You will play a key role in ensuring our young people have a meaningful, inclusive, and memorable experience with Jamie’s Farm, feeling the positive impact long after their visit.

Through residential visits to our working farms, we provide a nurturing environment where young people can reflect, build confidence, and develop the resilience they need to overcome personal challenges.
Known within the organisation as ‘Team Leader’
More about the role: As Team Leader, you will manage the delivery team at either Hill House or Lower Shockerwick farms, working alongside the Head of Hub to lead an impactful programme. Your responsibilities will include leading up to four visits per month, ensuring the smooth delivery of residential visits, and fostering a culture of empowerment and collaboration within the team. You will help achieve key performance goals including high visitor retention and staff satisfaction rates, while also leading professional development and team-building activities for your team.
You will participate in all aspects of farm life—leading walks, guiding young people through activities like gardening and crafts, and creating meaningful connections during shared meals and evening programmes. You will also serve as the main contact for a set of partner schools, building strong and supportive relationships.

The Programme Manager role
Due to the continued expansion of our programmes, we are seeking a new team member to support our next period of growth.
You will be a consumate account manager to support our skills and employability programmes designed in partnership with industry. You will work collaboratively with our corporate and industry partners to support teachers and students in schools and further education institutions access a range of TTF educational programmes.

We’re Causeway, the UK-wide charity who believes in the power of lasting change. We take people from existing to living, and empower our service users, including survivors of modern slavery and exploitation, to find their voice and place in society. Role Summary
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accommodation Service Manager, based in our South Yorkshire region. You will oversee two Coordinators, with the responsibility for 5 safe-house properties in total: To ensure Service Users are supported effectively, staff are managed well, and internal processes and procedures are followed to a high standard, and that all contractual KPI's and standards are met. Where required, you will also play a role in implementing service and system improvements.
Responsibilities
Service Management
- Oversight, line management coaching and support of Coordinators including effective supervisions and annual appraisals.
- Ensure all Service Users are being supported effectively and assist Coordinators with problem-solving and managing incidents, safeguarding issues, and complex cases.
- Ensure all staff are supported and managed effectively by their Coordinators, this includes leave, performance, wellbeing, and training.
- Communicate with the Salvation Army Modern Slavery team where necessary.
- Regular visits to all accommodation sites
- Work collaboratively with People and Culture staff to support and manage staff as needed.
- Organise and run the on-call rota for the service.
- Oversee other services or a team in the absence of Coordinator (ie. Holiday or sickness).
Safeguarding
- Ensure your team works proactively and closely with the Safeguarding Lead to keep all Service Users and Staff safe from harm.
- Ensure that the safeguarding policy and reporting system are strictly adhered to.
Health & Safety / Facilities Management
- Ensure lone-working safety procedures are implemented and sustained.
- Understand H&S standards & requirements and ensure they are monitored and maintained.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the Facilities Manger to raise & remedy H&S issues.
Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all KPIs and standards are met and tracked by staff including referrals, exits, RNAs, and accommodation standards.
- Ensure all baselines, checklists, audits, and other quality control systems created by the Assurance team are used consistently and processes are adhered to.
- Manage Service User or external complaints with the support of Senior Service manager when necessary.
- Ensure all month-end procedures are followed by staff, and information submitted effectively.
- Manage all performance issues raised by the Assurance team effectively and proactively.
- Ensure the Service is prepared for internal or external inspection & auditing from CQC, The Salvation Army, etc.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with the Head of Service in developing local partnerships and networks.
- Represent Causeway externally at events.
- Proactively engage in Networks and Forums you are assigned to.
Financial Control
- In collaboration with the Senior Service Manager ensure spending is in line with the MSVCC contract, policy, and budget.
- Communicating with the finance team appropriately with regards to month-end, financial requirements for the service, and problem-solving.
- Sign off expenses and spend in-line with expenses policy. Training, Learning, & Development
- Support other Services & Innovations e.g. LifeLink & Bright Future.
- Support the work of the Communication and Business Development & Fundraising Department as requested.
- Develop and deliver training in conjunction with the People & Culture team.
Organisational Responsibilities
- To take the lead on any new projects that may take place asked to do so by LM.
- To support any regional events such as staff meetings, training, external events etc.
- Attend relevant team meetings management meetings, and local team meetings.
- To maintain and build the Causeway culture and values across the staff team in the region.
- To be ‘on-call’, out of hours approximately one week in three/four - managing and accepting referrals and dealing with out-of-hours incidents.

