will lead on ensuring compliance with fundraising best practice and will introduce new processes to enhance our efficiency and impact as team. You will lead a function that offers critical expertise and resource to drive income growth, now and in the future.

Main Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Act as the strategic lead for prospecting and data and information management that underpins all of the Philanthropy and Partnerships teams activities working closely with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Design and implement innovative and data driven strategies for prospect research, moves management, partnership approval and pipeline development
- Develop and deliver an exceptional stewardship programme, encompassing donor communications, events and impact reporting
- Evaluate and provide critical analysis of fundraising and prospecting activity to deliver actionable insight, process innovation and project management
- Line manage a small team focussing on donor communications, events and prospect research
- You will also be responsible for motivating a small team and actively engage with the wider philanthropy and partnerships team, other directorates and external audiences to maximise opportunities for collaboration and growth.

About the role
This role drives significant growth in awareness and engagement on our digital platforms through storytelling and campaign management.
You will use your digital marketing knowledge to increase the reach of the two charities’ brands, building donor awareness through optimised digital advertising (paid social, Google ad grants etc).
As a primary stakeholder in our social media strategy, you will understand what makes a good story; bringing our fundraising, brand and services to life.
About you
You'll be data-driven with a deep understanding of paid social media, Google Search, CPC, SEO. You will optimise campaigns by leveraging analytics and be able to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the charity using reporting platforms such as PowerBI. Excellent written communication skills are essential for effectively sharing insights.

This role forms an essential part of our high-value fundraising operation by working closely with fundraisers to identify and prioritise prospects through thorough desk-based research. About the role
This role will be responsible for leading on the digital communications and content strategy, in collaboration with the digital communications and brand lead. The strategy will have a focus on developing fundraising messaging and digital influencing campaigns in an integrated way across all related channels to drive forward our ambitious fundraising and campaigns plans.
As part of the award-winning Fundraising and Brand team at Refugee Action, you will help create and implement bespoke supporter journeys across multiple online platforms with the aim of significantly raising our online presence, increasing donations, inspiring change and supporting the organisation’s growth. Prospectus is excited to be supporting our client in their search for a Supporter CRM and Data Manager. The hospice’s mission is to provide the highest standards of individualised care for people with life-limiting conditions, palliative and end of life care needs, and their families, living in Basildon and Thurrock districts.
This is a full-time, permanent position paying a salary of £29,612.93 to £38,412.80 per annum depending on experience. The role is based at their site in Thurrock, Essex.
The Supporter CRM and Data Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of the hospice’s supporter data and income operations strategy and developing annual delivery plans, including strategic planning and management of the Fundraising team’s supporter CRM, data insight and income operations function. You will develop, manage and review processes and procedures for all fundraising income and data across on and offline platforms and ensure all income and supporter data is processed accurately, in a timely manner and in line with Hospice policies and service level agreements.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of CRM database management and developing and maintaining database processes and procedures. You will have demonstrable experience of working with data for marketing purposes, including effective and compliant handling of communication preferences.

This 12 month project will help load accurate new and historic data onto our new CRM, MS Dynamics. You will work on designing new processes for importing current and ongoing financial transactions from our trusted suppliers. This will involve working with data and fundraising colleagues, selecting the most appropriate technology, writing the documentation, training others as well as ensuring accurate and timely loading of the data once live.
In May we launched our new CRM Dynamics 365 with small data sets in a staggered approach working team by team. This post will support our fundraising team to ensure they have accurate and up-to-date supporter information, enabling timely communications with donors and precise monthly financial reconciliations.
You will be a detail-oriented and self-motivated professional with proven experience in managing data imports and ETL processes. With strong data analysis skills and ideally experience of loading data into MS Dynamics, you understand how to transform data to support decision-making and ensure accurate financial reconciliations.