Cleanup Champions work closely with Cleanup Hubs and other partner organisations to encourage more people to get involved in litter picking locally.

Main Purpose of the Role:

ABOUT ROCKINGHORSE
Rockinghorse Children’s Charity was set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann as the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. We raise money to provide live-saving medical equipment and additional services with the aim of improving the lives of sick children throughout Sussex. Along with the Royal Alex and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit, Rockinghorse also supports the Special Care Baby Unit in the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath along with paediatric wards, specialist neonatal units, respite centres and children’s services across Sussex. Rockinghorse does not receive any government funding and relies on the generous support of individuals, community groups, schools, companies and trusts. We believe that no matter where they are, children should always be allowed to be children.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role manages the finance and operations team. You’ll bring strategic leadership to the function to ensure the smooth running of all functions within finance and operations. You will ensure delivery, strategic development and appropriate planning and analysis of financial and operational services and systems to make sure our charity uses the funds it receives wisely and efficiently to support children across Sussex. This is a senior role within the charity reporting to the CEO, working across the charity. You’ll be a key influencer and consultative colleague within the charity. You’ll foster a culture of excellence and wellbeing in your team, building accountability and championing teamwork, where a vision is shared, and success is celebrated. You’ll be committed to developing each member of your team to realise their full potential at Rockinghorse.
DUTIES OF THE ROLE
Finance
· To ensure excellent financial management is in place with effective procedures, processes, and controls to effectively manage risk, embed best practice and meet regulatory requirements.
· To provide high quality and timely management information to budget holders, SMT, the CEO and Trustees.
· To work closely with the Head of Development & Philanthropy and other managers to develop funding bids, ensuring that appropriate budgets are constructed.
· To establish and maintain effective working relationships both inside and outside the charity, particularly with auditors, bank, Charity Commission, Companies House and Insurance brokers so Rockinghorse is always perceived as a professional, efficient and ethical organisation.
Strategic
· To support the development, effective implementation and monitoring of organisational strategy and business plans.
· To develop and lead the organisation’s budget and forecasting process.
· To contribute to all Board meetings and two sub-committees: Finance, Audit & Risk and HR and Operations.
· To provide great leadership and line management for the Finance and Operations team, driving quality and performance and providing support and development for team members.
Operations
· To oversee the delivery and maintenance of high-quality IT for the organisation (via our outsourced function).
· To oversee the provision of effective HR management across the organisation.
· To oversee the delivery of office facilities to ensure a positive working environment and is compliant with health and safety legislation.
· To champion value for money across the whole charity and make sure contractual arrangements and leases are appropriate.
Other (Depending on the hours/days of contract)
· Oversee the volunteering function of the charity - either as the direct manager of the function or by managing a part time volunteer co-ordinator.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
1. A fully qualified accountant with a recognised qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA).
2. A proven track record of successful management of finance and operations functions (ideally in a charity or not for profit).
3. Technical accounting skills, especially in relation to statutory accounting.
4. Sound knowledge of Charity SORP, VAT, taxation and other compliance requirements.
5. Strong analytical skills and highly numerate.
6. Strong IT skills, including accounting and reporting packages and especially Excel.

The Role

The Job
The Technical Lead (SRM Capacity Strengthening) will bring extensive practical experience in NGO Security Risk Management (SRM) and training design and delivery to the GISF team.
This is a key role in disseminating knowledge generated through GISF’s network of more than 130 members. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and delivery of virtual and in-person trainings and workshops to enhance the SRM capacity of GISF Members and the wider NGO sector. These activities will range from addressing strategic topics for senior SRM leaders to promoting best practices in operational coordination.
